Chapter 668: Chapter 668: Small Person, Big Temper
James Landon’s relaxed brows furrowed once again, mumbling, "Children, hard to teach."
Especially when in front of the camera, after all, they’re not the children’s parents, if their words were too harsh, they’d certainly be misinterpreted viciously online. But some children were a handful, and needed to be disciplined.
Just like the little butterfly from before, she never knew the amount of trouble her casual words could cause others.
Especially for a somewhat introverted child like Phoebe Sherton, the rejection of others might cause her to become even more withdrawn.
However, seeing Phoebe’s happy expression now, it seemed she has already forgotten about it.
Hannah walked towards the house with James Landon trailing behind her, "Growth is a process. While they’re learning good things, they’re also picking up bad habits. The small butterfly likes Matthew Quach and wants to be close to him. Rather than me saying something, it’s better if Matthew says it. Just one casual sentence from him would be more effective than my words."
Otherwise, the little butterfly wouldn’t have ran away in a huff.
She couldn’t wait to make a good impression in front of Matthew. However, not only did she fail to make a good impression, but what she said was also overheard by Matthew, and naturally, she felt awkward.
She spoke of things she didn’t like, while Matthew voiced his preferences. Naturally, she felt inadequate compared to Phoebe in Matthew’s eyes and, naturally, she was angered.
She was both embarrassed and angry— there was no need for further words.
James Landon was slightly taken aback upon realizing this. He was momentarily surprised before murmuring, "You’re really capable."
Hannah looked at him, brimming with a smile at the corner of her mouth, and called out, "James."
She rarely called him by his name directly.
A shudder passed through James, but luckily, his bangs, which hadn’t been trimmed for a long time, hid his expression.
He just sat down next to her.
The faint cool breeze blew over, seemingly carrying her delicate scent, like an orchid blooming in the valley under the night sky, rich and fragrant.
She leaned her head to one side, her eyelashes lightly fluttering, "James, is it okay if I come over to your place for dinner tonight?"
Hannah remembered she was responsible for all her meals starting from today.
She wasn’t a good cook and didn’t expect a seven-year-old child like Matthew to be one either, so she could only seek help from others.
Owen Hanson looked at her with a mix of admiration and hidden calculation. Hilary Quin was probably in the same boat, so her best option left was James Landon.
As James Landon became aware again, meeting her amused eyes, he couldn’t say no.
He could only nod.
Hannah thanked him, then called for Matthew who just entered the house, telling him they have dinner plans for tonight.
Naturally, she was happy.
But she didn’t expect that Matthew, glancing at James Landon, would respond with a stern face, "We don’t need him, I won’t let you starve either."
Having said that, he turned to leave.
Hannah sighed, "Such a small kid, but quite the temper."

The production team prepared a total of four huts, differing in quality from best to worst.
They didn’t hide anything from the participants who had the chance to inspect them all.
The best house wasn’t as lavishly decorated as the city villas, but in the rural setting, it had its own charm. As for the worst one...
It was in a shaky state, seemingly about to fall over with the next gust, the rooftop straw almost ready to be blown away. Despite owning a small courtyard, it was bare, with the only item being a dilapidated chicken coop. There was even an exposed dog hole in the corner of the wall that no one has blocked.
Hannah stood in front of the house, smiling. However, her smile didn’t reach her eyes, "Matthew, you have quite the luck."
Perhaps it was due to Hilary Quin’s sudden arrival and George Quach’s last-minute change of game rules for a complete self-reliance approach, which caused this.
Matthew bit his lip, looking somewhat uncomfortable, and pushed the wooden gate, "It’s not that bad..."
