Chapter 724: Chapter 724: Did Nothing at All

Perhaps she’s saddened by the approaching farewell.

"We won’t part." Arnold Simmons leaned in and buried his head in the crook of Hannah’s neck, indulging in her intoxicating fragrance that kindled raging flames in his body.

Even though he was burning with desire inside, Arnold’s face remained calm. Only his eyes gradually darkened.

He reached out, catching Hannah’s fidgety hand. His hot palm firmly held her captive. Hannah didn’t resist, allowing Arnold to grasp her. Her body wriggled restlessly and her voice turned feeble, "Do you want to?"

The man stopped speaking. His half-closed eyes possessed a penetrating gaze. He didn’t utter a word, but his actions were dominant.

"Hmm, I’ll indulge you." As the man murmured, he laughed lightly. The moment he felt her warmth and softness, it was as if every restraint had been released.

Her hand, clutching his collar, clenched up, her eyelashes trembling slightly. As she opened her eyes to peek at him, he anticipated her move and covered her eyes.

She was now engulfed in complete darkness, amplifying her other senses.

It was only when Teresa Gordon returned with the keys and directed the hotel staff to open the door that Arnold released Hannah, swiftly buttoning up his shirt, which she had undone in their passionate encounter.

Standing up, he stole a kiss on Hannah’s flushed cheek, whispering, "Satisfied?"

Hannah nodded, her bright eyes fixated on Arnold. "Ya!" She hastily sat upright pushing Arnold, "You better hide now."

With a sigh of resignation, Arnold retreated into the washroom.

He had never imagined himself having to hide, even to spend time alone with his girl.

When Teresa rushed in, what she saw was a composed Hannah sitting on the sofa, having changed into fresh clothes.

Looking around, she asked with a suspicious and perplexed face, "What were you doing in the room just now?"

Hannah looked up at her, shook her head, her eyes full of innocence and her lips curving into a smile, "Nothing."

Teresa frowned, her confusion deepening. She could not read anything from Hannah’s face, "What happened to your swollen lips?"

Teresa turned her head to find her reflection in the mirror and noticed her slightly swollen lips. Internally cursing Arnold, she calmly responded, "An allergic reaction."

Teresa didn’t dwell on it and looking at the time, said, "It’s almost time. Let’s get going."

The magazine shoot, scheduled for three hours, was delayed by half an hour. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺

The photographer in charge was visibly excited, exclaiming after each shot.

Long-term exposure under the intense lighting was tiring, but Hannah cooperated throughout without a hint of discontent, even occasionally offering her input.

At the end of the shoot, the photographer held Hannah’s hand, expressing regret at parting ways and making a pact to work together in the future.

Teresa stood aside, her face displaying her displeasure, possibly because she wasn’t accustomed to being overlooked while others made arrangements with her artists directly.

However, remembering that Hannah was still her artist, she felt slightly reassured, promptly interrupting the exchange, "Time’s up. Any further delay and we’ll miss the flight."

Teresa might have returned home only two years ago, but she’d already earned a strong reputation in the industry.

Previously, everyone only knew that Hannah was the poster girl for HQ Company.
