Chapter 2826: Chapter 942: Divine Spirit Says Go Wherever You Want! Can the Divine Spirit Even Harm You? _3
The Druids ventured across the fire field to conduct a reconnaissance of the camp. They confirmed the news, and the Druid lady with a scar on her face transformed into an eagle and approached Huggesen’s chieftain tent.
Built on high ground, not yet engulfed by flames, she cautiously entered and was met with the sight of torn bodies, making her feel a wave of disgust.
Just as she was about to turn and leave, she sensed a dying breath from the Throne Wolf in the corner of the camp.
The Druid lady hesitated a little.
She knew this Throne Wolf named "Deathclaw," Huggesen’s most cherished hunting partner. Every time the Great Marshal of the Jackal Wolves made an appearance, Deathclaw was by his side. Many brave warriors have perished under this ravenous wolf’s claws.
She ought to kill this ferocious beast here or leave it to burn in the flames, but Deathclaw seemed to sense the approach of a stranger, emitting a series of mournful cries with its last strength.
As if its mouth was obstructed by something.
This piqued the Druid lady’s curiosity. A skilled scout, she noticed something bizarre in the wolf’s tragic posture and approached with her thorny wood wand, wary of being fiercely bitten.
But Deathclaw didn’t bite her.
It lacked the strength to attack.

When the Master of Hunting inhabited Huggesen’s body, it tried to help its master but ended up being beaten like this by the furious Evil God.
The Master of Hunting didn’t kill it simply out of spite for Huggesen, aware of Huggesen’s affection for Deathclaw. It was considered a cruel punishment for a traitor.
Under the Druid’s gaze, Deathclaw coughed, spitting out the animal hide hidden in its mouth, then used its claws to gesture for the Druid to take it away, and then closed its eyes, accepting its death.
With a hint of disdain, the Druid lady picked up the saliva-soaked animal hide and unfolded it before her eyes.
It was a letter.
The opening line being "To Mr. Morphy personally," made the Druid lady’s eyes widen. After a quick scan, she abruptly stood up, shaking, and fished out a special seed used by Avalon Believers to contact one another, directly summoning High Priestess Natalie still in Cardman City.
"What? The divine soul of the Master of Hunting is hidden in Huggesen’s body? The Jackal Wolves left a message seeking Lord Morphy’s cooperation to annihilate the Evil God together?"
Natalie’s incredulous response quickly transmitted back via the seed. She exclaimed:
"Bonnie, are you sure you didn’t drink during today’s hunting pursuit?"
"I didn’t!"
The Druid lady retorted indignantly:
"I only drink a little of that grain-brewed beverage off-duty, to numb myself from those painful past events. It’s a healing method, not merely for pleasure. High Priestess, how could you slander me like this!"
"Apologies... it’s just that the message you sent is too shocking. Hold on, I will report to Sir Morphy right away."
Natalie advised:
"Immediately take the letter to the teleportation gate at Wolf Castle and come to the Maginot Line."
"Okay, High Priestess."
The Druid lady named Bonnie responded, then glanced at the Throne Wolf Deathclaw lying at her feet, awaiting death with closed eyes. She asked:
"This beast... I know it’s committed many sins, but perhaps we can use Druid beast language to extract more information from it. The Jackal Wolves have already left, set the camp ablaze, and no one knows their current condition.
This obviously feels wrong."
"Bring it to Wolf Castle for some treatment... no, bring it directly to the Maginot Line. I will question it personally."

Natalie said solemnly:
"Gather the warriors in the swamp; we mustn’t allow the divine soul of the Master of Hunting to escape again. In the name of Avalon, this Evil God has caused too many tragedies in our world; it deserves total obliteration as punishment!"
"Okay, High Priestess."
Bonnie nodded, put away the seed, called her companions to assemble, and reached out to summon a bit of healing power to apply to the Throne Wolf.
This confused Deathclaw into opening its eyes, seeing the Druid with the scar on her face, who stared at it with a stern look and said:
"Don’t think you can die so easily; you’ll face judgment for those wicked deeds you’ve done!"
"Awo?"
Deathclaw made a puzzled nasal sound.
What, are you humans crazy or what!
I’m almost dying, can’t you let me leave peacefully? My master has already resolved to die; I’ve just taken a step ahead. Can you not even fulfill such a humble wish of a mere beast?
