Chapter 40: 40: Your Reward Is Granted

They turned and stared at her, confused. "What do you mean? This is good meat and it’s right before our eyes."
"Exactly. We should act fast before we lose it," another explained.
Ash stared at Ayra and asked, "And what’s your reason?"
But Ayra said, "Let’s follow it instead."
At first they were skeptical. What if they lost it? What if it ran away? They were worried. But Ash seemed to trust Ayra enough to agree.
And so they all reluctantly agreed. Ayra tossed a stone at the deer and immediately the deer began leaving. They didn’t chase it actively, they followed it slowly behind the scenes for a while.
And to their surprise, the deer arrived at a greener pasture. The deer had moved through rigorous paths, passing down a cave and through strange woods. This left them confused as they followed, but they continued anyways until they arrived.
They were surprised at what they saw. More than enough animals to hunt moving freely. A lot of fruits and edibles around. This area seemed like a heaven hiding in this wild land. And these beastmen were speechless.
"This is.. I haven’t seen this place before..." One of them said.
"I don’t even think I’ve seen such a beautiful land like this.. a lot of food..." He smiled. "It really is a blessed land.."
Ayra folded her arms as she smiled. "Well, I guess the system can be reliable in these stuff."
Ash smiled as he stared at Ayra. "The female never ceases to amuse me.. you were even able to find this?"
Ayra shrugged. "I guess I’m that lucky."
Lord Ash gave out his instructions for them to proceed with their hunting. They went and hunted down some of the animals they could get their hands on - they were able to secure a lot of them.
And they also proceeded to gather enough edibles around the place. Enough food for them to survive in the long run.
One of the issues stopping the wild beastmen of the Netherwild from gathering more than enough food was mainly contaminated zones. The existence of wild monsters occupying spots meant for gathering food was a prominent problem. So they were rather grateful for Ayra as they were able to clear up this space and end the food hunting successfully with a decent amount of food.
They were soon done and headed out with what they could get their hands on. Food hunting was never over; it was a continuous process so they’d continue another day.
They soon made their way out of the contaminated zones and were back to safety, heading back with the food they had gathered. The beastmen proudly carrying bags of fruits, vegetables, edibles and meat which they had caught. It was a complete success.

Ayra sighed while they headed backwards. She was only halfway through and they were already done with today’s food hunting. They’ll have to part ways soon and she hasn’t accomplished the task.
She panicked, she had to think of something fast if she wanted to accomplish this task and gain the damn fertility reward!
"I have to say," Lord Ash said as they made their way back. "You really did contribute a lot today. So I guess I’m obliged to reward you for your contribution," he smiled as he stared at her. "So speak up, what reward would you like?"
Ayra blinked, staring at him.
Ayra immediately thought, "Think fast! Now’s the time! How could you possibly increase that damn affection level!"
She stared at him for a while as he tilted his head. "Nothing?" He nodded. "Okay if you don’t need anything I guess I’ll just bring you food.."
"No I don’t need that. I need something else," she said with a smile.
Ash tilted his head. "Is that so? Tell me then, what’s it that the female needs?"
"I want to spend the night at your place," she smiled.
"..."
"..."
The beastmen were all shocked at the bold request. Rai blinked while Commander Lynn kept his poker face while staring at them.
Ash smiled as he folded his arms. "This female is really something. Bold enough to demand spending the night at my place huh? What are you up to now?"
Ayra smiled. "Nothing. I just want my little one to get close to its father." She said running her hand through her stomach. "Isn’t that valid?"
Ash smiled as he slowly stared at her stomach. He approached and ran his hand through her stomach as well. "I guess you do have a point, I haven’t spent enough time with the little one..." He said smiling at her. "Okay sure. Granted. You’ll be spending the night with me."
Ayra smiled. Accomplished. She intended to find a way to increase his affection level when she gets there. At least staying in the same room would give her enough opportunities to increase it overtime. She would come up with some tricks or something.
They soon arrived at the tribe as all eyes fell on them, shocked.
They couldn’t remember the last time the men returned with such massive food stuff. Everyone was impressed as they stared at them returning. They instantly began celebrating at the success of the food hunting. At least they’d have something to eat.
Ayra smiled as she walked past the men celebrating. It was already evening so they had set up the fires, dancing around it and singing their odd songs around it. It was a melodic mess but Ayra still smiled at their enthusiasm.
The other beastmen left to keep the food stuff they got in the store room while Ayra followed Lord Ash. As she moved, she could feel herself getting hot within.
It was night and outside, so there should be fresh air around. So why was she feeling hot within?
She brushed the thought off as they arrived at Lord Ash’s wooden house.
"We shall be taking our leave," Commander Lynn said with a slight bow as he turned and walked off, taking Rai away.
Ayra watched him leave. "That brat, he’s not even going to acknowledge me or what? A simple goodbye too would do," she sighed as she shook her head.
"What are you doing out there? Let’s go in. It’s getting cold," Ash said as he made his way in. Ayra too followed behind. Cold? She couldn’t help but wonder why then she was feeling warm all around.
She was soon inside his room. Ayra casually looked at the ordinary looking room made of wood. It was ordinary but something elevated to this beastmen she guessed.
She sat down on the bed as she looked around, thinking of a smart way to increase this fox’s affection level.
But before she could even come up with anything, Ayra’s eyes looked ahead to see Lord Ash taking off the animal skin over his top body, exposing his bare chest.
Ayra paused. It was obvious he was undressing. "What are you doing...? Can’t you see I’m here? You could go undressing somewhere else..."
Lord Ash paused as he stared at her with a smile. "What? Why would I undress somewhere else if we’re going to do it here?"
"...?!"
"Huh?" Ayra was taken back. "Do what?"
Ash smiled as he slowly walked up to her, his bare chest gleaming through the fire light hung around. He leaned close to her, holding her chin in his hand as he stared into her eyes with a smirk. "Isn’t this the reward you want when you asked to spend the night with me? I know your tricks a bit too well," he scoffed. "So don’t worry, I’ll grant it all to you tonight."
A mischievous smile crossed his eyes as he stepped backwards and took off the loincloth around his waist. It fell down, leaving Ash bare and naked, standing before Ayra.
