Chapter 233: Chapter 233: Go Find Him Yourself
"Really?" Hannah said in disbelief, "Maybe you’ve been feeling unwell. You should go to the hospital for a check-up. You’re only 19. You shouldn’t be abusing your health like this. Otherwise, as you age, you’ll become old rather quickly and by that time, the young girls out there won’t like you anymore."
She jokingly smiled, her eyes and eyebrows curving in a laugh, radiating an exceptional charm.
It was like a warm spring breeze from the four seasons, touching her face gently.
However, perhaps only Arnold Simmons, who truly understood Hannah, could see the malice and cunning hidden in the depths of the girl’s eyes, like a little fox playing a prank.
However, Louis Snyder didn’t understand and was immersed in a face slightly similar to the moonlight in his memory, mumbling, "So, will you always like me?"
Will the love of a fan eventually fade away, what about you?
Would you always like me?
Coming back to his senses, he found his question laughable as if he was acting like a naive boy encountering love for the first time in front of Hannah Winter.
He suddenly wanted to take back those words, but a voice in his heart was awaiting Hannah’s response.
However, upon hearing this, Hannah only smiled faintly. Just as she was about to say something, her mobile phone in her pocket rang.
It was a call from James Landon’s manager.
Seeking for Hannah.
Hannah answered the call and walked aside, "Yes, no, I didn’t get lost, I’ll be back soon... what are you ordering... oh, get me another small cake, chocolate flavored one, I’m not afraid of gaining weight... thank you."
The soft voice of the young girl was audible, unlike her mature and tolerant tone in front of Louis, she appeared more like a lovely little young lady.
Louis felt a sudden pang in his heart, subconsciously thinking that perhaps the Hannah he knew was just... the one he thought he knew.
Hannah hung up the call and came back, looking a little anxious this time, "Louis, I need to go now. I won’t be able to contact you for some time. If you have any problems, contact Oliver Taylor, that rich second-generation you had me ask for resources."
She spoke without concerning herself, as if oblivious of the boy’s unpleasant countenance. Her smile grew coquettish, her voice soft and she deliberately slowed her tone, as if being seductive, "Look for him, he’ll help you. You might have to swallow your pride and say some nice things though. He’s actually quite nice."
In an instant, all Louis could see on Hannah’s fair face were her pale, thin lips. As beautiful as flower petals, the words they uttered left him feeling as though he had plunged into an ice pit.
Oliver Taylor, the rich second-generation who lavishly gave out resources during the drinks party and the man he asked Hannah to deliberately get close to.
The resources for ’Falling Spring’ were provided by Oliver Taylor.
At least that’s what Louis believed at the moment.
Underground rules, it’s always the underground rules.
However, Louis could only force himself to show a faint smile, obediently saying, "I understand, Hannah."
Hannah nodded, patted his shoulder and said with earnestness, "Take care of yourself. If you can afford it, go to the beauty salon more often."
Louis twitched a corner of his mouth, his smile stiff, but he obediently nodded.
Hannah left.
A cold wave spread over him, incessantly tugging at Louis’s body, wanting to push him into an icy river.
At the age of only 19, it was a blooming age in life. Pretending to be mature, fantasizing every day that the whole world was against him, rebellious but feigning composure, indifferent yet assuming himself to be smart.
