Chapter 498: A Short Visit To The Great White Kingdom.
After the truth of the world coming to an end became known to Sebastian, he could not help himself from thinking about the safety of those close to him.
Throughout his 8 months spent in Oceania, he had seen a lot of things but he only bonded deeply with 2 different groups which were Leroy and the members of his clan, and Old Mak and the old clan.
Leroy then was nothing but a half-baked orange tier predator, yet he was the strongest predator of the Leroy clan.
Old Mak’s clan was better as Old Mak being the strongest predator and protector was a powerful purple tier predator, still yet, when faced against the bigger picture, Old Mak and Leroy were nothing more than cannon fodder.
When Sebastian learned of the misfortune that befell the Leroy clan, he was sad but this only verified his conjecture that Leroy and the others were cannon fodder. They were just too weak to influence the bigger picture.
Despite their weakness though, they were the few categories of beasts that Sebastian had a bond with and cared about in Oceania.
He didn’t want these beasts to die after being engulfed by the storm of the great revolution that would soon follow the Orca Revolution, he already regretted the Leroy clan’s tragedy, he didn’t want to regret it anymore.
This was the reason why he vowed to do his best to protect the remaining beasts that he cared about.
Protecting them was not easy though, the revolution that would soon engulf all of Oceania would be at such a scale that no 1 predator can interfere in it unless that predator was the Ocean Master of course.
Before he fulfilled his dream of becoming the Ocean Master, Sebastian did not believe that he could take care of those he cared for alone, this was the reason why he decided to teach them how to take care of themselves.
A famous quote said that give a student a fish and you’ll feed him for that hour of the day, but teach him how to fish and you’ll feed him for a lifetime.
This was Sebastian’s plan, he wanted to use any means available to him to power level those that he cared about and make them independent.
This was a daunting task but Sebastian believed that he could do it by taking 1 step at a time. He had been looking for this 1 step, but it was his encounter with the legendary Veiled Healer that gave him a direction to follow.
Queen Heareth was the first beast that was going to benefit from his plans.
Before Trinidad took Sebastian through the teleportation portal, Sebastian changed his mind and went back to take Strong along.
Together, the 3 of them left the Dungeon of Souls.
Bzzz!
Traveling through such an advanced teleportation portal that was created by his senior presented Sebastian with a familiar but vaguely exotic feeling.
This time was not as turbulent and uncomfortable as when he traveled through the inter-border teleportation portal of the Demon Inter-racial bounty organization, he felt like when he traveled on a rowing boat for the first time.
It only happened for an instant though, when his eyes regained focus a few seconds later, he was back in the familiar Great Sea where he reincarnated.
On arriving back at the Green Mist Sea, Sebastian did not spend any unnecessary time admiring his surroundings as he gave directions to his senior which his senior followed as they were taken away at an amazing speed.
Just a few dozen minutes later, they arrived at the part of the Green Mist Sea where the Great White Kingdom was located.
On arriving here, Sebastian saw that everything was still the same. The Orca Revolution was still going on steadily, the Great White Kingdom was still the overlord of their territory and they were still helping other Great White Sharks.
And most especially, the Firelight Shark Clan was still the same as when they left. The only major differences were the new sharks who joined the clan.
Being the very first and most popular sub-clan of the Great White Kingdom, the Firelight Shark Clan was experiencing a period of speedy growth under Tungsten’s leadership, everything was in order.
As Sebastian didn’t come in his Megalodon body, the patriarch of the Great White Kingdom was unable to detect the intruders due to Trinidad’s presence.
Silently, the 2 Leviathons and Great White Shark infiltrated the new territory of the Firelight Shark Clan.
After entering inside, Trinidad captured and brought both Tungsten and Queen Heareth into the isolated space pocket that he created.
Queen Heareth was attending to the baby sharks in the pen when she was captured and taken away, while Tungsten was attending to some administrative duties. They were both shocked but they relaxed on seeing Sebastian and Strong.
They recognized Sebastian’s ultimate war vessel and knew that this was him.
Trinidad was nowhere to be seen, which made them relax more. Despite this, they were both still shocked and wary as Tungsten asked carefully.
"Sebastian, Strong, what brought the both of you back?"
"Did something happen?" Queen Heareth already showed concern on her face as she looked harder to try to get clues from the sharks’ expressions.
Sebastian took a deep imaginary breath before answering, he had no intentions to beat around the bush. "Everything is okay back in the Dungeon of Souls, and the army already constructed its first official military base".
"The reason why I came back is that I encountered a once in a lifetime opportunity for you". Sebastian looked at the Queen to emphasize his point.
"Me?"
"Yes, if everything goes well, I may have potentially found you a teacher who would teach you how to maximize the potential of your magic domain".
A few months ago, if Sebastian said this, Queen Heareth would have looked down at the younger shark and chuckled but Sebastian’s current Leviathon body did not leave her the leisure to be so casual.
And besides, Sebastian’s accomplishments throughout the past few months were already so astonishing that she was obligated to respect this young shark.
Queen Heareth took some time to calm her already rapidly beating heart before she asked. "A teacher?"
"Yes, a teacher". Sebastian confirmed before explaining everything.
When Tungsten and Queen Heareth heard about everything, they were both astonished and once again amazed by the heaven-defying luck that Sebastian had.
Who was so lucky that just going out into a new Great Sea would enable him/her to meet an elderly figure of his new living doppelganger bloodline? The odds of this happening were too small which only made them respect him more.
Of course, after Sebastian told her everything, he made sure to tell her that time was not on their side which made the Queen start rapidly thinking.
She thought of her old mate, she thought of the new clan, she thought of the pen and how she was supposed to be its head, and then she thought of this new opportunity that she’s been craving since the day that she got her magic domain.
Even for her, she had ambitions and goals that she wanted to fulfill.
In the end, she didn’t need to think too much before she answered. "I’ll go".
Once Queen Heareth agreed, everything was settled. While Strong went to supervise the works of the 2 new Commanders, Tosh and Verni, Queen Heareth went to elect a new head of the pen, while Sebastian left to meet his father.
In just a few minutes, they were done with all these and again, they met Trinidad who teleported all of them back to the Dungeon of Souls.
Bzzz!
They were back as quickly as they came.
