Chapter 1218: Chapter 1218 It’s very lively

"Hey, Young Master Simmons..."

Before she could finish, she had already left the private room.

The others were just stunned for a second before they continued to drink and have fun as usual.

After all, someone else was picking up the tab.

It was a high-end club, and it was no rare sight to see gatherings here.

It offered privacy, a favourite for the wealthy and celebrities alike.

The only downside was the exorbitant expenses—one could spend at least a few hundred thousand just for a night. If they ordered a few bottles of name-brand liquor, the bill could easily run into the millions.

Jimmy Simmons left the club but didn’t go far, standing by the entrance and reaching into his pocket for a cigarette.

Before he could light it, he spotted a familiar, slender figure in the distance.

She was on the phone. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞

From afar, he could only see her profile, smiling, her soft voice carrying through the wind.

He couldn’t make out the words.

Without thinking, Jimmy started to approach but stopped halfway there.

People from the gathering inside the club came out.

They were all staff members responsible for Hannah Winter’s new album, including James Landon.

Jack Stewart was in the lead, and as soon as he saw Hannah standing alone at the entrance, he rushed over, "Can’t you recognize your status? You’re a female celebrity; even if you aren’t worried about kidnapping, you should at least worry about the paparazzi, right?"

Whatever he said, Hannah nodded and acknowledged she understood.

But Jack wasn’t assured and kept talking all the way, causing the group of staff behind him to laugh uncontrollably.

They laughed at how much Jack meddled, hardly the usual image of an agent.

Jack turned around, grinned, and pointed at Hannah, "If I didn’t look after her, would she have grown up to be this big, this beautiful?"

Hannah looked at him, her eyes twinkling with laughter, and without mercy, elbowed Jack, "Are you getting tired of living?"

Jack didn’t have time to react and got nudged in the arm, which wasn’t very forceful.

Yet he pretended to be in a lot of pain and clutched his arm, "Hannah Winter, you’re so heartless."

"Yes, I’m just that heartless." Her voice was playful and her face coy as she spoke with a laugh.

Jack was at a loss for words and could only snort coldly, "I was wrong to be friends with you for so many years."

The group burst into laughter.

Even from a distance, the bickering between Hannah and Jack could be heard, James Landon joining the "battle," clearly siding with Hannah.

Unable to win the argument, Jack retreated to the side, looking sullen.

It was lively.

And full of energy.

It didn’t seem like she belonged in his world at all.

Jimmy retreated into the shadows, leaning against the wall, the corners of his mouth curling into an arc.

It was as if he was smirking, but also as if he was mocking himself.

So this was what she was like in front of others.

Two months later, Hannah Winter’s new album was released.

The album included twelve songs, each with Hannah’s participation in the creation process.

On the day of the album release, the related topics skyrocketed to the top of the trending searches.

There were no controlled comments, no bots, and within minutes, the comments exceeded ten thousand.

People in the industry had assumed that after winning the Best Actress award, Hannah would focus on her acting career, but to everyone’s surprise, she took some time off and returned with a new album.

Moreover, her popularity didn’t wane in the slightest; on the contrary, it went up significantly.

This left her peers green with envy.

They lamented that in the future, they would have to avoid Hannah’s movie releases and now her new album drops as well when buying trending searches, or else their money would be completely wasted.

That same evening, along with the release of her new songs, news of Hannah’s upcoming solo concert was announced.

Before the marketing accounts could spill the beans to earn clicks, Hannah’s personal studio released the news themselves.

The concert was tentatively scheduled for later this year.
