Chapter 769: Chapter 769: Won’t Go Back
Hannah looked over and smiled, saying, "It’s so late. Has Mr. Qualls not gone to bed yet, and is out for moon-gazing?"
Without the hustle and bustle of the city, the stars seemed to suddenly burst from behind the clouds, stretching across the endless night sky. Looking over it was actually quite spectacular.
Jackie shook his head, "I can’t sleep until you return."
Recalling what had happened earlier, Jackie furrowed his brows subconsciously and asked hesitantly, "Is he badly hurt?"
Hannah glanced at him, her eyes twinkling with laughter, answered bluntly, "The injury is not severe. But it’s just that he is still too young, his acting skills can’t compare with yours, Mr. Qualls."
Jackie was silent for a moment, then let out a light laugh, "If you know that, why do you still go there?"
Hannah chose a clean spot, jumped on a stool, which made her a bit taller than Jackie who was outside the wall, supported herself with a hand on the wall, smiling radiantly.
She waved to the man outside the wall, her eyes sparkling like the star-studded sky, Jackie took a few steps closer.
A soft feminine voice arrived with the night breeze, "Don’t you think it’s kind of cute, Mr. Qualls, when a man starts to win attention with just a bit of trick?"
Jackie frowned, about to say something, but Hannah cut him off: "This is like the emperor enjoying the competition among his concubines."
She stretched out her hand, lightly touching the man’s shoulder, said playfully: "He loves to act, and I love to watch."
Her smile was enchanting, yet under the moonlight, it gave a sense of pure innocence.
Jackie was slightly lost, shifted his gaze, spoke in a soft voice, "If you like it, it’s fine, but..."
"I don’t want to hear ’but’."
Seeing Hannah frown, he closed his mouth.

Being injured during the recording, especially an injury that required stitches, really scared Brother Davis, Louis Snyder’s agent. He wanted to immediately contact the program team, asking to withdraw from the following recording.
After all, an entirely healthy performer was sent there and ended up getting injured, and it was even his hand.
Everyone knows that not only a woman’s hand is the second face, but it’s the same for men too!
But what Davis didn’t expect was that as soon as he proposed withdrawal, Louis immediately refused.
"I won’t go back." Louis stood in a corner with his cell phone, his gaze fixed on Hannah, who was performing a task with Jackie.
The popularity of Fairy was too high. Plus, due to various behind-the-scenes relationships, even George Quach had to accept that they would be paired in the following tasks.
The aura surrounding the young man held a sense of coolness. Despite the distance, Davis could feel it through the phone, yet he still tried to persuade, "Louis, our current position is an actor, the most important part of being an actor is acting! If you were participating in a variety show occasionally for more exposure, that’s one thing, but now Best Actor Qualls is there too. Do you think a fledgling actor like you could surpass his popularity?"
Louis looked down at his bandaged wound, feeling indignant, his eyes darkening.
Davis continued to chattering on the other end of the phone, "The original contract was only for two episodes. Even if you come back now, there’s nothing wrong with that. Now that everyone’s attention is on Hannah and Jackie, this is a perfect time to avoid being used for publicity. It’s good! Take my advice and come back as soon as possible."
Not far away, bouts of laughter sounded.
The game was at a critical moment. The cooperation between Hannah and Jackie was going well, poor Owen Hanson, however, was down on his luck and his responses were slow.
