Chapter 419: Chapter 419: Bad Temper
Jackie Qualls felt a sting in his heart, unable to refute it.
Hannah continued, "You’re a smart man, don’t get bogged down in pointless things. Everyone wants to climb higher in their own way, I’m not wronged in any way. Don’t impose your ideas onto me."
Hannah was always hot-tempered and competitive since she could remember, completely unlike her gentle and mild-mannered mother.
Occasionally, Hannah’s mother would mention her father, saying that Hannah was as stubborn as him. She would never reply to that.
Later on, living alone, the petite Hannah was often pushed down and beaten. Yet, she would always bounce back and run back to that place after every beating.
Until one day, she could push down those who bullied her and beat them until they bled.
Her fiery spirit hadn’t quelled over the years. Exiled to Blue Star to act, she had already extended her greatest patience to put on a performance with these people.
But she has disliked Jackie Qualls since the first meeting.
She didn’t like him, not one bit, "Since you can’t help me, don’t stand in my way."
Jackie Qualls looked pale, speaking with a tone of defeat, "Hannah, is debut really that important for you?"
Important enough to sacrifice yourself for it.
Hannah looked at him, "Mr.Qualls, don’t you find it ridiculous to ask that question?"
Jackie Qualls was taken aback, seemingly not having processed her words.
Hannah sighed lightly, walking up the steps to face Jackie Qualls from above, looking down at him, "Because you have it all. Regardless of the past, you’re currently enjoying your fans’ adoration, enjoying everything that fame and fortune bring. Yet, you’re telling others that all these mean nothing. Don’t you feel ridiculous?"
The girl in front of him, saying what should have been sarcastic words, had eyes filled with stars and a glowing smile.
She was just stating a fact.
A fact that everyone tries to avoid.
Those who enjoy wealth and fame ridiculously always advise others to take these lightly.
Unable to deny Hannah’s words, Jackie Qualls suddenly had a weary look in his eyes. He closed his eyes, not daring to look at Hannah’s smile anymore, "I stand by my words. Don’t wrong yourself. You can always come to me if you need anything... I’m always here."
He finished speaking, turned around, but couldn’t bring himself to leave.
The soft, jovial voice of the young girl echoed behind him, "Mr.Qualls, I am happier than anyone else right now. Even for the sake of my face, I want to live more happily than you all."
So, self-sacrifice isn’t an issue.
There are always people who love to worry about all kinds of useless things.
They believe the whole world revolves around them, and any rejection is merely an act of enticing.
Indeed, the one you can’t get is always the best.

On the following day, Hayes Edwards got to the sixth floor’s practice room early.
When Hannah arrived, everyone else was already there. Hayes was still wearing his baseball cap, sitting in the corner, ignoring everyone.
The person teaching the class was Violet Lee. Upon seeing Hannah, she gave out a friendly smile.
The practice had just begun, and Violet Lee was still explaining the key points of this dance.
Hannah glanced at Hayes Edwards, who was sitting in the back of the practice room, before catching up with the others’ progress.
Stretching, leg-pressing, Hannah performed every move with precision.
