Chapter 1205: Fusion Without Return

Namyanna’s expression tightened.

She hadn’t expected this horned monster to still be able to spike his power to this level.

At this point, she didn’t dare hold anything back.

She quickly pulled out a blue crystal.

The instant it appeared, the temperature of the world dropped again. This wasn’t normal cold—it was absolute, bottomless chill seeping out from the seams of space itself, like it meant to freeze energy in place. The surrounding ocean-tide force was pushed to the brink under the crystal’s influence. Ice-blue waves gathered again, heavier than before, dense enough to feel like they could crush bone.

A terrifying power condensed in Namyanna’s hands.

A massive scepter re-formed.

She gripped it with both hands. Behind her, the Sea God phantom raised its trident in sync—then slammed it down.

The horned monster drove his Powered Combat Armor as well. The horns floating around him spun at the same time, and every elemental force surged into his chest in one violent rush, forming a chaotic pillar of light that met Namyanna’s falling frost-tide head-on.

Their forces collided.

Ice and flame devoured each other. Tide and rock crashed against each other. Spatial power tore at the ice-blue waves—only to be locked in place by the extreme cold, forced into stillness. The aura released between heaven and earth turned savage beyond measure. Space itself was ripped open again and again, then crushed flat by the shockwaves.

This time, their powers finally deadlocked.

Namyanna’s absolute frost and ocean tide were ultimate forces.

The horned monster’s multi-element Powered Combat Armor had been pushed to its own limit.

Neither side could overwhelm the other right away.

When the scattered energy finally began to thin out, both of them hovered in midair, staring each other down like predators. Namyanna’s breathing turned ragged. Across from her, huge cracks spiderwebbed over the monster’s chest armor.

At this point, it came down to one last strike.

Rumble—!

Rumble—!

The leftover power between them churned and rolled, threatening to erupt again at any second.

Right as the stalemate held, an ice crystal spike appeared in Namyanna’s palm.

She didn’t give him time to react. With a snap of her wrist, she sent it cutting through the lingering tidal mist, straight at the horned monster’s chest. He barely started to lift his elemental armor to defend—

Too late.

The spike slipped through a crack in his chestplate and punched clean into his chest.

Pfft!

It burst out through his back.

The horned monster went rigid in midair. The horns floating around him dimmed all at once, their light snuffed out. The elemental Powered Combat Armor started to crumble inch by inch, like a statue collapsing from within.

And after doing all that, Namyanna hit her limit too.

Her body went limp.

She dropped from the sky.

Every shift on the battlefield went straight into Ethan’s eyes.

He saw Namyanna fight until she fell. He saw the other fronts around Emerald Castle still trapped in brutal struggles. And he knew—he couldn’t hesitate anymore.

The next instant, a horrifying power erupted from inside him.

The aura between heaven and earth answered like it had been summoned, converging on him and compressing into his chest. Transparent lightning, snow-white thunderlight, divine dragon essence blood, the fire-red crystal’s power, Primordial Core power, and the aura of The Infernal Abyss spun together, condensing into a massive lightning energy sphere right in front of his heart.

The energy it gave off was violent to the extreme.

Just a ripple of its overflow crushed the spatial turbulence raging nearby into nothing. Broken space was forcibly smoothed flat around the sphere—only to be pressed into fine, hairline fractures again by the deeper force churning inside it.

The Abyssal Empress’s face changed instantly.

"What are you trying to do?"

She stared at the lightning sphere in front of Ethan’s chest. For the first time, real fear surfaced in her eyes.

"You—You actually fused all your power together!"

She understood immediately what Ethan was doing.

"This is suicide!"

Her voice sharpened, turning shrill with panic.

"I’m warning you—release that energy now! Otherwise you’ll never reincarnate, you’ll be doomed forever!"

Ethan didn’t even look at her.

He kept coughing blood. More cracks spread across his chest. Still, he forced every last thread of his Primordial Core power into the sphere. When the final surge poured in, the lightning sphere swelled violently, and the arcs crawling over its surface turned almost transparent.

Ethan raised his hand—

—and slammed it forward.

The Abyssal Empress couldn’t pretend to be composed anymore.

She yanked out every treasure and energy sphere she had, all at once. The blood-red gemstone, abyss crystals, elemental cores—along with the remnants of those energy bodies she still hadn’t fully digested—stacked in front of her into a desperate wall.

Then she detonated everything, ripping their power loose in a single burst, and threw it into Ethan’s incoming lightning sphere.

The two forces collided.

A tyrannical shockwave rippled outward, spreading in all directions like a tide. The shattered space and violent turbulence left behind by their earlier fight were forcibly calmed under the weight of this even more terrifying impact. For a brief moment, the entire sky went quiet.

Then—

The Abyssal Empress was blasted away.

The fear in her eyes almost overflowed.

Ethan’s release this time was several times stronger than before. That lightning sphere smashed through most of her makeshift defense in one hit, and the remaining impact slammed into her body, driving her hard into the distant mountain wall.

Boom!

Her body crashed into the mountainside, and the whole section of the mountain collapsed on the spot.

Before she could even react, Ethan was already there.

He lifted his fist. Transparent lightning coiled around his knuckles, and his target was still the same—her shattered shoulder.

The first punch landed, and the shoulder’s outer defense broke apart.

The second punch landed, and thunderlight tore her flesh open.

The third, fourth, fifth—each strike came down in the exact same place.

Wave after wave of brutal force crashed through her. By the end, half of the Abyssal Empress’s body had been pounded into minced meat.

Bang!

The mountain wall caved again.

Her voice came from the rubble and the spray of blood-light. There was no lofty dominance left—only urgency, only panic.

"I already told you!"

She forced her ruined body to hold together, still trying to bargain.

"Your power is the strongest thing in this world!"

"If you’re willing to follow me, I can give you the purest The Infernal Abyss energy."

Her words sped up, tumbling out.

"You don’t need to stay here."

"I can make you a god of The Infernal Abyss!"

By now, the Abyssal Empress was completely rattled.

She kept talking, trying to shake Ethan’s resolve—trying to make him stop, trying to make him spare her.

Ethan didn’t listen.

Power continued to pour out of him, endlessly, condensing into one energy sphere after another in the air around him.

And then he drove them down.
