Chapter 2903: Nature’s Demise III
The Five Royal Guard Myrmekes suddenly jumped in front of the Myrmekes Player as if they were spellbound. Levin Cloud thought that this was something that should not happen with races with strict hierarchy but the Myrmekes Player actually defied that common sense. He thought that there might be something different with this Myrmekes Player since her carapace is not the normal red or black color that the Myrmekes Player have after all.
The problem is that the Myrmekes Player is too clever and cunning as she immediately ran away as soon as she saw that her enhancement has expired. The only problem for her is that the Myrmekes are not the only ones in the area. The Shadow Vine Wraith Myrmekes that Levin Cloud summoned are all around them.
"Did you think that you would be able to escape?" Levin Cloud’s voice stated as the shadowy trees of the domain finally started to move.
The shadowy trees that looked like they are just there suddenly moved like they were living beings. All of them created hooks and claws using their branches as they reached out to the Myrmekes Player. The Myrmekes Player might be weakened as she lost her enhancement but she will never die here.
"I still have my domain! I will never be caught by an immobile player like him!" The Myrmekes Player thought as she pushed her wings to fly as fast as she can in order to reach the entrance of the colony.
The Myrmekes Player thought that she would be able to reach the entrance of the colony easily as any enemy that she encounters is blocked by the Myrmekes she commands. She has already taken great care of the Myrmekes Queen to the point that she even fed her with a forbidden fruit that makes the one that eat subservient.
It was very difficult for her at first since Myrmekes have hierarchy even though they are a very powerful race but she was a player. She made use of the game’s system to create favorable environments for herself. She would even kill or sacrifice other Myrmekes in order to advance her agenda.
She would have wanted to become the Myrmekes Queen but she cannot kill the queen yet. A being that has stepped into the realm of a Lesser God is not easy to defeat. Even getting the queen to become subservient to her is difficult already. She only became successful in getting the Myrmekes Queen to be subservient because of a god called Typhon.
The Myrmekes Queen might be subservient to her but she cannot fully control the queen herself. The Myrmekes Queen is still a Lesser God being that cannot be fully controlled by a being weaker than her. It is the reason why the Myrmekes Player needs the roots of the world tree as it has great life force that can advance any being to another tier.
The only reason that the Myrmekes Queen is subservient is due to the fact that the God Typhon is actively helping the Myrmekes Player but that help is about to expire in two months. The Myrmekes Player needed a way to become stronger and the world tree roots is what the God Typhon recommended. If it was only for herself then she might have stopped after a few days but the God Typhon demanded 70% of the harvests from her.
"That blasted god told me that the roots of the world tree is just one of the ingredients to increase myself to become a lesser god. I would not have trusted that thing if it is not actively helping me suppress the Myrmekes Queen." The Myrmekes Player thought as she cannot voice out her concern since the God Typhon is always watching her because of their contract.
"I will repay this humiliation tenfold, Levin Cloud!" The Myrmekes Player stated as she was about ten meters away from the entrance of the Myrmekes Colony when she looked back.
The Myrmekes Player looked back only to see that the being that drove her to this humiliation is no longer there. She knows that Levin Cloud should be rooted in place as she managed to peek through that thick death energy. The lower body of Levin Cloud’s transformation is clearly attached to the ground itself. This might be the restriction he has for suddenly reviving back to full health.
"Where is he? Where did he go?!" The Myrmekes Player thought but she needed to push that to the back of her mind because she was close to safety.
When the Myrmekes Player looked forward, she suddenly saw the large sinister form that Levin Cloud transformed into. At a distance, he looked like he is just made of decaying leaves, and dried wood but there were also numerous eyes hidden inside each socket of branch or twig. His form is the stuff of nightmares that the Myrmekes Player actually felt immense pressure just standing next to him.
"Did you think that you would be able to escape? Forest Burial!" Levin Cloud’s dark and gruffy voice stated as he activated his last skill.

-Destroy the Forest of Death domain and deal 20, 000% true damage to all that are inside of it.
-Damage is increased by 10% every 5 minutes remaining from the duration of the Forest of Death Domain.
-Can only be used if the Forest of Death Domain is active.

"NO! THIS CANNOT BE! I CANNOT LOSE TO SOMEONE WEAKER THAN ME!" The Myrmekes Player shouted as Levin Cloud already activated the domain’s destruction.
All of the shadowy trees inside of the domain suddenly became hands that gripped tightly to any living being inside of the domain. The domain then started to crumble and shrink in size as everything inside it is turned to dust. All of the Myrmekes inside were all being turned to dust as the entire forest is caving down on itself.
When the entire forest caved in and got destroyed, a black flower could be seen planted on the ground where the domain had been in. Everything inside of the domain got crushed to dust as the damage it dealt is basically true damage because a pure aura of death was used to create that domain.
"She still managed to escape though. I guess you should be tenacious if you can create operation this massive." Levin Cloud stated as he looked at the entrance of the Myrmekes Colony.

[You have temporarily increased your stats by 50% because of the number of living beings that were sacrificed in Forest Burial.]
Levin Cloud returned to his humanoid looking appearance with a great power boost. This was the hidden effect of the skill Forest Burial that he only learned accidentally when he tried it out. He literally entered a dungeon where monster waves were to test it out. He was about to step into the entrance of the Myrmekes Colony when a powerful pressure suddenly shot through his body.
"The Myrmekes Queen." Levin Cloud stated as this was a clear warning to not enter but he will not stand down with just this.
Just as Levin Cloud is about to enter the colony, the entrance of the colony suddenly virbrated as a powerful wave of energy twisted the dimension. The entrance to the Myrmekes Colony suddenly vanished as the entrance caved in. Levin Cloud knew that this was not a normal cave in but a deliberate escape for the Myrmekes Queen.
"They ran away. I guess I should tend to the world tree then." Levin Cloud stated as he communed with the world tree as he wants to help it fuse with the power it received from the mother tree in Alfheim.

"That bastard! I will tear him to pieces when I get my revenge!" The Myrmekes player stated as she crawled towards the place of the Myrmekes Queen.
The Myrmekes Player looked incredibly battered as her wings were clipped. Her lower body is basically nonexistent while she can only use two hands to drag herself forward. She overused her own life force to escape the domain that was being destroyed. The very domain that trapped and would have killed her if she did not do drastic measures.
"Oh my! You look quite pitiful, my child." The Myrmekes Queen stated as she is currently lying on a diamond bed.
"Shut up, hag! Heal me!" The Myrmekes Player stated as she can still command the Myrmekes Queen even if she is this injured.
"Such vulgar words but that is all you can do." The Myrmekes Queen stated as a stinger suddenly appeared from behind her and then pierced the heart of the Myrmekes Player.
"What is the meaning of this?!" The Myrmekes Player shouted as she felt that her control of the Myrmekes Queen is gone.
"Typhon has voided your contract. You are now my lunch." The Myrmekes Queen stated as her beautiful female face suddenly opened up into a large insect mouth to eat the Myrmekes Player.
