Chapter 2827: Chapter 943: The Origin of Bloodlines, the End of Fate
Murphy quickly received Natalie’s report.
He and Triss urgently interrupted their holiday in Cardman City and rushed back to the Maginot Line. The Druids moved swiftly, almost simultaneously upon Murphy’s return, delivering Huggesen’s Throne Wolf and the letter it left for Murphy together.
Lady Bonnie personally escorted them, and upon seeing Murphy and Natalie, she reported:
"The spine of this Throne Wolf was cruelly broken. The attacker didn’t want it to die quickly but merely to torment it, and judging from those wounds, it’s very likely Huggesen did it himself. But considering Huggesen’s previous affection and care for this Throne Wolf, it’s unlikely this was from his own will.
Therefore, it can be basically determined that the information described in this letter is true.
Huggesen has been seized by The Master of Hunting, and he is leading the last tens of thousands of Wolf Man Rioters in a frenzied charge towards the Swamp Forbidden Area."
"They actually went there?"
Murphy raised his eyebrows in surprise, and Triss beside him also showed a look of astonishment.
In their predictions, The Master of Hunting seizing Huggesen’s body was a probable event, but the most likely choice should have been to break out towards the Ligurian Peninsula, attempting to seize control of the Wolf People there and establish an earthly heaven for the Evil God, rather than continue waiting for death in the Polluted Swamp.
As a result, The Master of Hunting made a decision beyond predictions, which made Murphy very curious about what this guy really intends to do.

He first took the cleaned piece of beast hide, on which the scribble-like handwriting could be confirmed to be by Huggesen, but this piece of beast hide was definitely not written recently. Judging from the wear state, this letter has been preserved for quite some time.
Murphy looked at this letter.
It was very short, but the information it revealed was not simple.
"To Mr. Morphy, Governor of Transylvania,
By the time you see this letter, I have likely already lost my self to The Master of Hunting, seized by it. From the moment I accepted Lord Felix’s suggestion to become God’s Chosen, I knew this outcome would likely happen.
This is also the conclusion I planned for myself.
If this letter reaches your hands, it means the Army of Dark Disaster I’ve commanded has already failed. Please try your best to kill them. The Wolf People who have followed me here are all diehard followers of The Master of Hunting. They are hopeless tumors both to the civilized camps and to the Wolf People.
On the battlefield a few days ago, I have confirmed that you have the ability to suppress the Evil God, so inviting you to be my executioner upon my death ensures the highest likelihood that the Evil God will perish on the spot.
Therefore, I ask you to be straightforward when the time comes.
I plan to take Shadow Valley as the hiding place for the elderly, women, and children of the Split Claw Clan after I capture it. I will choose a qualified Military Governor, one not poisoned by The Master of Hunting, to manage and protect them.
After my death, these members of the Split Claw Clan should be included under the management of Mr. Wise Wolf, as ordered by the last Great Chief of the Split Claw Clan.
This letter is the proof!
At the end, I want to say some words of apology, expressing remorse for the destruction our Wolf People have caused to the civilized camps over the past centuries, but I realize that this complex history will not vanish with just a few words of apology from me. Therefore, I can only die as the last werewolf villain, and leave the aftermath to those who come after.
Wise Wolf seems like an intelligent enough character; perhaps he can come up with more effective methods. If you see this letter, please convey to Wise Wolf to take good care of my wife and children.
---- Huggesen, Great Chief of the Split Claw Clan, on the Shadow Valley battlefield."
"This must have been written after I defeated him for the first time."

Murphy handed the letter in his hand to Triss.
General Kuder and Maxim, who just arrived, also got to see this ’last words’ from the God’s Chosen Military Governor, which significantly overturned Huggesen’s image in their minds. However, for those who had been speculating, this letter was the final evidence.
To prove the offense and defense battle of the Maginot Line was a planned ’harmless treatment’ of the Wolf Man Rioters orchestrated by Huggesen in collaboration with Murphy.
"The only God’s Chosen of The Master of Hunting turned out to be its biggest traitor... This is indeed the craziest betrayal and the biggest black humor of the century."
Lady Lionea expressed her sentiment after reading the letter, and everyone in the command post nodded to this conclusion.
But Murphy did not engage in the discussion.
He now crouched down, looking at the Throne Wolf Death Claw covered in wounds before him. This guy previously accepted the power granted by The Master of Hunting along with Huggesen, but now the hunting divine power belonging to it has been brutally extracted by the god, making it revert back to the posture of an ordinary Throne Wolf.
The Master of Hunting’s abuse of it was not merely to disgust Huggesen. Surely, the god is very weak, even to the point of needing to consume the divine power on a Throne Wolf.
Murphy had long learned to communicate in beast language from Avalon’s Blessing. He reached out his hand, placing it on Death Claw’s forehead, and asked:
"Do you have any information you can provide me? As the companion who grew up with Huggesen like a brother, if you give me enough information, I might be able to let him suffer less when he dies."
