Chapter 1612: Chapter 1612: Trapped in the Tiger’s Den

"Thank you, but I don’t want to eat."

Yiyi became increasingly wary, feeling something was amiss no matter how she looked at it.

The flight attendant continued smiling, "Miss, this plane is heading overseas. It will take about six or seven hours to arrive, and I’m afraid you’ll get hungry."

"What did you say, heading overseas?" Yiyi’s face changed suddenly, almost jumping up, "This is supposed to be the flight to the Elan Islands, did you make a mistake?"

Could it be that she got on the wrong plane? Yiyi hurriedly checked, no mistake.

This is the plane, so what’s going on?

The flight attendant said, "It was originally, but it changed last minute, now it’s flying overseas, the flight to the Elan Islands is a different one."

"Last minute change, why wasn’t I notified?" Yiyi was furious, "And why am I the only passenger on this plane."

"There’s also me!" A familiar voice came from behind, carrying a hint of smugness.

Yiyi abruptly turned around, staring in shock at Ji Lingkong leaning against the chair, arms crossed, lips slightly curled.

"You, how are you here?" Yiyi instantly felt things were going very wrong.

Ji Lingkong raised his eyebrows, "I chartered this plane, if I’m not here, who should be?"

Yiyi cautiously scanned around, aside from the cabin crew, there was absolutely no one else, clearly, this flight attendant had long been bought off with sweet talk.

Now she had no idea where this plane was headed, still high in the sky, unable to communicate or contact anyone for help, others wouldn’t even know her whereabouts, because even if they checked her ticket, they’d only find she went to the Elan Islands.

So now she was completely within Brother Ling Kong’s sphere of influence.

She was now deep in the tiger’s den, her future uncertain.

"What do you mean by this, you actually followed me and abducted me." Yiyi gritted her teeth, furious and somewhat at a loss.

Ji Lingkong spread his hands innocently, "I didn’t force you on the plane, you got on the wrong plane yourself, how can you blame me?"

Yiyi felt even angrier. If it weren’t for him deliberately arranging this trap and not allowing anyone to notify her, she wouldn’t have foolishly walked into it. Clearly, he designed this to trap her.

But now, being under someone else’s roof, she had to lower her head. No matter how angry she was, being all alone left her in a disadvantageous situation, unable to be arrogant.

If she angered Brother Ling Kong, her personal safety would be in jeopardy.

"Where is this plane heading?" She tried hard to hold back her anger.

"Xx island."

Yiyi’s brows knitted tightly, her small face wrinkled; what kind of island was this? She’d never heard of it, it was definitely not a famous tourist spot or a commercial area.

Apparently seeing her confusion, Ji Lingkong explained, "This is an island the Ji Family purchased overseas, intending to develop it into a tourist resort."

Yiyi felt even worse in her heart, didn’t this mean that after getting off the plane, she’d still be within his sphere of influence?

And it being under development proved there were no tourists yet, making it difficult to seek help.

"What exactly do you want?" she directly asked, a bit unable to keep her cool.

Ji Lingkong walked over, gazing deeply at her, extending his fingers to stroke her fluffed-up little head.

"Don’t be upset, I’m just inviting you on a vacation."

"Invite? This kind of forced ’invitation’, I really can’t endure." Yiyi looked at him coldly, full of sarcasm.

Ji Lingkong ignored her sarcasm, his gaze still gentle.

"Anyway, you planned on going out for a break, so why not go anywhere?"

"I’d be happy to go anywhere, but the place where you are, I’m not happy at all."
