Chapter 1151: Chapter 1151: Familiarity Breeds Faster

Edison Lynch couldn’t muster a smile anymore; he put aside his attempt at coolness, thrust the champagne he was holding into Emily Lynch’s hands, and turned to leave. "Sis, I’m not going to keep you company today. Have fun."

With that, he had vanished once again.

Emily Lynch couldn’t help but think that her brother must have been a subterranean creature in his past life.

No sooner had Edison left than Roy Yarn came over, with the tough-looking William Taylor in tow.

William Taylor was the outgoing type, and without waiting for Roy to introduce him, he had already introduced himself and even struck up a conversation with Hannah.

"You’re the girl who came to our school’s concert before, right?"

Hannah nodded, and looking at Roy, who seemed a bit embarrassed on the side, she added, "I’m a friend of Roy’s."

Roy silently added, "A good friend."

After saying that, he shyly smiled.

Emily teased him, "Hey, Roy Yarn, why do you still blush so easily? Do you have a switch installed on your face that turns red at the push of a button?"

Roy shook his head and was about to explain when William Taylor beat him to it, "Girl, don’t mind it. Our little Roy is just like that. I’ve been his classmate since childhood, and he never got over this habit. He blushes at everyone, which made quite a few girls think he had a crush on them. There were confessions one after another, a whole week without a break."

If it weren’t for Roy’s gentlemanly and shy nature, he would probably have been branded a womanizer long ago.

Having finished explaining to Emily, he immediately continued the conversation with Hannah.

His tone was somewhat surprised, "When I saw you back then, I thought you were quite a pretty girl. I didn’t expect you to become a big star now. You’ve got to sign an autograph for me later. My whole family loves watching your movies."

William Taylor was overenthusiastic, and as they talked, he veered off into stories from their school days.

Roy pulled at him several times but to no avail.

Anyway, both Hannah and Emily seemed to be enjoying the conversation quite a bit.

Especially Emily.

The two dialogued as though they were old friends meeting up, dropping formalities within moments, one calling the other "Sis" and the other "Big Bro."

The atmosphere couldn’t have been more harmonious.

In the midst of this, Hannah and Roy asked about Louis Snyder.

Roy’s eyes dropped, and he was silent for a while before speaking again, "He should still be upstairs. Do you want to go see him?"

Hannah declined, "I didn’t come here just to see him."

Roy breathed a sigh of relief, then brought up something else, "My mom has always said she likes you a lot. If you don’t mind, could you go meet her with me?"

He had to help his own mother chase her star.

Ever since Grace Yarn watched Hannah’s live broadcast that day, she had become thoroughly infatuated with her. The house was filled with Hannah’s posters and magazines, and all the songs on her phone were by Hannah.

Not to mention the TV shows and movies she watched.

She said she wanted to be like everyone else and become a "Mom Fan" of Hannah.

Roy didn’t quite understand what "Mom Fan" meant, but he figured it was probably not much different from a regular fan, right?

Grace Yarn had just come down from upstairs when she ran into a few upper-crust ladies she knew from her social circle.

They were of similar age, but they weren’t close with Grace, only having heard about her when they were younger.

Most of it was how good her personality was and how popular she was.

Especially popular among the matriarchs of wealthy families.

That inevitably led to comparisons with their own children.
