Chapter 618: Chapter 618: So It’s True

If he had stayed in the villa and spent time with that foolish person who had made him a table full of food for his birthday, would the outcome be different?

He wasn’t sure who he really loved.

Whether it was the heart palpitation of his younger days or the warm companionship of the past two years.

The former was an obsession, the latter... was a longing.

George River couldn’t understand, he just felt a suffocating pain in his chest, as if the wound there was subtly throbbing again, making him feel inexplicably irritated.

The specific whereabouts of Hannah and the location of the crew were well protected, and even if George River wanted to, he might not be able to find them.

However, there was one person who did know.

*

Hannah had many notices recently, and she had to go back to the band variety show the day after tomorrow. Jack Stewart had taken a long time to arrange a two-day rest for her.

She had planned to spend some quality time with her own Mr. Simmons in the villa, but unfortunately, he was too busy lately.

The time he was away wasn’t long, but it happened to be these two days.

Hannah wasn’t interested in what Arnold Simmons was doing. If he didn’t bring it up, she wouldn’t ask. She just didn’t want to stay alone in the villa, so she simply returned to the apartment.

The hallway was dark, the sound-activated lights only turned on when someone walked by.

With just a glance, Hannah saw the pitiful looking boy crouching in the corner, but she acted as though she hadn’t seen him and walked past.

As she searched for keys to open the door, her hand had just reached for the door handle when she heard the boy’s exceptionally soft voice in the hallway, "Sis."

He wanted to stand, but his legs had gone numb from crouching. His hands tightly gripping his knees, yet still motionless, he merely tilts his head to look at the person beside him, trying to muster a smile.

Hannah silently observed the boy’s pitiful appearance, expressionless, she simply teased, "You all seem to like hanging around others’ front doors, don’t you?"

"Who are you talking about, sis?" The boy was stunned, and after thinking for a few seconds, his expression suddenly turned dark. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦

"Is it Jackie Qualls?"

Hannah folded her arms, neither nodded nor shook her head.

But indeed, there was such a person.

Louis Snyder understood, he was silent for a moment, and then whispered, "So, the rumors online are true, do you really like mature men like Jackie Qualls?"

He stared straight at the person in front of him, Hannah met his gaze, chuckled lightly, "Are you trying to find out my preference in a partner?"

Louis Snyder moved his lips, his voice cold, emphasized, "It’s not ’brother.’"

Hannah didn’t pay attention to him and deliberately called him, "Little brother."

Louis Snyder, whose hands were clutching his knees, relaxed. He seemed slightly irritated, and wanted to stand, but his legs were still weak.

He didn’t like the feeling of having to look up at someone, especially in front of Hannah.

Unable to stand, Louis Snyder simply leaned against the wall, with a somewhat resigned demeanor. Even his voice was low as he said, "Did you have a date with Jackie Qualls, that’s why you came home so late?"

Hannah corrected him, "You should respect him, he’s your senior. Don’t you want to call him in a polite way?"

Louis Snyder didn’t say anything for a while, then finally said, "He took you away, I don’t like him."

After saying this, he looked up again at Hannah who was standing not far away.

She was wearing a little black dress today. The style was simple, but it perfectly delineated Hannah’s perfect silhouette, revealing both her waist and her legs. Under the light, there was a gentle sway that gave her a warm and radiant glow like jade.
