Chapter 1204: An Ocean in the Sky

The Abyssal Empress saw it too.

She lifted her chin slowly, her voice still laced with that same seductive pressure—soft, but heavy enough to crush.

"Kid. Your body’s at its limit, isn’t it?"

Her eyes traced the cracks splitting Ethan’s flesh, and her tone smoothed out, almost patient.

"Keep going like this, and your own power will blow you into minced meat."

She took a step forward. The shattered space around her trembled lightly with the motion, as if the air itself had to make room.

"Come to my side. Be my guardian."

Her gaze dropped to the energy sphere at Ethan’s chest.

"I can make you the supreme, unrivaled Supreme Deity of the Infernal Abyss."

She was still trying to talk him down.

After fighting this long, she had already felt how abnormal Ethan’s power was. If she kept forcing a head-on clash, she might not win as cleanly as she wanted. And more importantly—she had figured it out. Ethan’s current strength was being held up by fusion.

All she had to do was drag this out until the fusion ended.

Then he would crash into weakness.

That would be the perfect moment to strike back.

Of course, Ethan saw straight through her.

He wasn’t about to sit there and wait.

The next instant, his aura detonated. His whole body turned into a streak of transparent lightning and slammed forward, forcing his way in. The energy sphere at his chest erupted with savage light, shoving his ruined body onward again, as if it refused to fall apart until it got what it wanted.

The Abyssal Empress’s eyes widened.

She hadn’t expected him to be this stubborn. This relentless.

In the briefest pause—

Ethan was already in her face.

The transparent lightning wrapped around his fist crashed down with a roar, striking her shoulder with surgical precision.

Bang!

The same weak point he had hammered again and again.

Those dozen energy bodies had healed it earlier, sure—but after a fight this long, that repair power had already been burned down. It couldn’t hold her at peak anymore. The moment the transparent lightning landed, a web of cracks split open across her shoulder again.

Ethan didn’t stop.

He drove into those cracks like he was prying open a door.

The first punch shattered the outer layer of defense.

The second sent transparent lightning deep into flesh.

The third tore along the fractures, ripping open the energy circulation inside her shoulder.

Once the lightning seeped into the Abyssal Empress, it began to spread through blood, flesh, and meridians. If he kept this up, it wouldn’t take long before he shredded this part of her body completely.

At the same time, the rest of the battlefield had turned into pure hell.

Namyanna hovered in midair, the trident in her hands trembling nonstop. Extreme frost poured from the weapon’s tip in an endless stream, becoming an ice-blue flood that slammed forward in wave after wave.

The opponent she had been fighting earlier had already been erased under that absolute cold—spirit scattered, soul gone.

But the thing standing across from her now was different.

A hulking monster covered in horns.

It was massive, towering, and every horn radiated a different elemental force. Flame burned along one. Lightning danced along another. Poison mist, stone, storm, darkness—and an even deeper, more unsettling spatial aura—interlaced and clashed. All of it fused into a presence that felt brutally solid, like it could crush everything simply by existing.

Namyanna’s frost had reached its peak... but it barely worked on him.

When the ice-blue tide hit, it only froze a layer of frost armor across his surface. The next moment, the horns on his body lit up together. Flames and spatial power shuddered in a single crosswise surge—

—and the ice shattered completely.

This fight was ugly.

After another heavy collision, both sides were forced back, drifting to opposite ends of the sky.

Namyanna’s chest rose and fell violently. Even the cold light on her trident flickered for a moment. She controlled extreme ice and ocean power—fighting in the sky was never the environment where she could fully unleash her strength. Up here, with no sea, her power was being squeezed.

But that monster?

It was different.

Among his fused elements was terrifying spatial power. The surrounding energy behaved like it had found its owner, streaming into him without end. In just a few breaths, he had already recovered more than half of what he had spent.

If this kept repeating, Namyanna didn’t stand a chance.

Unless... she found a way to recover fast too.

While those two forces tangled overhead, something clicked in Namyanna’s mind.

She lowered her eyes to the scepter in her hand.

This was high altitude—not the ocean. Not the deep sea domain. Her extreme frost and sea authority were meant to bloom in water, where their full weight could come down. But the battlefield was suspended in the sky, surrounded by broken space and chaotic energy. There wasn’t enough environment to support her sustained output.

If there was no ocean here—

Then she would make one.

Namyanna tightened her fingers and crushed the scepter in her grip.

Boom!

The moment it broke, violent extreme frost exploded from her palm. Ice-blue light shot upward, and between heaven and earth, a colossal Sea God phantom condensed into existence. The figure held a trident and wore a robe of tides. There was no seawater under its feet—yet the entire sky thundered with the roar of waves, forced into being by sheer authority.

Not long after, an overwhelming tidal power erupted in the high air.

Ice-blue waves appeared out of nothing, layer after layer rolling forward. They swallowed the horned monster—and every nearby enemy—with no room to dodge. Those enemies had been floating freely a heartbeat before, but once wrapped in the tide’s power, their movements slowed instantly. Thick frost climbed over their bodies like a sentence.

Excitement flashed in Namyanna’s eyes.

Her hands moved rapidly through the air, and the tide answered, rising in stacked surges. The first wave curled up from below. The second slammed from the side. The third crashed down from above. Three forces crossed into an ice-blue vortex, blotting out the sky as it ground toward the horned monster.

The horned monster’s eyes went wide.

He hadn’t expected Namyanna to force an ocean-tide environment into existence in the sky.

Now he didn’t dare slack off for even a breath. The monster reached to his chest, pulled out a snow-white pearl, and crushed it.

Crack!

The pearl split, and the energy sealed inside poured into his body in an instant.

The next moment, the horned monster erupted with power beyond anything before. The horns across his body tore free, floating into the air around him. Each horn represented a different element—flame, storm, stone, poison mist, lightning, shadow, and space—flaring at the same time.

Elemental energy flooded in endlessly, assembling around him into a suit of Powered Combat Armor.

It wasn’t metal. It was a pure element-forged structure—shoulder plates like mountain rock, a chestplate flowing with thunder and fire, and behind him, spatial light-patterns flickering like broken coordinates.

When the armor fully formed, it forced the surrounding tidal power back, prying it apart by brute presence.

Boom!

A blast of energy unlike anything before detonated outward, shaking Namyanna’s gathered tides into a storm of ice-blue shards.
