Chapter 977: Chapter 977: Fond of Gossip_1

Hannah sat in front of the mirror, picking up a comb to untangle her long hair, "Where did you hear about these things again?"

"From the live stream, of course." Ginny climbed onto the table, looking at Hannah in the mirror, "Oh right, my dear host, you might not know yet, but the Nine Realms Kingdom has refused to help the imperial family of the stars, and now the royal family is really unfortunate."

The royal family, which had been on the decline for many years, had barely managed to keep other powers at bay with the support of Commander of Stellar Wayne Lane, and now with Wayne Lane unconscious, it was fair to say there was no one to guard the palace.

At this point, the Nine Realms Kingdom and the Wastelands would be doing well not to kick them when they’re down, so why would they possibly offer help?

Not to mention anything else, just the incidents of shaving heads and stealing underwear were enough to show how incompetent the current royal family was.

Ginny turned around, stretched out her hand to hook onto the strap of Hannah’s nightgown, trying once and then again when it didn’t work.

Hannah didn’t bother with it and just put down her comb, smiling, "You seem very happy about this, weren’t you a die-hard fan of the royals before?"

Ginny’s face reddened, scratching her head, "That was before, and ever since I learned what kind of person the first princess was, I’ve had a complete change of heart, resolutely unfanning!"

Of course, what mattered most was that with the royal family having problems, nobody was going to mind whether they escaped or not.

The thought made her happy.

Now she could play hide and seek with Louis Snyder again!

Hannah looked at her, reaching out to ruffle that fuzzy head, "You know quite a lot."

"Of course, I do." Ginny said with pride.

Since the major live stream had gone offline, she had found a new hobby—gossip!

With the war approaching and the live stream long gone, Ginny was clever; she had secretly added a few faithful viewers from the previous streams.

Among them, "Honey-Coated Knife" and "Commander’s Ex-Wife" knew the most information, and Ginny had not been shy about prying news from their mouths.

Even the matter of the king’s underwear being stolen was something they had told her.

Ginny slept exceptionally sweet that night, probably because the concerns that she had always been worried about were resolved. She slept with a smile on her face and even snored without restraint.

Hannah, however, sat on the sofa the whole time, quietly watching the snowflakes falling outside the window.

This time, beset by enemies on all sides, the royal family would have no one to don their battle gear and fend off the invaders in their time of crisis.

It wasn’t until the snow began to lighten and the sky showed the first light of dawn that she realized she had sat there quietly all night.

Last night’s snowfall meant that Jack Stewart had to get up early to arrange for the film crew’s staff to clear the accumulated snow from the roads.

Starting early, everyone was lacking energy, and the set was unusually quiet.

Hannah, having not slept all night, decided to come to the set early as well, just sitting aside watching people clearing the snow, occasionally cracking a joke with someone.

Her laughter was melodious, gentle like a breeze, lightly touching people’s ears, making them tingle.

Today, the scene only featured Hannah, while Hayes Edwards had accepted a group notice to make a cameo appearance on a variety show, and Louis Snyder was taken away early in the morning.

Oddly enough, it wasn’t an agent or assistant who came for him but an especially handsome and distinguished young man, with a scholarly demeanor.

However, by his dress and appearance, he looked like a young master from a wealthy family. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚

Probably because they had become more familiar with Hannah over their time together, when it came to discussing gossip, everyone was especially casual.

Jackie Qualls stood under a tree, not going over to disturb, but quietly watching the person’s side profile that appeared even more delicate and fair in the sunlight.
