Chapter 633: Chapter 633: Nothing is Bad

"How many times have I told you, don’t respond. Don’t respond. This type of stuff is too common in the entertainment industry. If you don’t respond, everyone will naturally forget about it over time."

Hannah leaned back in her chair, wearing sunglasses, crossing her arms, looking standoffish. "I did respond, and isn’t the outcome decent? It even saved you quite a bit of money to buy hot searches."

Teresa Gordon turned her head to look at Hannah, suddenly at a loss for words. "You shouldn’t have blabbered in front of those paparazzi, especially when the person at the other end is Jackie Qualls."

Hannah moved slightly, leaning her head against the car window, "He confessed his feelings; I rejected him. I don’t see anything wrong with that."

Teresa had been worried that Hannah’s response could have offended Jackie, considering that he’s a well-respected movie star with a vast network and popularity within the showbiz. But after seeing Jackie’s response, she felt slightly relieved.

"Next time you have to be more careful, don’t just blurt everything to the paparazzi."

Hannah didn’t answer, appearing to have fallen asleep. The surrounding atmosphere was tranquil and beautiful.

Teresa could not say anything more; after all, Hannah was the one driving the team’s popularity at the moment.

She knew of Hannah’s charm, but she never expected that even someone like Jackie would openly express his fondness.

Indeed — beauty invites misfortune.

Upon getting out of the car, Hannah removed her sunglasses. Teresa followed close behind, probably discussing the arrangements for the upcoming group variety show. Gazing up to see a room full of people, her face grew cold.

Not willing to vent her anger towards Hannah, she was less courteous towards the others.

"What are you all standing around for? Have you perfected your dance routines or gotten familiar with the songs?"

When Teresa’s face turned cold, it indeed held a lot of intimidation, like a wicked stepmother in a fairy tale.

Although the group members were unhappy with Teresa’s blatant favoritism towards Hannah, they obediently returned to their rooms.

There were constant nagging along the way.

"Our new manager is so blatantly opportunistic. She can’t wait to flatter Hannah, but is quick to chide us. Does she have to play favorites so obviously?"

"What choice do we have? Hannah is the one who makes money."

"Hannah barely spends a day at the villa every week, and we can hardly see her around except during the group’s variety shows. What’s the difference between this and going solo? Yet, Manager Gordon keeps promoting her. Isn’t she stealing our popularity and resources?"

The balanced development of a team has always been a challenge. But if there’s a fixed center position in the group, it naturally signifies that the center’s popularity will be higher than the other members.

However, it’s hard to say. It’s not uncommon for people like Hannah to single-handedly take the spotlight, while most people only know Hannah and have no idea who her teammates are. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢

Over time, grudges will form among team members.

"Everyone outside says that Hannah single-handedly supports the entire team. Who doesn’t want to be famous? But with Hannah in front, will we ever have our chance to shine?"

Megan Shaw was getting more and more emotional. Seeing Sunny Lee on the side, knowing she got along well with Hannah, Megan tried to win her over. "Sunny, tell me, do you want to be famous?"

Sunny Lee looked conflicted and murmured, "I want to, but..."

"All you need to know is your desire. But now, we have Hannah in our team!"

"Have you said enough?" Lucy Taylor could tell what Megan Shaw was trying to express with a single glance.
