Chapter 686: *I will certainly beat them up...*

Kevin then quickly bought a pair of medium-grade daggers for Willow from his store’s system, since the Black Elves’ strength seemed to match this grade.

He then told Willow, "Use only these daggers to fight and no other weapons. You can also use your elements, but Dad will temporarily seal your powers so that this fight can be a fair one."

Axel then drew a rune in the air in front of Willow, and when the rune touched her, she felt that all her stats dropped considerably, and even her soul force was restricted.

Axel then told her, "You wanted to fight so badly against them that I found this solution for you to be able to test your ability against them. You are our daughter, so use the fighting techniques you have learned from us, especially those that Daddy taught you."

Axel then looked at the daggers that Kevin had bought for her and said, "Remember what you learned this afternoon while fighting against those Skeletons, and everything will be fine. Plus, since there will be three against you, and since they can use vines, as Daddy told you, you can use your elements and your wings... But for safety reasons, I also sealed your Sacred Fire energy."

Willow then nodded; she knew that she should keep a calm mind, but it was her first duel ever, and thanks to her daddies, it would be a fair one where she could measure her strength... She was so excited.

Kevin then put his hand on her head as Peter was also advising the Black Elves’ kids, and he said, kneeling down to look into her eyes, "Calm down, breathe slowly, and be careful with your soul force consumption. Use the wind element to increase your speed and the fire element to break through if they ever succeed in restraining you. Use your daggers against their vines and weapons, and use your fists and any part of your body against them—beat them up..."

Axel then coughed, and Kevin added, "But not too badly; otherwise, Dad won’t be happy."

Kevin winked at her while Axel was shaking his head helplessly. Peter then led them to a kind of arena, and in less than ten minutes, the bleachers were almost full. Just as Peter was about to start the countdown for the duel, Kevin told him, "Wait a few more minutes; they are coming back, and they want to see their fight."

Peter smiled at him and said to the Black Elves’ kids, "You are going to meet our saviors, and Willow is their granddaughter, which is why her dad has to seal her powers. Even though she already has a good mastery of them, if she feels threatened and releases her true powers against you, you will be in danger, but now you are safe. Don’t forget the rules and my advice: work as a team, and I’m sure you will be able to impress them all."

The Black Elves’ kids were as excited as Willow; it was rare for them to meet such a strong opponent, and they would finally be able to measure their strength.

While waiting for Elias, Miguel, Mykael, Colin, the Warrior Spirits, and Maya to come back, Kevin then asked Willow, "How do you feel now that Dad has sealed your powers? Do you want to try your powers on me to be able to adjust before starting your fight?"

But Willow shook her head and said to him, "Don’t worry; I will follow your advice, and I will certainly beat them up..."

Kevin put a hand over his daughter’s mouth while coughing and said to Axel, "She didn’t mean it that way; she just wants to fight, right, sweetie?"

Willow then smiled at Axel to reassure him and said, "That’s right; I just want to fight!"

She then winked at Kevin with a playful yet mischievous smile, that looked like of the one he wore before a fight, and then she began to twirl her daggers while locking her gaze onto her three opponents.

The three kids then felt a shiver running down their spines, and they looked at each other, wondering how a cute little girl like her could make them shiver in fear.

They all opened their hands, and their vines came out of them through small light green vortexes. The girl’s vines were brown like those of the boys, but you could also see green lines on them, which should be the healing power that Peter was talking about.

Suddenly, a multicolored vortex appeared in the arena, and Elias and the others came out of it.

They all went to join Kevin and Axel, while Maya and Peter’s Master went to join Peter and the kids.

The kids knelt down in front of Maya, who knelt down too and told them, while caressing their heads to show them her support, "Good kids, let’s show our friends what the Black Elves are capable of. Have a fair fight, and don’t forget that it is better to admit your defeat than to get hurt."

The kids then said in unison, "Yes, your Highness!"

Maya then looked at Willow and frowned when she felt that her powers had decreased a lot. She started to panic, wondering what had happened, but then Axel teleported next to her and said, "Do not worry about my daughter. Since you have seen her fight, you know how powerful her attacks can be, so I have temporarily sealed 80% of her powers, which should be enough for our kids to have a fair fight."

Maya then stuttered, "80... 80% of her powers? You had to seal so much of it."

Axel then smiled at her and said, "I gave your kids a power advantage since Willow had been taught some special fighting techniques by her Daddy."

Axel then turned to the kids before teleporting back next to Kevin and Willow, "I wish you luck, kids, and never underestimate my daughter, or this fight won’t last long."
