"What are you two doing here?" Hiroshi asked the girls, a smile on his face after composing himself.
Aya turned to him, frowning. "What do you mean? We came to see Harumiko. What’s the problem?"
Hiroshi, seeing Aya’s expression, panicked. "No, no, go ahead. I’ll just listen."
Hanako smiled. "Actually, we wanted to talk about tomorrow. We’re going out to eat, right? Do you know any good restaurants? We haven’t decided yet."
Wow, that smile is amazing! She’s like an angel. Wait, what am I thinking? I have Harumiko. That’s not fair to her! Hiroshi thought, shaking his head.
Harumiko noticed his shaking head. "What’s wrong, Hiroshi?"
Hiroshi forced a smile. "Nothing, nothing."
The three girls’ eyes were on him, making him uncomfortable.
"Okay, okay, let’s decide where to eat. Don’t you guys usually go out to eat?" Hiroshi quickly changed the subject.
Aya thought for a moment. "We do, but we don’t know any particularly good places. And we don’t know your tastes, so let’s decide together. Then we can go there tomorrow."
The others agreed, thinking about their past dining experiences.
"I don’t go out to eat often, but the places I’ve been to have been delicious," Hanako said, smiling.
Hiroshi smiled. "As you know, I didn’t have many friends before, so I rarely ate out. Only a few times in the last few months. But the places I went to were all pretty good."
Aya considered this, then smiled at Harumiko. "Harumiko, any ideas?"
Harumiko paused, then smiled. "I have the perfect place! It suits everyone’s tastes and we can eat our fill: an all-you-can-eat buffet!
They have everything, and we can eat whatever we want. I know a great one; let’s go there!"
