Chapter 492: The Epic Showdown Between Overlords!

Even the new power in the region, the Sebastian Warriors Army was alarmed as they employed more extensive measures to bolster the defense of their base.
They all didn’t know what was happening, but their instincts told them that something big was about to happen.
By the end of the day, the power paradigm of the Nightmare Forest was about to change if everything went on smoothly.
They all holed themselves up and waited for it to happen.

At a remote part of the Nightmare Forest, Big Daddy’s lair.
The Nightmare Forest in the Dungeon of Souls was named so because of the huge forest filled with long gloomy green and brown trees that formed this ecosystem, and the always dim glow that reached there.
Compared to other parts of the Dungeon of Souls, the primordial origin glow here was dimmer and was one of the main reasons why there was Nightmare in the name. Another reason was because of its very first overlord.
The first overlord of the Nightmare Forest was a powerful Red tier shadow domain predator, an underwater Night Raskshasha called Deman.
He named the forest the Nightmare Forest and ruled over it for centuries.
Big Daddy’s lair unlike the lair of the mighty Meatgrinder was located in the former territory of Deman, so every beast in this region knew it.
Big Daddy’s lair was located at the very center of the Nightmare Forest.
At this moment, at the very center of the Nightmare Forest, on top of the legendary mutated tree called the Nightmare Tree, a group of Thresher Whales, Big Daddy’s family felt the sudden change.
Unlike Trinidad, rumors said that Big Daddy already lived for more than a millennium and in this time, he already found about a dozen members of his race.
At this moment, 8 Thresher Sharks formed Big Daddy’s family.
"Lord Father, something is wrong". A distressed Thresher Shark sought the father out at his throne at the very depths of the Nightmare Tree due to all that was happening.

Once he heard that sacred term ’He’ from the Lord Father’s mouth, the younger Thresher Shark was alarmed as he left immediately to gather all the others so they could hide in the shadow defense domain.
Once they hid, the Nightmare Forest also quieted down.
Big Daddy silently waited for the Leviathon to appear and Trinidad did not disappoint. 30 minutes later, 2 Leviathons appeared.
Big Daddy swept a glance at the younger Leviathon before focusing back on his rival as he chuckled. "Did you bring him to die?"
Once the eyes of these 2 pinnacle predators clashed, it was like a clash of titans as Sebastian felt his consciousness shaking at the sudden pressure.
Trinidad did not reply to his rival’s question, rather he also chuckled. "You are still a Red tier predator? I thought that by now you would have evolved".
Big Daddy went silent for a moment before he chuckled. "I have to admit that every time you say this, it indeed pains me but I’ve lived above it".
"Like I always say and will always say, I already exhausted my potential".
"It doesn’t stop me from beating you though". Big Daddy laughed.
"Enough of the talk!" Trinidad’s voice suddenly deepened.
"I concur!" Big Daddy laughed again but laced within his voice was seriousness as he got prepared to fight to the death.

Coming to the center of the Nightmare Forest, Sebastian was fascinated by the sight but remembering his senior’s warnings, he did not dare to admire anything as all his attention was on the massive Thresher Whale.
Once Trinidad and Big Daddy finished their brief psychological warfare, Sebastian obeyed his senior’s plans to the letter as he activated his defense skill.
While activating this already, his body was still tense as he got prepared to react to any sudden danger the next moment.
Big Daddy and Trinidad stared each other down intensely for seconds before they finally moved, Big Daddy moved first.

Everything happened in the blink of an eye, one moment, Big Daddy was still staring down his rival, and the next, he was gone like the wind.
Sebastian tried to focus on the previous location of his opponent but his blood froze when his combined super sensing discovered a familiar large silhouette appearing beside him.
He turned and his eyes clashed with the mighty Thresher Whale, then Big Daddy’s eyes briefly glowed golden.

Sebastian’s eyes stared ahead while his body remained unmoved as dread appeared in his eyes. He struggled but nothing happened, he gave mental commands but his system did not respond, Big Daddy got him completely.
Despite the dangerous situation that he was in, Sebastian did not despair. Big Daddy got him completely, but he failed to account for someone else.
[Goldie has activated skill: Mana Manipulation!]
After laying dormant since Goldie finally struck!
Once Goldie struck, everything mana related in this region seemed to fall under the control of this Celestial Beast who was a beast formed from mana itself.
The next moment, the mana that Big Daddy infused into activating his Golden Killer Eyes skill was manipulated by the celestial beast as the effects of the skill were reduced by more than 40%.
Goldie was not done though, Big Daddy was still closing into his master rapidly and a few nanoseconds from now, he would get his master rough and hard.

This was what did it.
Once Goldie activated this skill, the mana in this region stirred as they all converged to form an incorporeal rainbow-colored mana bridge.
Once the bridge formed completely, Sebastian rode through the bridge far away from here in the blink of an eye while never moving his body.
Everything that just transpired did so in less than a second, and Goldie did not come out of Sebastian’s head once either, Big Daddy was stunned. He was only stunned briefly before his eyes widened in realization.
"A Celestial Beast..."
He could not finish before his real opponent finally arrived.
"Still as despicable, shameless, and cunning as ever".
Trinidad activated his Death Grip skill from the onset as he trapped his more massive opponent, then he looked him in the eye before opening his mouth wide to unleash a mighty Atomic Breath.
He also activated his Death Sentence skill!
