Chapter 441: Eliana’s Confession.

A few kilometers away from the stealth warship, 2 silhouettes appeared.
One moment, Sebastian was still astonished by the fact that he literally brought his crush back to life, while he was already being mesmerized by the sight, the next moment, he was out here in the water, he was shocked.
"What the heck just happened?"
"Shhh!"
Eliana rapidly swam to the mouth of the mighty Megalodon, crossing her delicate fingers towards his mouth to indicate what she meant.
Despite getting her hint and keeping quiet already, Sebastian still wanted to know what this was all about as he gave her a questioning look.
Eliana chuckled at his antics. "Let’s escape first and we’ll speak later".
Eliana’s movements at first were shaky and weird, just like some Atlantians back in the Sea King Inheritance when they were tasked to adapt to living life as another organism, the main difference was that Eliana was different from them.
Having lived life back on earth as a human, acclimatizing to Atlantian body physique was as easy as eating pie to her.
She spent only about 2 minutes before she entered her domain, her movements became a lot more fluent and as smooth as flowing water as she turned into the deadly Eliana again.
Once she was set, Eliana grabbed Sebastian and escaped.

The sight of such a delicate Atlantian lady grabbing such a mighty Megalodon with one hand and dragging him away like he was a rag was astonishing.
Eliana did not look back as she dragged Sebastian away at full speed. For the first time, Sebastian was exposed to a speed that he never thought was possible before he saw Eliana making use of such outrageous speed.
He even thought for a moment that Eliana’s speed broke the sound barrier.
In just a few seconds, both of them disappeared into the distance.
The lone warship on stealth kept on free-floating into the distance.

With Eliana’s outrageous speed, in just a few seconds, they swam so far away from the location of the warship that their positions now felt like 2 opposite pole points of Oceania.
After pulling such distance between them, Eliana finally stopped.
Sebastian was left feeling dizzy after the rollercoaster ride. Once he finally recovered, he voiced his indignance as he felt like he was being carried like a child.
"Eliana, what the hell is happening?"
Eliana smiled. "We’re going on a vacation".
"I thought we were going on the warship..." As Sebastian spoke, the realization of what Eliana did finally dawn on him. "You ran?"
"Yeah, those 4 shameless clownfish are such clingy elders".
Having gotten used to speaking to Clownfish Eliana already, suddenly being brought back to speaking with human-shaped Eliana left Sebastian feeling nervous.
Damn, he always felt nervous around her back on earth too, he felt like crying. Eliana didn’t listen nor did she notice his predicament, she was so preoccupied with the joy of getting an Atlantian body that she barely noticed.
"Bring out your Atlantian body!" She suddenly demanded.
Sebastian was stunned but he instinctively reacted. Once his Atlantian body came out, Eliana moved as fast as lightning, slapping his Megalodon body with her right palm as a white phantom seemed to invade his body.

Instantly, Sebastian felt like his soul was experiencing a reboot. His consciousness went blank for a few seconds, and when he recovered, his soul woke up in his Atlantian body while his main body lay lifelessly at the side.
Sebastian was shocked. "What did you do?"
"Nothing, I just liberated your soul so you can access only 1 body at a time. Don’t worry, I was only able to create this skill because I have the clown unique skill and because you told me everything about the doppelganger unique skill".
Hearing that, Sebastian was relieved though he still felt shocked.
Facing Sebastian’s Atlantian body, Eliana finally felt in her element. She always felt weird facing a Megalodon Sebastian, facing a Sebastian with the same physique like hers, she was finally able to feel casual again.
"Actually, my 2nd master is 1 of the 2 Black tier predators of the Clown Empire. He imposed a stupid rule where those 4 old geezers would have to follow me everywhere, and he claimed it was all for my security".
"Trying to claim righteousness at the end is the most annoying fact!" She spat indignantly as she exaggerated her happiness at escaping more.
"So, what did you do?" At this point, Sebastian already calmed down a bit.
"What else did you expect? Though I already knew that you were not lying about your new transformation ability, I was still left astonished after experiencing it. Once I recovered though, I followed my plan and took action".
"I instantly created an illusion to place 2 extremely realistic fake bodies there, then I used a magic gadget to teleport us out of the warship".
"After that followed everything that I did, now here we are".
"So, what is your plan?"
At this moment, Sebastian already noticed the change.
Perhaps, it was because she finally left the company of the clownfish where she had to feel and behave like a dignified Queen always, but Eliana at this moment was too cute and casual that she resembled the old Eliana more.
Sebastian felt that everything already aligned, this was the Eliana that he knew, this was the Eliana that just looking at her face made his day some time ago.
"My plan?" Eliana smiled awkwardly which was the first since Sebastian saw her in Oceania as she seemed to be looking for confidence.
"Yes, your plan". Sebastian replied.
Eliana closed her eyes, leaned closer, then she whispered into Sebastian’s ear. "I love you".

Sebastian’s brain seemed to short circuit for a few seconds to a minute as each time he tried to replay what he just heard left his brain crashing.
"Umm, did you just say you..."
"Yes!" Eliana finally found the confidence that she sought after spilling it. "I love you, Sebastian, I’ve always did!"
"I’ve loved you since the first day that I was transferred to the Green Top Hospital, the only reason I never confessed was the sense of inferiority that I felt".
"Then, you were the boss, towering so high above everyone else".
"You earned more than I did, you had more academic qualifications than I do, you were the better anatomist, you were better than me in every sense, and this was the reason why I never found the courage to tell you".
"Do you know how agonized I felt going back home from work every day without telling you? Sometimes, I almost decided to quit work to not see you again, you were like a daily attraction that I could never get my hands-on".
"Now, I think I know the reason why I was reincarnated".
"Reincarnation turned the tides, giving me the courage that I needed. In here, I am better than you in every facet, I believe in myself, Sebastian".
"This is why I’m going to say it again, I love you, Sebastian!"

Sebastian was so stunned that he was speechless. Though he already heard from Eliana once that she had a crush on him, he never expected it to be so strong that it was probably more obsessive than the love he had for her.
The most ironic part of this was that he failed to confess his feelings to her due to entirely different reasons that he felt were rational then.
He never got the courage to confess his love to Eliana all because he felt that he was a weirdo. Being called the crazy dissector, he felt proud but this proudness didn’t extend to give him the courage to face his crush.
"Damn, what the hell was wrong with me then?"
All Sebastian’s thoughts went on silently in his mind, and this extended for over a minute. He lost perception of time, but Eliana who was now so sensitive about it felt hurt as she had never felt before.
She actually lied when she said that reincarnating and being the better one now gave her the courage to confess her love to him.
When she confessed, her heart was beating so rapidly that she almost fainted. A million thoughts ran through her mind at the same time.
One of these thoughts was that Sebastian’s silence meant that her love was not reciprocated, that this was a one-sided love.
Just the thought of this crushed her heart.
Her hands shook but she still bit her lips and held Sebastian’s hand as she looked into his eyes. Though the water washed it away, it was already evident that in a dry environment, tears would have already been trooping down her eyes.
"Y-you don’t love me?" Eliana sobbed. "Tell me what you don’t like about me, I promise that I’ll try to change, Sebastian, please, I’m ready to do anything..."
As Eliana rambled on, Sebastian was stunned as he finally understood what she was thinking. Seeing her like this, Sebastian felt like a lance was driven through his heart, he felt hurt seeing Eliana like this.
He didn’t know what to say, so he responded with his actions.
Sebastian drew Eliana closer and kissed her.
As a weirdo, he was so bad with girls that this was his first kiss. Despite this being the case, he watched enough movies to know how it was done.
Once their lips connected, they both lost themselves in it.
"I love you, Eliana".
