Chapter 611: Chapter 611: Haven’t Said Yet

In the end, Hannah couldn’t view the moon with Arnold as planned. She felt gloomy when she returned to her room.

Arnold held her in his arms, consoling her.

"There was a moon just a moment ago," she huffed, latching on to his neck. Her dewy lips were just as juicy and lustrous as in the video call.

Even her voice was soft and sweet, "Arnold, you didn’t say if you missed me?"

He didn’t answer but gently squeezed her tender cheek, as smooth and soft as tofu - irresistible to touch.

Hannah, however, took hold of his hand that was teasing her cheek, pouting, "You messed up my makeup."

With that, she reached for the mirror on the table. As her fingers were about to touch it, he pulled her back, "You’re getting more and more spoiled."

Hannah wriggled discontentedly in his arms, staring at where the mirror was, unable to see her own face. So, she vented her annoyance on him, sounding charmingly scornful, "This isn’t being spoiled. No girl doesn’t care about her looks. Of course, I want to always look nice in front of the person who loves me."

She sounded very confident. Arnold, however, was taken aback by her words.

He looked at her intensely, teasing her neck with a kiss and mumbling with a husky, emotionally charged voice, "You really don’t feel embarrassed. Who said they love you?"

"Don’t you like me?" Her smile was radiant and self-assured, confident in the belief that he loved her even if he had never uttered words like ’like’ or ’love’.

He remained silent, smiling as he watched the girl in his arms. He dabbed at the smeared lipstick on the corner of her mouth with a tissue, asking in a deep voice, "So how do you know I like you?"

Their relationship has never been explicitly defined.

Yet, she’s the only one who was always by his side.

The girl’s eyes were warm and affectionate as she listed things with her delicate fingers, "You sorted out the guys who were bullying me, and you bought me all these toys I love."

Seeing the faint blush on her lips, he slightly lightened his touch, "Is that all?"

Hannah blinked, blushing slightly. Her eyes, however, were clear as crystal, "You always hold me, kiss me, and also..."

She suddenly parted her lips, revealing a cheeky grin, and whispered something softly into his ear.

Considering the nature of her words, surprisingly, she didn’t seem shy at all. But Arnold blushed as her breath tickled his ear.

He couldn’t help but lose his composure in front of her.

Hannah covered her mouth, shaking with laughter. She tightened her grip on the man’s collar, "Arnold, you’re such an innocent."

After her comment, he wished he could swallow her whole. His arm, wrapped around her waist, tightened, "Had enough laughter?"

"I’m thirsty, I want water." She finally managed to stop laughing. The lingering smile in her eyes and between her eyebrows was still visible as she began giving orders again.

Arnold held her hand, feigning indifference, "Can’t you pour it yourself?"

Hannah squirmed, unabashedly admitting her laziness, "I don’t feel like moving."

Arnold had no choice but to put her on the sofa and head to the kitchen.

Hannah leaned on the armrest, watching his figure through the glass with a smile in her eyes and an upward curve on her lips.
