Chapter 639: Chapter 639: Waiting for People

"Will Manager Gordon release people? Miss Winter is currently the hottest talent in our company."

"Are you stupid? She definitely won’t release. Rumor has it that Manager Gordon has already negotiated a regular role for Miss Winter on another old-fashioned variety show, isn’t that better than a show we’ve never even heard of?" 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎

Even though they only have a two-year contract with HQ Entertainment, the most promising talent on the team at the moment is Hannah. The company has even thought about leveraging resources to promote someone else.

However, Teresa Gordon didn’t think so. After all, among the nine people, Hannah had the best prospects for development and was the only one who didn’t sign with a company.

Even though Hannah indeed had a personal studio, it doesn’t mean she can’t collaborate in the future.

Even if collaboration doesn’t work out, they can still completely establish their company’s name through Hannah over these two years, taking the opportunity to promote their company’s new talent.

That way, they won’t lose out, and with the team’s contract in place, it’s enough to keep Hannah under control.

Therefore, the focus of HQ Entertainment has recently been on Hannah. When it comes to things like taking photos for the company calendar, she was the only one invited domestically.

You have to know that this has always been the tradition of HQ Entertainment. Every year, the talent featured in the calendar are always the most influential within the company, and Hannah will become the first domestic talent to appear on the HQ headquarters’ annual calendar.

HQ’s headquarters is overseas, and even their male and female bands that have been nurtured in recent years have a reputation internationally. This move could be considered the first olive branch that HQ has extended to Hannah.

As everyone was chatting happily, someone reminded them to look in Hannah’s direction. As they saw Hannah approach, they each returned to their own seats.

The photo shoot hadn’t started yet. Today, they just tried on the costumes. In the middle of that, the photographer and Teresa Gordon failed to agree on anything, so Hannah decided to rest.

She was still wearing the custom-designed outfit, holding a vintage lace fan in her hand. Her dress extended to her ankles, the complex pattern highlighted with gold thread. From a distance, she looked like a vintage beauty who had stepped right out of a magazine from the last century, exuding charm.

The secretary quickly went over to her. "Miss Winter, a producer came and said he was looking for you."

Hannah lazily looked over and asked, "Who?"

The secretary was struck dumbfounded by her look for a few seconds, then quickly recovered to answer, "He said his name is George Quach, do you want me to notify Manager Gordon?"

Ever since Hannah became popular, there have been many people wanting to collaborate with her, and it’s always Teresa Gordon who decides whether to agree.

"No need." Hannah gave a shake of her little lace fan and pushed the door to enter the rest area.

Standing in her place, the secretary didn’t dare to enter easily as she didn’t understand Hannah’s temper. After some thought, she ran off to notify Teresa Gordon.

Inside the rest area, George Quach was waiting so long he was almost falling asleep. He was holding a big, somewhat exaggerated, black bag and didn’t dare to sit on the sofa, but instead sat on a small stool nearby.

Wobbling, it looked like he would fall over at any moment.

Hannah leaned on the doorframe and couldn’t help but let out a light laugh,

The sound of her laughter was soft and pleasant, like something out of a dream, causing George Quach to abruptly stand up.

He hadn’t fully woken up yet.

Being severely nearsighted, he didn’t know where his glasses went and only shop a vague silhouette standing by the door, unable to determine if it was a man or a woman.

George Quach squinted, but he still couldn’t make out the figure in front of him.
