Chapter 490: Sebastian Vs The Jade-Toothed Fish!

Sebastian read about Jade-Toothed Fish during his stint in the Anemone Domain when he had access to the library that was originally exclusive to the head anatomist, Doctor Craban.

This was another extremely bizarre species of fish that was in the rarer spectrum of fish with an above-average bloodline for destruction.

They were born with natural jaws that were bigger than the other parts of their body. This was not their most prominent feature though; their most prominent feature was their jade teeth.

The Jade teeth of this fish werewere their most prominent feature. Teeth that werewere so big that the mouth had to stay open to contain them were no friendly stuff.

Legends say that the teeth of Jade-Toothed Fish could bite through anything, even through the unbreachable barriers that led to the next planetary dimension.

A Red tier version of this fish was a horror to face to any predator. Since most of its body was composed of teeth and jaws, the rest part of its body was extremely small and this small part was well protected by a huge magic armor.

Pairing this armor with its already sturdy skin with above-par defense presented the Jade-Toothed Fish as a package with terrifying offensive prowess and an admirable defensive cover.

The Jade-Toothed Fish was the real deal and was Sebastian’s last opponent to face in this realization battle test, he was not deterred though.

After coming to the realization that he was a Leviathon, Sebastian’s mind experienced such a huge mentality shift that it was frightening.

Space Beasts were inherently proud beasts. Having a pinnacle bloodline was something to be proud of, and every one of them was proud of it, Sebastian tried to temper this pride before which hampered his growth.

Now, he embraced this pride and harnessed the power that it brought.

It was now that Sebastian realized how much of his war vessel’s potential he was not making use of before, he underestimated the complexity before.

Inherently, Sebastian’s soul was still human. Having lived almost 3 decades on earth as a human, Sebastian’s mentality was still mostly human in nature despite living over 8 months in Oceania as a shark already.

This was the reason why after he created his first doppelganger, he easily adapted to it since he was so familiar with living in a humanoid body.

As for a Leviathon though, this was his first time living as a Leviathon. He didn’t know their culture, he just admired them, and that was the reason why he wanted one of them to be his ultimate war vessel.

Due to all the advantages that he already had which made him stronger than most predators already, and due to his encounter in Manapedia which increased his basic stats further, he didn’t notice it at first.

He was so much stronger than predators of his tier that he felt that he was perfectly utilizing his living doppelganger already, this was until he met Trinidad, a senior Leviathon who pointed out all his mistakes to him.

Now, Sebastian knew his mistakes and already started working on remedying them. After the realization came the actual repair.

The repair was tedious but Sebastian believed that he could do it by fighting this Jade-Toothed fish. To make decisions like a Leviathon, to get their instincts after the realization, the best way to do it was through battle.

[You have activated skill: Supersonic Speed!]

[You have activated skill: Domineering King Kong Physique!]

[You have activated skill: Space Slash!]

[You have activated skill: Breath of the Sound Megalodon!]

Sebastian sought to learn the instincts of a sound domain Leviathon!

Boom!

Both predators collided, and the fight of the decade in this region started!

The Jade-Toothed Fish was a fish with astounding lethal prowess but his battle style was monotonic, all he knew and was imprinted in his instincts were to just keep on biting at his prey till he got it under his jaws.

Snap! Snap!

The jade teeth of the mighty fish kept on clapping together in a dangerous manner like a pair of scissors snapping rapidly through a piece of cloth.

The Jade-Toothed Fish was a messy fighter.

The water quickly turned muddled as the battlefield started stretching across a long distance. The Fish cared about nothing else but to keep on biting, hoping against hope that one of its lethal bites finishes off the Leviathon.

Snap!

[You have suffered staggering damage from your opponent!]

Sebastian groaned in pain as the mighty rows of teeth sank into his flesh but he gritted his teeth and endured it all as he continued his realization journey.

Despite all the hidden trump cards that he had in store but had not made use of yet to fight the fish, and even though he was currently struggling against the fish, Sebastian never gave up on the fight.

He kept fighting amid his injuries, giving his all to learn the Leviathon way.

With every bite to his skin, his mentality changed more, with every pain that stimulated his brain, his instincts became more finetuned the Leviathon way.

No pain, no gain!

It was slow at first, but as the pain increased and as the Jade-Toothed Fish inflicted more injuries to his body, Sebastian felt a strength that he didn’t know was there before surging through his body, burning in his bones like fire.

With time, even amid the pain, his will to fight burned brighter.

Sebastian finally knew why the purple tier Leviathon that he met in the Ocean volcano never relented even while being trashed by Captain Omega.

The reason was simple, Leviathons simply never gave up!

"I never give up..." Sebastian muttered then he roared. "We never give up!"

Once he generalized it, he felt another shift in his mentality like he was finally accepted into the community of Leviathons as strength exploded in his body.

BOOM!

Sebastian seemed to turn into an entirely different monster!

He seemed to have finally broken the shackles that were holding him back from using his bloodline to the fullest, he was unleashed!

[You have activated skill: Atomic Breath!]

Boom! Boom! Boom!

As the Atomic Breath dealt terrible damage to the Jade-Toothed Fish, Sebastian personally entered the fray as he dealt even more damage to the fish through his massive body and his plethora of lethal attacks.

As he fought, he digested some strategies that he got from the mental library, the 3 basic battle strategies of the Domineering Warlord skillset style.

The Ocean King being the founder of the Domineering Warlord skillset style created the 3 battle strategies. The first strategy was the combined use of the Domineering King Kong Physique skill and the Space Slash to devastating effect.

When used together repeatedly, these 2 skills dealt more damage with time.

The 2nd strategy was the combined use of the Death Grip and the Domineering King Kong Physique, while the last was the combined use of the Death Grip and the Atomic Breath which was the strongest combination of all.

The Ocean King named the last combination the Death Sentence!

Now, Sebastian rotated between these 3 strategies with such fluidity that surpassed that of a well-oiled machine as he dealt damage to this fish.

Sebastian was so extravagant with it that despite the mana expenditures of these skills, his mana never got expended and this was all because of Goldie.

He was literally the only Leviathon in existence who could be so extravagant, and this extravagance birthed power from a purple tier predator that had never been seen in the long history of Oceania.

Sebastian reversed the tides as he began to trash the Jade-Toothed Fish while giving it no room to escape.

He continued this for half an hour before he dealt the death blow.

[You have activated skill: Death Grip!]

[You have activated skill: Atomic Breath!]

[You have activated combination skill: Death Sentence!]

BOOM!

The Jade-Toothed Fish was already expended, he stood no chance before this last attack as his brain was blown into oblivion.

[Congratulations! You have killed a Red tier mutated Jade-Toothed Fish...]

Sebastian didn’t pay attention to his system notification; all his attention was on the dead beast before him and the history that he just made.

Sebastian became the only purple tier predator in the rich history of Oceania to achieve the legendary feat of killing a Red tier predator in a fair fight!
