Chapter 660: Chapter 660 She Won’t Like You

He always carried a computer with him, even when he attended to record a program he would not forget the work in his hands.

Most of the time he was alone, but now he had two children by his side.

One was a little boy with pineapple hair, the other was Phoebe Sherton.

As for Matthew Quach, he sat alone in front, while Owen Hanson seemed to be eager to get closer to Matthew, preparing a belly full of jokes to tell.

However, most of the time, his efforts were met with nothing more than a gentle, mentally-challenged look from Matthew.

Owen was holding his breath, red-faced, wanting to get close to Hannah, but dared not move from his seat for fear of being accused of neglecting Matthew in the post-production. So even if he was as uncomfortable as sitting on pins and needles, he did not dare budge.

Hannah had been staring at James Landon for quite some time.

Even if he was slow to react, James stopped the work in his hands, raised his head to look at Hannah, his voice bright, "What are you looking at?"

Hannah propped her head up and responded with a light smile like a spring breeze brushing across her face, "Are you writing a song?"

James nodded, masking his moment of panic with the fringe in his eyes, his voice still steady, "It’s a song for you."

When he was on the program back then, James mentioned several times that he wanted to write a song for Hannah.

He even signed an agreement with Hannah’s studio impatiently before the program ended.

It was just that he had been struggling for inspiration, feeling that no song could perfectly match Hannah. Now that he was finally in such a beautiful and quiet place, ideas started to form in his head.

What’s more, Hannah was right by his side.

At his words, Hannah perked up in interest, "Can I have a listen?"

James lowered his eyes and nodded, "Sure."

He handed his headphones to Hannah.

Despite the aisle separating them, their relationship seemed to be extraordinarily close.

Owen withdrew his gaze, unable to avoid the uncomfortable feeling of being neglected.

He couldn’t understand why Hannah had such a good relationship with a dork like James.

Was it because he wasn’t handsome enough?

Suddenly, Matthew remarked, "You don’t need to keep looking. Hannah won’t like a guy like you."

Owen’s first reaction was to look at the camera.

Luckily, today’s necessary footage had already been gathered, so the camera had been turned off early, providing everyone with a genuine break. Now it was mainly about filming some roadside scenery.

However, that was all done by drones.

Owen let out a sigh of relief, his voice held a hint of mockery, "What do you know, you’re just a kid?"

He mumbled a bit, not loud enough to be clearly heard.

But Matthew did hear it, and lifted his head to look at Owen who flinched under his gaze, feeling not so much like confronting a child, but rather like the nerve-wracking sensation of being scrutinized by a company’s top executive.

He cursed in his mind, how ridiculous he was to be scared by a kid.

Matthew only looked at him for a moment then turned his gaze away, "Firstly, I’m seven this year, not a child; secondly, you’re not handsome enough. Hannah won’t like someone like you."

Owen was almost driven to laugh out of frustration, "You’re so young and you’re already so superficial."

Saying this, he reached out to rub Matthew’s head, only to have him avoid with a swift dodge, forcing Owen to stiffly retract his hand, his opinion of Matthew worsened.

After all, anyone would be offended if they were afforded such disrespect repeatedly, let alone when the offending party is a mere child.

Matthew still kept a cold face, his words sounding exceptionally mature.
