Chapter 474: The Dungeon Of Souls!
After 8 months spent in the Green Mist Sea, Sebastian was finally about to leave this Great Sea to further his ambitions in this world.
He felt surreal, everything still felt like a dream to him.
Sebastian remembered 8 months ago when he was still struggling to survive an encounter against a white tier Blue Tang fish, he was really pathetic then.
He remembered his journey as he slowly rose to the purple tier realm. He remembered all the memorable encounters, all the unforgettable battle encounters, and the friends and enemies that he made along the way.
He remembered when he just met Eliana, he remembered how he felt and how he later felt after she revealed the truth about this world to him.
He remembered when he finalized his decision to go to the Dungeon of Souls, he always had this insecurity that his strength then was not enough but now, he was a whole new beast than he was a few weeks ago.
After the encounters with the Mana Lord and the Great White Kingdom, though he did not evolve in this time, his strength grew so much that it was almost unbelievable.
He was a purple-tier predator who could fight toe to toe against weaker Red-tier predators. That was not the most terrifying element though, the most terrifying element was that he achieved all these in just 8 months.
Though he still had a long way to go before reaching the very pinnacle of evolution, Sebastian’s story was already a legend!
An 8-month-old purple tier predator who could fight Red tier predators was unheard of in the rich history of Oceania!
The Great inter-border teleportation portal was far bigger than any portal that Sebastian had seen since transmigrating into this world.
This blue portal was approximately 50 meters big which was astonishing!
It was built in a circular shape, and it constantly rotated in its axis like it was under the influence of some hidden magic power.
Though 50 meters was big, it was not big enough to accommodate the massive warships but Sebastian didn’t have to worry since his new subordinate, Devon Kings already explained the working mechanism of the portal to him.
Once he became his subordinate, Master Red Mask no longer carried himself with the prestige that he was used to as he told his real name to his new master.
His name was Devon, but Sebastian casually added Kings to it.
According to Devon Kings, the teleportation portal didn’t need to be as big as the object of teleportation.
The mechanisms used in the creation of the portal were mostly space magic, and the term size in space magic had a lot of explanations.
Once any part of the warship touched the teleportation portal, they would be sucked inside thereby negating the overall size of the warship.
As the leader of this expedition between Great Seas to the Dungeon of Souls, Sebastian was the one expected to go through the teleportation portal first but he didn’t go as he turned to face some of his companions one last time.
After knowing that he was ready to leave, Eliana teleported here alongside Tungsten, Verni, Tosh, and Queen Heareth.
Though now, she got to spend time every day with his Atlantian body, there was a feel to being around the main body that Eliana loved.
This was the main reason why she came to personally send him off. The others followed her to do the same thing, though they mostly focused on Strong, they were like parents who were about to part ways with their eldest son.
Sebastian turned to look at Eliana and laughed. "I’ll be fine".
"I know".
"I’ll probably break so many grounds that I’ll become a legend there too".
"I know".
"I’ll make the most use of my time there to train and develop. Don’t worry, before 2 years, I’ll be the strongest predator in Oceania".
"I know, I know!" Eliana laughed before swimming closer to him.
She placed her clownfish body against Sebastian’s snout for about a minute while closing her eyes to keep her emotions in check. When she opened her eyes again, she smiled and gestured for him to go.
"Go teach them who’s boss!"
"I will!"
With that, Sebastian turned and dived into the glowing teleportation portal.
Once the leader entered, the 12 warships did not linger any further as they all revved their powerful engines before following.
Bzzz!
The glow of the teleportation portal spiked for a moment before residing the next. When everything calmed down, the Sebastian Warriors Army was already sucked in, they were gone.
...
"Ouch!"
Sebastian grimaced as he tried to make his eyes adapt to his surroundings.
Though he already expected this after receiving tutorship from Devon Kings, he was still caught off guard by it.
Traveling through an inter-border teleportation portal was not going to be a straightforward task from the onset.
Traveling through the teleportation portal, Sebastian could only describe the experience as extremely weird.
All his eyes could see was a world of different colors, spinning randomly and keeping him constantly dizzy. These were the effects on his eyes, the effects on his body were the real deal that killed him.
Sebastian was suffocating!
Traveling inside the teleportation portal felt to him like he was trapped between the ample bosoms of a thousand busty women. These weapons of mass destruction were what almost suffocated him to death.
If these weapons were stationary, the effects would be manageable if not even enjoyable, but they kept bouncing, turning him constantly like he was stuck inside a f*cking washing machine.
"F*ck!"
"Did that Devon Kings scam me?"
As Sebastian kept on cursing while feeling that his head would blow up from all the activity, it suddenly all ended.
Poof!
Sebastian was pushed out of the teleportation portal like gas.
He could not recover from his dizziness on time as he was flung away casually until he hit what felt like a massive boulder.
"Ouch!"
Sebastian still felt some pains but he soon jolted awake as the terrible sensation of traveling through the teleportation portal already disappeared.
And this sensation disappearing meant that he finally arrived.
[You have activated skill: Combined Super Sensing!]
Once Sebastian activated this skill, he was finally able to shrug off the effects of his current dizzy state as he observed his surroundings.
Poof! Poof! Poof!
While he observed in awe, his warships slowly arrived out of nowhere.
For the first time in his life since transmigrating into Oceania, Sebastian was exposed to an environment that was so different from the Green Mist Sea that he was already used to.
Surprisingly, the primordial origin glow of this Great Sea was green too.
The main difference was that while the glow of the Green Mist Sea was a light harmonious green, this was a dark gloomy green.
At this moment though, Sebastian discovered that the atmosphere was not right. There were cracks in the water sky, the gloomy green glow seemed to be leaking as it pervaded the water, making it turn muddy.
As Sebastian looked, he occasionally saw bright flashes of lights erupting from different distances like the world here was coming to an end.
Sebastian was awed. "So, this is the Dungeon of Souls!"
