Eden entered his house and he immediately narrowed his eyes. He’s annoyed with the entire Ryatt family right now he doesn’t care if Klay is Gege or not. He walked to his room and opened the door. "I will never let anyone make me feel bad about who I am ever again or take my company away from me. No matter who she is to you I won’t let her choose who will run Knox Fort."
Klay’s heart clenched.
He felt like something was different but he didn’t realize how heavy this whole thing burdened Eden. Even if he has this careless attitude he always knew it wasn’t the case but he didn’t think it was this bad either. But then again why wouldn’t it be? After everything he went through now he has to deal with his mother’s birthday party and all the people who believe he shouldn’t exist.
He turned his head and said:
"I’m sorry I’ve been selfish. I keep saying that I want us to be together when I didn’t think about what it would entail for you. I’ve never doubted that you would run Knox Fort that’s why my mother having shares there meant nothing to me. She’s a businesswoman she knows it’s not personal. You’re my mate I know it and as soon as she sees you she will too. But even if she doesn’t it won’t change how I feel about you or us spending the rest of our life together. You..."
Klay swallowed and said with difficulty:
"You can’t leave me. Ever."
Eden murmured:
"I won’t stand in the way of your relationship."
Klay said determinedly:
"If she can’t accept us then she’ll be the one to do that."
Eden looked at him unsure. Klay tightened his hold and said:
"Did you hear me?"
Eden nodded and hugged him.
Even if Klay is acting like he won’t take no for an answer Eden can tell he is worried about losing him and of course, he understands he feels the same. He can’t be without this person either. He caressed his nape reassuringly. Klay pulled back and kissed him. Eden kissed him back and wrapped his hands around his neck. When Klay felt Eden rubbing against him he pulled back and said:
"If you want something tell me and I’ll give it to you. I would do anything for you."
Eden’s eyes flashed and he said with a slight blush:

Eden smiled and said:
"I wish I hadn’t gone through the heartaches I did but It made me the person I am today and this is why your feelings changed. They wouldn’t be one without the other."
Klay looked at his gentle smile and kissed him tenderly. What Eden is saying makes sense but it still makes him feel crappy to know that he did nothing to protect him. He pulled back and swore:
"You’ll never go through anything on your own anymore I promise."
Eden smiled. He knows that Gege feels guilty for not having his back and he didn’t go easy on him either. He just couldn’t help it that man is his and he should always be on his side. The only reason he didn’t kill him is that he knows he knew nothing of his family’s nefarious plan. But anyway it’s always fun to make Gege pay. Eden and Klay washed up and after getting ready they left for Luna’s birthday party.
