Chapter 190: ABO / 5.1 : This Atlas was switched at birth
When Atlas opened his eyes he was in a ballroom. He looked at the decoration and the tables filled with gifts. He looked at the name on the banner and saw Elwyn & Atlas.
He touched his face and saw that he was crying. He wiped his tears and looked toward where the people were screaming in excitement.
There was a young man on his knee proposing to another young man surrounded by people. Atlas blinked to receive this universe’s information.
This Atlas is 18 years old Omega. Atlas grew up in a rich family that owned a video game company called Nye Games. The Nye had one of the most popular video game companies thanks to their distributor Cian Cube.
Cian Cube had a platform that allowed you to play all your favorite games in the same space, companies would pay them millions just to be on that platform but it was worth it since everyone in the world used Cian Cube.
Since Atlas was born he was raised to take over the company, he was a genius when it came to video games and coding since it was his passion. He had graduated early and was already working at Nye Games.
Atlas was engaged to Jacob the son of the president of Cian Cube. Atlas’ father Ludek and Jacob’s father Damian Cian had agreed that their two sons would marry and that Cian Cube and Nye Games would become permanent partners.
They drafted a contract stipulating that the firstborn of the Nye family would marry his firstborn and that they’ll only become permanent partners once they marry when they turn 19.
Despite being engaged to Jacob Atlas had only seen him once and that’s all it took for him to fall in love with him. He then became more enthusiastic about their wedding when before he didn’t have many feelings.
He had only agreed because it was what his parents wanted. Atlas who already worked at Nye games and was about to marry the alpha he was in love with within a year was happier than he had ever been.
That all went away the day a beta called Elwyn came to knock at his house. He told his father Ludek and mother Mircea that he was their real son.
Elwyn said that the day he was born there was a mix-up and that he and Atlas were exchanged. After taking a paternity test it happened that everything Elwyn had said was the truth.
Since he had been in foster homes his entire childhood Ludek and Mircea invited him to come into their house. They reassured Atlas that it wouldn’t change anything and that he was still their son.
Atlas wholeheartedly believed his parents so he welcomed Elwyn and treated him like a brother. Elwyn was extremely happy and reciprocated and the two became close.
Atlas even taught him all he knew about video games and he joined the company. All it took for it to end was for Elwyn to meet Jacob and fall madly in love. Jacob just so happened to like him too and the two started a secret relationship.
Elwyn told him the truth about his birth and Jacob told his father. He immediately called Ludek and told him that he would break the agreement if his firstborn wasn’t the one who would marry his son.
Damian knew that even if Atlas were to become president Elwyn who was the birth son of Ludek would be able to contest it. All he cared about was acquiring Neo Games and having control over it.
Ludek spoke to Atlas and told him that he couldn’t be the president anymore and that Elwyn would be the one to marry Jacob.
Ludek said that wouldn’t change the fact that he would still be working at the company and that he was still part of the family. Atlas simply nodded and said that he understood even if he was heartbroken.
Elwyn was over the moon but couldn’t fully enjoy his life when he knew that he would still see Atlas every day at Nye Games. He also knew that his father and mother both saw him as a genius developer.
He did everything in his power to make Atlas quit by throwing his happiness with Jacob in his face. Jacob even proposed to him officially on the day of Atlas and Elwyn’s birthday.
Ludek and Mircea had ranted a ballroom in a Cian hotel and threw a party for them both. Everyone was there that day and Atlas felt humiliated and heartbroken when he saw Jacob kneeling in front of Elwyn to officially ask him to marry him.
Atlas left the party crying and was run over by a car. He was in a coma for a long time until his parents decided to pull the plug on him on the day of Elwyn and Jacob’s wedding.
When Atlas had received all the information he looked at Jacob who was on his knees with a ring making a speech. When he was bored he looked around the room.
He doesn’t understand how he was so blind to believe that his parents loved him the same even with Elwyn there. It’s fine he’ll destroy Nye Games until the only thing left is ashes.
Atlas is the one who created most of the games they sell and just before he died he was almost done finishing Extinct a first-person shooter game. Thanks to him and that game Nye Games became the number one company.
He’ll let them have it but first, he needs to make some modifications. As he looked around the room he felt a call. Not someone calling his name but a primal call to someone.
He turned his head searching for the person and as soon as he saw him he knew he was the one. The alpha was looking at him like he was the only one in the ballroom.
He had a chiseled jawline and his intense almond grey eyes were shining. His hair was wavy and dark. He had a well-set straight nose and full lips.
He was wearing a dark three-piece suit that fitted him to perfection. You could see his muscles underneath it and Atlas felt like he looked like your typical overbearing president.
Even if his aura seemed cold Atlas only felt the need to get closer to him and to look into those familiar grey eyes. Before he could think he walked toward him their eyes never leaving each other.
The alpha walked as well until they were face to face. He looked at the omega standing in front of him.
He had long phoenix eyes and narrow and thin eyebrows. His blond hair made his blue eyes shine brightly. He carried an aquiline nose that complemented his prominent cheekbones.
They both felt like they were the only person in this ballroom. The alpha grabbed his hand and left the room. He got into an elevator and pushed a button to the top floor.
Once the doors were closed he turned around and looked at Atlas. Atlas looked back, the alpha pulled him in his embrace and kissed him. Atlas held onto his shirt as the two kissed desperately.
It seemed like the two hadn’t seen each other for a long time. When the doors opened he lifted Atlas and he wrapped his legs around his waist. He walked to his suite still kissing.
He closed the door behind him and walked to the bedroom. He put Atlas down and looked into his blue eyes. He never believed he would meet his mate let alone at his son’s fiance’s ridiculous birthday party.
He only came because he needs to talk to Ludek about their latest project but it can wait. He caressed the omega’s cheek. Atlas asked:
"What’s your name?"
Hearing his lovely voice the alpha smiled. everything about him is sweet. He was surprised that he didn’t know his name though.
"Damian."
Atlas nodded but felt confused. Damian is Jacob’s father so why is he so young? He checked Versem and was stunned. When Damian was little one of the maids that worked for his family stole his sperm to have a baby.
He believed that if he gave birth to a Cian he would be well taken care of and his baby would become the president of Cian Cube or Cian hotels.
Damian was only 12 and once the maid gave birth to the baby he was forced by his parents to sign a paper relinquishing his right as a mother. Jacob was brought to the Cian home and was raised by his grandmother.
Damian is only 30 years old yet he has an 18 years old son. That’s insane. The Cian is an old family and they not only have Cian Cube but a chain of hotels.
Damian asked:
"What’s yours?"
"Atlas."
Damian looked at him thinking. He is sure that name is familiar to him he just doesn’t know why. He thought about the banner in the ballroom and asked:
"Are you Ludek’s son?"
Atlas shook his head.
"He’s not my birth father or father."
Even if Mircea and Ludek aren’t his real parents they never acted like parents either.
The only reason they treated him so well is that he brought millions to the company.
Damian frowned and he leaned in kissing him tenderly. He heard about him and Elwyn being switched at birth and he can’t imagine what he must be going through.
He didn’t cross his mind before because he had never met him but now he does because feel for him. When Damian pulled back Atlas couldn’t stop himself from smiling.
His Er-ge is trying to comfort him when they just met. It’s not just that he can feel that their bond is stronger. It feels powerful like it’s an entity on its own. Damian felt his heart skip a beat when he saw his lovely smile.
He kissed his forehead and said:
"You’re beautiful."
Atlas’ heartbeat quickened and his cheeks flushed. Why is Er-Ge such a cutie pie in this universe? He always is but Damian is even more.
Damian’s eyes softened when he saw the blush on his cheeks. Now that I’ve met my mate he will never leave my side.
