Chapter 850: Chapter 850 Nothing Wrong_1

This time, Jack Stewart didn’t need to pry into the matter; it was already clear.

The new female lead was set: Tiffany Lynch.

The production team felt that Tiffany Lynch matched the original character from the novel more closely, but in order not to waste Hannah’s trip, they agreed that Hannah could play another supporting role.

A jealous, brainless, and vicious supporting female character.

The film crew’s persuasive phrases were all too familiar, something along the lines of "no role is too small."

Such words were convincing to Jack Stewart back then because Hannah had said them, but coming from someone with ill intentions...

There was no end to the curses!

None of the production team could stand up to him; Jack Stewart had them all scolded fiercely without using a single swear word.

Eventually, the call came through to Hannah.

Hannah was sitting in the car, staring at the building across from her. She was waiting for someone, and she answered the phone with distraction, "Mm, I knew it, what did Jack Stewart curse at you for?"

The person on the other end of the line suppressed their fury and repeated it once more.

Hannah nodded, her fingertips lightly tapping on the steering wheel, "Look at you, I don’t think he did anything wrong. Offended? Whether offended or not, the role has been replaced. Do you think I care?"

Such a languid remark, yet it cut like a spring breeze straight across the face of the person on the other end of the call.

It stung so fiercely that they could only force out a harsh threat, "If you don’t take the role, just wait to be blacklisted."

Hannah looked down at the time, "Yeah, I’ll wait."

In her haste to humiliate Hannah, Tiffany Lynch, holding herself with a facade of kindness and generosity, insisted that the production team force Hannah to take the role.

The investors were untouchable, and while the production team was under pressure and feeling the heat, Jack Stewart’s provocation made them explode.

Hannah added fuel to the fire, driving them to the brink of fury, daring even to utter threats of a blacklist.

What truly reflects a star’s strength and status is not how many good scripts they have done, but how many luxury brand endorsements they have obtained.

As a supplier to royalty, the standards of Carlo Jewelry were naturally top-notch. Ever since they announced Hannah as their global ambassador, her status had risen accordingly.

She was no longer easily shaken as she had been at the beginning.

It just goes to show Tiffany Lynch was too hasty, clinging to Jimmy Simmons’s coattails and unable to contain herself.

But that was normal; anyone else would have done the same.

Four in the afternoon.

On cloudy days without sunshine, the cold wind is even more brazen.

Someone from the company escorted Arnold Simmons to the doorway, maintaining a deference that had not lessened since the past.

Any smart person could see that even Jimmy Simmons, the President, had taken the position after Arnold Simmons had given his approval.

Arnold Simmons, the power-holder of the Simmons Family, retained his status as before. Before and behind the public eye, everyone still respectfully addressed him as "Second Master."

In contrast, Jimmy Simmons, the wheelchair-bound President of the Simmons Clan, seemed much more desolate.

He sat much lower than the man in front of him and could only look up at him. This comparison made him feel even more humiliated. His voice was colder than the chilly wind, "Since my young uncle has not held any position at the Simmons Clan for a while now, it’s better if you don’t come around here much in the future. It’s annoying to watch."

The uncle and nephew faced off, with Jimmy Simmons making no effort to hide his hostility towards Arnold Simmons.

Arnold Simmons responded with a calm smile, "You’re young, and your parents are no longer with us. As your elder, it’s only natural that I give you some guidance."

The man’s composed demeanor fully played the part of the elder, but his words were like blades crafted from soft wind, slashing straight at Jimmy’s heart.

Jimmy was so infuriated he almost stood up from his wheelchair, but in the end he gripped the armrest tight and forced himself to remain calm.
