Chapter 1234: Chapter 1234: Maybe It Is

Then she chose a spot to stand, bowed her head, and obediently waited.

In the room.

Jack Stewart took Hannah to the balcony, "What’s with that guy outside? Is he a little lover you’ve picked for yourself?"

Hannah tugged at her shawl, "Not a lover, just someone I saved on a whim."

Jack Stewart was still somewhat incredulous, "For real? Don’t hide these things from me; we’ve known each other for almost five years."

Hannah: "It really was just on a whim. If there is something more, at most it’s because I see he has potential; maybe he’s the next top superstar."

Jack Stewart laughed, "You think top superstars are like cabbages, pick one up off the street just like that?"

Hannah casually said, "Others might not pick up one, but maybe I just did."

Unable to out-talk Hannah, Jack Stewart assumed it was just a spur-of-the-moment thing.

Before letting him in, Jack Stewart still warned John Lynch with a stern face, "She’s willing to give you a chance. I don’t expect you to repay her kindness, but I hope you don’t get any funny ideas. Otherwise, I’ll be the first one to not let you off."

John Lynch’s hands, which were hanging by his side, clenched tightly at his trouser seams, then after a moment, relaxed, "I know, I won’t harm her or take advantage of her."

Jack Stewart gave him one final look before letting him in.

Regardless of whether it was true or false, he would keep a close eye on him.

John Lynch stood by the door, not daring to walk further inside.

Hannah greeted him with a beaming smile, "Little Blue Hair, from now on I’m your boss, let’s hear you say ’Boss’ and see how it sounds."

John Lynch, infected by her smile, also managed a grin, "Hello, Boss." 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚

Delighted with the title, she turned around to report to her Mr. Simmons.

From now on, she too would be a boss with employees.

Arnold Simmons just got off the plane when he received this message.

He wanted to reply, and also wanted to surprise her.

In the end, he didn’t send the message but just instructed the driver to start driving.

Hannah didn’t mind not getting a response, and instead, she excitedly began to inquire about John Lynch’s affairs.

Being a boss for the first time, of course, she had to care about her subordinate.

But, obviously, Jack Stewart knew much more about John Lynch’s matters.

After all, he had been an agent for many years and had his own network.

Just Hannah alone under his guidance was worth several top-billed Rosas in others’ hands.

As for John Lynch’s information, he had gotten hold of it all two minutes earlier.

Starting from when he participated in the talent show.

John Lynch was still signed to a subsidiary of HQ, and the company was aware of the isolation he faced within the team, but these matters were of no concern to them.

As long as the artists could make money, that’s all that mattered - reap the profits first and worry about the rest later.

If John Lynch continued under this pattern and treatment, by the end of his contract, he would either leave the circle because of depression or be shelved.

However, he had now met Hannah.

John Lynch was just eighteen this year, five years younger than Hannah.

Hannah changed into her everyday clothes and came out to see John Lynch still standing in the corner in the same leather jacket and pants.

The dazzling stage outfits looked somewhat "eye-watering" in everyday life.

"Don’t wear these clothes anymore; keep it simple from now on."

John Lynch nodded, "Okay."

Hannah looked at him again and was still not satisfied. She had her assistant get a set of clothes for him to change into.

A sweatshirt and jeans, the simplest attire, indeed looked much more pleasing to the eye than before.

When John Lynch arrived, he was squeezed into an old bus with his team; leaving now, he was with Hannah.

The flashing lights dazzled before his eyes, and he closed them, slightly discomforted.
