Chapter 513: Blasting The First Test!
Sebastian entered the inheritance ground cautiously with a lot of misgivings, but he encountered something entirely different from what he expected in here.

The soul remnant of the Black tier predator was already used to meeting predators from other races that when it finally met Sebastian, it glitched.
Originally, this was not supposed to happen but since the soul remnant already depreciated so much that it was now barely living, it froze for a dozen minutes as it tried to process everything that happened and react.

Just 10 minutes in, he already had partial control over the inheritance ground. Once the soul remnant dissipated, it delegated half of the authorities of the inheritance ground to Sebastian leaving only a few.
He would only access the rest after he completed the test of the Black tier Leviathon that he prepared for his ultimate inheritor.
Through the memories of the soul remnant, Sebastian learned that this inheritance ground itself was a magic gadget, precisely a magic tower.
Over 6 centuries ago when this Black tier Leviathon called Gorgon started building a name for himself, he had an encounter with another Black tier predator who was a legendary craftsman, the best of his era.
Gorgon made a deal with the legendary craftsman; he would provide him with the soul fragments of 10 Void Beasts in exchange for an ultimate defense magic gadget. The craftsman agreed and the deal was on.
The deal on Gorgon’s part was reckless but Gorgon was inherently reckless. He entered the dreaded Void Sea to go hunt for Void Beasts.
In the end, after spending 3 decades there, he succeeded in perfecting his abilities as a Black tier Leviathon and hunted 10 Void Beasts.
After coming out of the Void Sea, he gave all 10 Void Beasts to the legendary craftsman, and in exchange, the craftsman created the greatest magic gadget that he had ever made in his legendary career.
Gorgon provided the materials used and the legendary craftsman created the legendary defensive magic tower, the Tower of Sukkot.
This was a magic tower with defensive capabilities that alone could withstand the casual attacks of Black tier predators. When powered by Black tier mana, legends say that it could defend against the attacks of Sea Kings!
The legendary craftsman accrued a greater amount of fame and renown after this achievement, but he attributed most of his success to Gorgon.
To thank the Leviathon, the legendary craftsman offered to craft a magic armor for him. The magic armor that Gorgon became known for alongside his Tower of Sukkot was crafted by the legendary craftsman.
After his death, Gorgon left all these for his inheritor.
There were only 2 tests designed to be faced by the main inheritor. The first was the test of the elders, and coincidentally, Sebastian already completed this test with Trinidad being his mentor originally.
This meant that this test would be a work-over to him, and the reward for this test was the legendary armor of the mighty Leviathon, Gorgon.
As for the 2nd test, the details were covered with a veil of mystery. The only details that were released to him from the soul remnant’s memory were that if he succeeded in that too, his reward would be the legendary Tower of Sukkot.
After seeing the conditions that were laid and the rewards that were up for grabs, Sebastian instantly started drooling.
After 3 months of underwhelming performance in the Blood Wreckage, this inheritance ground was like the ultimate compensation plan that he needed.
Sebastian was determined to blast the 2 tests and get the mouth-watery rewards, he could not afford to lose either of the 2 rewards.
Sebastian felt motivation rising from the depths of his bones which easily translated to adrenaline through his blood as he rushed to the core of the inheritance ground where the first test was scheduled to commence.
The core of the inheritance ground was made in a hexagon shape. It was big enough to accommodate him, and as a master of space magic, enough space constructs were made here to accommodate the test.
Without any hesitation, Sebastian did all that was required to start the test of the elders as the test started the next moment.
As Sebastian expected, the test of the elders was the same as he expected, comprising of the swimming test, the battle test, and the realization test.
Once the swimming test started, having finished it before, Sebastian easily blended in as he blasted the test and came out with flying colors.
He finished it after just one try and progressed to the battle test. Unlike his battle test with Trinidad, Sebastian performed even more excellently here as instead of losing, he fought to a draw against all 4 of his Red tier opponents.
It was on getting to the last realization test that he met a bottleneck.
According to Trinidad, the realization test was all about knowing who you are and what you are capable of. When he did it the first time, Sebastian didn’t understand these words but now he completely understood them.
The realization test was all about knowing who he was, understanding who he was, and bringing out the best of himself.
After that moment of epiphany when he completely integrated with his body and completed the realization test set by Trinidad, Sebastian couldn’t quite get that feeling again as all his subsequent battles against Red tier predators ended in a draw or loss.
Now, Sebastian was hit with this bottleneck again and was presented with another platform for him to get that epiphany.
This time though, Sebastian wanted to get more from the epiphany. This test provided him with the best conditions to strive for an epiphany, but he wanted this to be his last. After this, he wanted to understand his body completely.
Once Sebastian set his goals straight, he went at them with a sigma male mentality. No matter how impossible it seemed, he believed that he could do it.
Sebastian fought and fought and fought till he got tired after his stamina was completely exhausted, but he did not give up, he continued with one-minded focus and an unwavering determination.
Sebastian fought so much that the realistic sensations from the pains of the injuries inflicted on him started affecting his concentration but he never gave up.
He kept on going till it seemed that he would faint, but that was when the epiphany came. Once again, Sebastian entered his zone where he looked at life from the lens of a Leviathon, he was at his best!
His opponent stood no chance, he killed the Red tier beast and completed the test. Another victory to him was that this time, Sebastian did well to ingrain this moment in his head so much that he could never forget it.
After such a long time since creating his ultimate war vessel, he finally mastered this body completely, Sebastian was ecstatic.
"Congratulations on completing the test of the elders!" A robotic voice spoke the next moment which Sebastian associated with the legendary Tower of Sukkot.
"You have been rewarded with the promised armor, but before accessing it, I have been programmed to commence the 2nd test for candidate".
