Chapter 757: Chapter 757 That’s really great

He carried a faint smile, appearing as usual, affable and approachable.

Yet, upon closer look, he seemed detached and indifferent in his eyes. Despite the compliments and warmth of others, he responded with ease, demonstrating cultured and reserved refinement, unyielding as a green mountain in the storm.

Louis Snyder approached, expressionless, interrupting Owen Hanson’s overly enthusiastic compliments, "Mr. Qualls."

He was six years his junior, not a very large age gap, but when the two stood together, they perfectly epitomized the difference between an unripe youth and a mature man.

As for Louis Snyder, Jackie Qualls did not know him well, but he had heard of the rumored prodigy in the acting circle who was supposedly "somewhat like him in his younger days."

Promising, highly rated by others.

In fact, Jackie Qualls was not old himself, 26, arguably in the golden period of a male actor’s career. However, having started as a child actor and having played a wide range of roles over the years, he emanated an aura of an extraordinarily mature senior.

In the face of Louis Snyder, he merely nodded slightly in acknowledgment.

Seeing an opportunity, Owen Hanson was just about to continue the conversation, but Louis Snyder seized the chance before him.

"Everyone says that my acting resembles the young Mr. Qualls. The truth is, I know quite well that in experience and acting ability, there is much I need to learn from Mr. Qualls."

The young man flashed an obedient smile, both humble and polite.

However, two lives had made Jackie Qualls sensitive enough to sense the young man’s hostility towards him. Unsure of its source, he simply attributed it to youthful exuberance.

After all, the circle had indeed changed a lot since his debut. The endless chase of fans could easily make artists arrogant and impatient.

As such, he just slightly smiled, showing no sign of taking offense, relaxing as if under a spring breeze, "I’ve watched your work, it’s good."

"Really?" Louis Snyder feigned flattered surprise.

But he knew in his heart that it was likely nothing more than polite talk. How could the mighty BEST Actor Qualls possibly have seen his acting? At most, he may know his name in relation to the buzz of the "copycat Jackie Qualls."

Owen Hanson on the side was desperately trying to integrate into the conversation between the two, but noticing Louis Snyder’s gaze at him, cold and gloomy,

he involuntarily shrank back, quietly closing his mouth.

Jackie Qualls nodded in acknowledgment, his gaze sweeping past Louis Snyder in front of him as if seeking someone behind him.

Louis Snyder stiffened his eyes, took a step to the left, blocking Jackie Qualls’s line of sight, "I wonder if Mr. Qualls would mind me asking for some acting lessons from you in the future?"

Jackie Qualls pulled back his gaze. All over his face was a warm and friendly demeanor, perfectly playing the part of an older generation leading the way, "Of course, if there’s a chance."

"That’s simply— wonderful."

Louis Snyder tilted up the corner of his mouth, his eyes full of smile.

A chill ran down Owen Hanson’s back; even knowing that the young man’s smile was not directed at him, he involuntarily turned around and left.

With a lingering fear.

The courtyard immediately quieted down, devoid of the previous bustle.

Just as Louis Snyder was about to utter words of farewell, the door behind him opened as if fixed to a timer.

Hannah, who had spent the entire night watching the moon with Vincent, had not rested. She had merely changed her clothes. Her slightly curly black hair fell over her shoulders, highlighting the face untouched by makeup seemed delicate and pale. The only exception was her red lips, even more stunningly ethereal.

She first set her eyes on Louis Snyder standing in the courtyard.
