Chapter 330: Fight the Controller (2)

Chapter 328

Seeing as the two humans were falling at it with different attacks meant to damage, the controller lifted a bone spear in a horizontal position as the duo crashed into the spear raised above the guardian’s head.

BAM—! BOOOM—!

The ground immediately caved in under the controller’s feet as the duo crashed into the spear with all their might.

Chunks of bones and soil were thrown into the air as the creature’s knees almost buckled from the heavy weight the teens exuded.

The very next second, it could feel something wrapping around its waist.

Looking down, a golden lasso connected to the hands of the silver-haired boy was tightly wrapped around his waist.

Before it could think, the boy tugged with all his might as veins could be seen appearing on his neck and arms—bulging with incredible force.

The next second, its hands left the spear, causing Trisha and Kai to go crashing down while the controller shot forward, toward the boy who instantly dispersed the golden lasso.

[Sparkshot Activated]

Lightning arced around his hand which was cocked backward and soon, he shot it forward, sending a strike of lightning crashing into the creature and sending a wave of electrocuting pain coursing through its bony body as it almost crashed into the ground.

Bang—!

A beam tore forward, speeding toward its head.

The controller quickly yanked his hands in front of his face in time as the beam smashed into its guard with heavy force, so much so that he was almost lifted off the ground.

But before it could totally rise into the air, a golden lasso wrapped around its legs and with a powerful yank, the monster smashed into the ground with tremendous force.

A cloud of dust rose into the air with the ground cracking under its body.

And then, the lasso wrapped around Trisha’s waist and flung her into the air before yanking her back down with her ice sword pointed forward as she spun mid-air, gathering momentum with the help of Chloe’s telekinetic ability.

Soon, she cut through the cloud of dust, ready to plow her sword into the controller’s head, only for the creature to roll around, allowing the girl to smash into the ground and send chunks of earth shooting into the air.

Like a bullet, the creature shot toward the girl with its hand speeding toward her face like a siege ram.

Luckily, the lasso was connected to her waist and with a pull by Ray, she was yanked out of the way—shooting out of the dust like a sniper bullet, just in the nick of time.

The controller’s heavy fist smashed into the empty air with a resounding crash that shook the very ground.

Swinging his hands into the air continuously, Ray sent jagged claw strikes shooting toward the creature, who lifted its head to look at this.

Instead of dodging or repositioning itself, the creature lifted its claws and began clashing with the strikes from Ray.

Each swing and parry was so efficient that for a moment, the Tribrid faltered with a confused gaze, too stunned to even move.

’Was this even beastly anymore?’

The moment the creature smashed the very last strike, Kai could be seen sliding in between its legs.

He shot into the air and then landed a twin heavy kick into the controller’s face, sending it stumbling backward for a moment.

The boy wasn’t done.

A crystal spear instantly appeared in his hand, which he thrust toward the creature’s chest.

But with a fluid spin, the controller avoided this attack, allowing for Kai’s spear to slice harmlessly through the empty air.

The controller’s leg shot toward the boy’s side with lightning speed.

However, a golden lasso wrapped around his waist in time, pulling him out of danger just as the foot crashed heavily into empty air.

A beam tore toward the creature’s head, but with an agile movement, it leaned aside, allowing the beam to smash into the earth.

Reaching behind it, a pair of bone swords shot into the creature’s hands as it shifted into a stance, gesturing with one of the blades at the teens in a silent ’come at me’ motion.

"Gladly," Trisha coldly muttered, and with no hesitation whatsoever, she pounced forward.

"Chloe! Send a sword my way now!" Ray shouted as he too bolted forward, his hand stretched high into the air.

With the help of her ability, Chloe guided a stray bone sword straight toward the boy’s hand.

Wrapping his fingers tightly around the hilt, Ray’s jaws clenched hard as he and Trisha managed to reach the creature simultaneously.

And immediately, the air buzzed.

The ground erred and shuddered as a clash of pure, efficient swordsmanship descended into the arena.

Contrary to what they originally thought—that the monster was just blindly spamming weapons—it seemed the controller was able to effectively utilize them like a master.

In a way, its skill and ability were directly similar to one of Ray’s Tribrid perks: "Weapon Mastery."

Colliding with Trisha’s sword, the beast managed to parry her away and then whirled around instantly to deflect Ray’s follow-up slash, before shooting its hand backward in a rapid sword thrust toward Trisha.

The girl spun around quickly, allowing the sword to slice through her side, ripping through her uniform as she completely committed to a descending slash toward the monster’s shoulder structure.

However, with uncanny agility, the controller vaulted backward.

Ray pressed his feet into the ground.

The soil beneath him exploded backward as he launched himself forward, colliding with the controller in a relentless exchange of rapid, razor-precise strikes.

Claws and swords came from every direction, but the boy parried each of them away with stark efficiency.

Throwing his hand to the side, an orb of light spun violently as he thrust it forward, but with lightning speed, the guardian shot sideways, allowing the orb to plow through the ground with explosive force.

The soil immediately bent beneath the guardian’s feet as it let go of one sword and then proceeded to launch forward with a burst of speed far beyond what Ray was currently capable of matching.

It appeared in front of the boy in a single second and, without hesitation, it swung its hand forward, bashing it directly into Ray’s abdomen.

The air was knocked clean out of his lungs as blood and saliva sprayed into the air from the sheer kinetic impact.

Bang—!

Ray’s body shot backward like a sniper bullet.
