Chapter 882: Chapter 882: Meeting Again_1

Fans were shouting with excitement one after another.

Jimmy Simmons frowned, "Whose fans are those?"

Hank Ward glanced over and heard the name the fans were shouting before he answered, "It seems like they’re calling for Hannah Winter."

Jimmy’s fingertips paused momentarily, and as if possessed, he looked over.

After "The Palace Wall," Best Actress Crystal Quach once again took on a role in an ancient costume drama.

There was a female general role in the drama, not a big part, but with high requirements, and the director couldn’t find a suitable candidate after rounds of selection. It ended up being Crystal who recommended Hannah for a screen test.

Initially, the director thought that as long as her acting was passable, they ought to give face since Crystal had asked, but unexpectedly, Hannah’s fit for the role was incredibly high.

After all, following "Fairy," most people’s impression of Hannah was of a breathtaking enchantress, presumably incapable of portraying a heroic female general.

But when the final result came out, everyone couldn’t help but exclaim, "Brilliant."

Even the screenwriter regretted not giving more screen time to the role.

Today was the day Hannah finished shooting her scenes and left the set.

The fans surrounded her tightly.

Hannah wore a mask and only took it off when she saw the fans, patiently signing autographs on the photos they handed her.

The sunlight was slightly dazzling, outlining her snow-white profile. Her eyelashes fluttered, casting fragmented glimmers of light, while her slightly upturned red lips radiated brightness and brilliance.

Like a photograph, the use of light was perfected to the utmost.

Hannah handed back the last photo she had signed and then put her mask back on.

Perhaps because that look was so blatantly obvious, she glanced sideways.

In the moment their gazes collided, it was like a spring breeze skimming across the water’s surface, yet the ripples seemed to reach all the way to one’s heart.

Jimmy could feel that in that instant, the girl’s gaze had fallen on his legs, prompting him to subconsciously tighten his grip.

She was probably smiling, for even with half of her face covered, the visible part of her eyes and brows were still so captivating, with a clear and pure smile.

For the first time, Jimmy felt the impulse to drag someone over and demand answers.

But he didn’t know what to ask.

Because in just that short time, she had already walked away.

Once inside the car, Hannah took off her mask again.

Out of her pocket crept a disheveled furball of a Golden Lotus, panting heavily.

It had nearly suffocated.

Leaning against the car window, as she passed by Jimmy, their eyes met again. Unfortunately, Jimmy couldn’t see inside the car.

"How awful, his leg still hasn’t healed."

She sighed softly, a slight frown on her face showing a mix of pity and concern, yet her tone was cheerfully rising.

Golden Lotus caught its breath and whispered back, "Actually, I could walk now, it just hurts when it rains."

Hannah shook her head with a soft sigh, "Really such a poor thing."

Jimmy was indeed interested in Hannah.

It’s just that this time, without any action on his part, they met again.

It was at a social event.

Hannah appeared once more as Arnold Simmons’ companion before everyone.

A black chiffon dress accentuated her slender waistline, with rubies embellishing the gown like they were free, making her beauty resemble a sprite in the dark night.

Pure, yet seductive.

She captured everyone’s attention.

There were many stars at the gathering, mostly serving as embellishments, but Hannah’s dazzling presence was unprecedented. Many neglected their own companions, unable to retract their gaze.

They wanted to approach, but then recoiled upon seeing the man by the beauty’s side.
