Chapter 734: Chapter 734: Almost Got Hit to Death
Just now, she glanced at Melody Thorne’s votes that had already stopped moving.
"Okay."
Melody Thorne hung up the phone and suddenly thought of something, sending a text to Nina King: "Tell Howie to keep calm and not act impulsively."
"Okay, I know."
"Sleep," Jared Quinn dominantly took away her phone.
Melody Thorne was originally a bit angry, but suddenly his actions made her laugh, "Mr. Quinn, your wife is now branded as a seductress, aren’t you afraid that you’ve got a lush green field on your head?"
Indeed, all the artists under her company are men, and there are twenty of them, ranging in all types from beefcakes to pretty boys.
Jared Quinn wrapped her in his arms, "It’s okay, as long as I know the truth, that’s enough. Whether others know or not doesn’t matter. In fact, it’s better if all your male fans get lost because of this incident."
Melody Thorne "!!!"
"They won’t all leave," Melody Thorne muttered under her breath.
Waking up in the morning.
Melody Thorne’s phone was practically blowing up with calls, from Nina King, some company artists, and Kiki Sutton and the others.
"Hello?"
"Melody, I’m at the bar, damn it, the bar staff said someone hacked into their management system yesterday, and all the surveillance footage from the bar is gone."
She had originally wanted to find some evidence to suppress the situation, but found nothing.
"I understand, come to the villa first."
Ten minutes later, Nina King arrived at the Quinn Family villa, but in a mess, with what seemed like bruises on her head.
"What happened to your head?"
"Don’t ask," Nina King was furious, "Those idiots saw me come out, knew I was your manager, and pelted me without distinguishing right from wrong. I was almost hit to death by them."
Melody Thorne averted her gaze, "Go take a shower and change your clothes first."
Nina King changed clothes, her face particularly gloomy, "Just now, we got a call saying that Fat Sister ran away, can’t find her, and even the artist who betrayed our company has fled."
"Don’t worry about them for now, come with me," Melody Thorne handed her a mask.
"Where are we going?"
"You’ll find out when we get there."
The car stopped in front of an apartment building. Melody Thorne got out wearing a mask and hat, unrecognizable, and went straight up to the tenth floor.
"Is this the address of that actor’s family?" Nina King pointed to the door ahead.
"Yes."
The door opened, and an elderly woman in her sixties greeted them, "Who are you?"
Melody Thorne pulled down her mask, smiling, "Hello, I’m the owner of Justin Lawson’s company. Today, we’re here mainly to look around his family situation. He seems to be emotionally unstable lately, and we’re worried he might do something bad, so we came to talk to his family."
"Ah, come in, come in."
Justin Lawson’s family didn’t know about the incident, and Melody Thorne had accurately anticipated this. So, she had someone investigate all his information and found his family’s address.
"Can we borrow your phone?" Nina King stood up, "We didn’t inform Justin Lawson about our visit today, so I’ll call him and let him know we’re at your home."
"Oh, sure, go ahead."
Nina King used the home phone from Justin Lawson’s family to dial his mobile number, and sure enough, he answered, "Grandma?"
