Chapter 2354: Chapter 2355: Do You Still Remember?

...

An Baobei sat next to An Jing as soon as she came downstairs.

Su Changyi, Su Chengyu, Ning Wenxian, Su Haoyu, and the three little ones were all in the living room. Everyone was already accustomed to Ning Zihan pursuing An Baobei, and they felt that An Baobei and Ning Zihan’s relationship was quite nuanced, but nobody mentioned it and continued with the family chatter.

Today happened to be Saturday, and neither Su Changyi nor Su Chengyu went to work, of course, spending time with their wives and children.

Now that An Baobei was downstairs, she chatted with An Jing and the others about family matters while helping care for Su Mo, Su Xing, and Su Tian, the three little ones.

Su Xing had a cold yesterday and was fussy all night, not sleeping at all. While An Jing and the others were chatting, Su Xing fell asleep in Su Changyi’s arms. Seeing his youngest daughter asleep, Su Changyi got up and gently carried her upstairs to sleep.

An Jing took Su Mo to be cared for by An Baobei and followed upstairs.

Entering the room, Su Changyi carefully placed Su Xing on the bed, and An Jing gently pulled up the quilt to cover Su Xing, both fearing they would wake their daughter, who was not yet two years old.

Due to the cold, even though she had taken medicine, now asleep, Su Xing was still uncomfortable, so she actually slept restlessly, her little brows furrowed, making An Jing and Su Changyi extremely distressed.

An Jing and Su Changyi didn’t speak, just sat by the bed watching over Su Xing.

Su Xing slept for nearly four hours before waking up. It wasn’t clear if she was well-rested or if the cold medicine had taken effect, but she seemed much better, naturally making An Jing and Su Changyi much more at ease.

An Jing and the others had already had lunch, but Su Xing had not eaten yet. An Jing fed her lunch, but since she was still unwell, she didn’t have much appetite, though she ate more than in the morning.

After Su Xing ate lunch, it was past one, and she was more energetic than in the morning. As soon as she finished eating, she sat on the bed and played puzzles with her brother Su Mo. Though they didn’t know how to build the puzzle yet, they grabbed the pieces and played with them enthusiastically.

Seeing Su Xing so energized and smiling, unlike her discomfort earlier, An Jing and Su Changyi were even more relieved.

The two stayed by the bed, tending to Su Mo and Su Xing while chatting idly.

During their chat, the conversation turned to Li Junlin and Li Wutong’s upcoming wedding on the 18th. An Jing shifted the topic with a smile, "She, too, is called Li Wutong. I once had a soldier named Li Wutong, the one who went to the cemetery to pay respects to me before. Do you remember her?"

Su Changyi, while supporting the little Su Mo climbing onto his lap, nodded: "I remember."

"I also recall that Wutong was from City A. Maybe this Li Wutong is the one I know." Speaking, An Jing sighed, "The Li family really has protected this only daughter very well, not exposing her at all. People only know she’s named Li Wutong and don’t even know what she looks like. Otherwise, I’d be able to tell if she’s the Li Wutong I know."

Su Changyi said, "If you want to confirm, I can send someone to take a picture of her for you to recognize."

An Jing shook her head and said, "It’s okay. Even if she’s the Li Wutong I know, it wouldn’t matter. I’m no longer the An Jing she knew." Her current identity is Lin Anjing.
