The Godfather’s face turned faintly grim at being so blatantly threatened; the veins on the back of his hand throbbed as he let out a cold snort.

"Then what are your terms?"
"To completely sever all ties between Jun Huang and the Su Family, you must never control him again."
The Godfather forced a smile: "You’re being naive. He’s willing to work for me, even if I agreed to release him, he’d likely come back on his own. Men, after all, want to be at the pinnacle of their careers, driven by ambition and desire. I haven’t forced him, and you, as a smart woman, shouldn’t be an obstacle to him."
Ye Lu sneered: "Since you didn’t force him, I want you to destroy those documents threatening him."
