Chapter 157: Interstellar / 3.1 : This Atlas is a traitor
When Atlas opened his eyes he was strapped to a standing torture board with only his pants on. His arms and legs were spread at each end of it. On the table next to it were multiple machines and torture tools.
He looked in front of him and saw a man installing what seem to be a camera that would go live at any time. Another man was leaning against the wall with his arms crossed looking at him with a mocking smile. Atlas rolled his eyes and then blinked to receive this universe’s information.
This Atlas is a 19 years old man. He was the heir of the Storm family. All the men in his family were in the military and Atlas aspired to be just as successful as them. The Storm’s name was well known since it was an old family who made a fortune over the years.
Atlas’ father was the general of the army on planet Traetis. He was raised by him alone since his mother passed when he was 2 years old. When his father would go on missions he would stay next door at the Destrys.
The Destrys had a son name Evander and he and Atlas were good friends. Evander’s father Micah was in the military as well that’s how he and Atlas’ father became best friends.
When Atlas was 16 he went to the Destrys for a week while his father was on a mission but unfortunately, he did not return. The army had been fighting with space pirates who would often steal valuable information including missile codes and plans to build powerful weapons and mechas.
His body was expatriated back to Traetis and he was saluted as a hero for destroying all the information they had stolen before his death. Atlas was heartbroken but he stayed strong so he could become a hero like his father and make him proud.
When he was 18 he entered the Storm Academy. His family owned the best school for future mecha engineers, pilots, and soldiers. Atlas’ father had the academy run by Micah who couldn’t fight anymore due to an injury on the battlefield.
Evander joined the academy as well since he dreamed of becoming a soldier too. As soon as Atlas joined the academy he excelled in every field. Everyone believed that he would become General of the army in the future just like his father.
The only thing that bothered Atlas was seeing Evander being hit on by one of the Jonas. The Jonas family was just as old as Atlas’s but they were 10 times more powerful. Cassian Jonas had become the new General of the army after Atlas’ father had passed.
His children went to the academy as a lieutenant general. Atlas felt the need to compete with them but he still ended up as the third in charge as the major general.
Everyone believed that it was already impressive seeing how young he was but Atlas believed that Evander would love him back if he was the lieutenant general.
What he didn’t know is that nothing he would have done would make Evander love him. Evander and his father started to resent him when his father passed. Micah believed that his best friend should’ve left him the academy including money seeing that Atlas was always at their house when he was on missions.
When Atlas and Evander entered the academy their resentment turned into hatred when they saw him excel in everything he put his mind to. They decided that they would take everything away from him and then kill him.
They both knew that Atlas was in love with Evander so they decided to use that against him. After Atlas’ father had defeated the pirate crew they went into hiding and came back more vicious than before.
They were recruiting traitors from the army to join their crew so the Jonas volunteered, they stayed with them for a year earning their trust so they could destroy their entire fleet at once from within.
While they were there they were still secretly in contact with Micah and when they were close to their end goal he decided that it was the perfect time to get rid of Atlas. He sent Atlas and Evander on a mission to get the Jonas after the fleet was blown up.
Before going Micah told Atlas that he had to write a will in case something were to happen. Atlas told him that he would leave everything to Evander and that he would make sure he would come back alive even if he had to sacrifice himself.
After signing the will he and Evander left and they were quickly attacked by a pirate fleet. Atlas put Evander in the safety pod so he could flee while he distracted the pirates. His plan worked since Evander escaped and he ended up being caught on the main ship and facing the captain.
He was chained in the torture room where all the soldiers from the army caught would be tortured for information. One of the Jonas who had become the first mate told him not to say anything and to hold on just a few hours then they would be free.
When Atlas was caught they contacted Micah and told him that they had found a new way to flee and that they were already done installing the nitro bombs. Every time the captain would catch a soldier he would air live his torture so the entire Traetis planet would see him betray his nation by revealing military secrets.
Unfortunately, all the soldiers he had caught before had low clearance while Atlas was the third in charge. As soon as the torture started the whole planet watched it live on their tv or computer.
They were all horrified when Atlas spilled every single secret. The Jonas still freed him and managed to flee after blowing all the fleet to bits and pieces. As soon as Atlas was on planet Traetis he was booed and insulted for being a coward and a traitor.
He was put on trial for betraying his country and was exiled to the barren planet Millerth and died after starving to death. Evander inherited the entire Storm fortune and ended up marrying a Jonas.
The reason he never got into a serious relationship is that he and his father were worried Atlas might make their life difficult since he owned the Strom academy and that he loved Evander. Before Atlas died he couldn’t understand why he only lasted an hour during the torture.
Micah and Evander knew that Atlas would never willingly betray the planet his father died for so Evander made him drink a truth serum just before they left for the mission that lasted 48 hours. It was the sole reason he betrayed his nation.
When Atlas had received all the information he looked down and his eyes flashed furiously. Evander that bitch! Why couldn’t he show up when they were being attacked instead of now? He would’ve gladly let him die.
He used Versem to change his spiritual strength. It went from a 2S to a 5S and his physical level L became triple-A. He’s just as strong the as the Jonas now. They’re the strongest on the planet. Ughh he hates them so much.
He augmented his internal force too and got rid of the truth serum. He felt it coming up and just as the door was being opened by the captain he threw up. The captain came in and looked at the vomit on what used to be the spotless floor.
Atlas followed his eyes and he looked at the captain again. He said almost annoyed:
"It’s just water why do you care soon they’ll be blood everywhere."
The captain looked up in surprise.
He took a step closer and admired Atlas. He had gold peach blossoms eyes putting anyone who look into them in a trance. His eyebrows were thin and he had an aquiline nose with high cheekbones.
His skin was fair and his full lips were red as blood. His dark hair made his beautiful gold eyes shine bright as stars. He had never seen a soldier as pretty as him that’s for sure.
He was going to let someone else deal with the torture but now that he’s seen this lovely face he’ll do it. He wants to make sure that nothing happens to it before they get everything out of him.
Plus he might as well use him to warm his bed at night too and he doesn’t want to look at something ugly while he fucks him. He looked at the technician and asked:
"Is everything ready?"
"Yes, captain."
He smiled and looked at Atlas again.
"I’ll go get changed before we go live, I want to make sure I look just as pretty as you."
He caressed Atlas’s cheek and he smiled gently. Seeing his smile like he wasn’t about to be tortured the captain chuckled and left for his quarters.
When the room was empty again Atlas looked at the mirror behind the camera. He had a knowing smile on like he wasn’t just looking at his reflection. He raised an eyebrow and said impatiently:
"If you have something to say say it now before your sexy captain comes back."
That captain is definitely his type, if he didn’t have a multiverse boyfriend he for sure would’ve jumped him. Everyone like the look of a bad boy and he does too. No wonder he loves Er-Ge so much, that man is the epitome of bad. Atlas looked at the entry when the door opened and someone entered.
