Chapter 681: *The five towers*
Willow then smiled, her good mood finally back, and she was even excited to see what was on the other side of the barrier.
Her Daddies moved forward, passing through this barrier, and they all widened their eyes as this barrier had just teleported them somewhere else, and surprisingly, the space in front of them was now boundless.
Kevin then asked Axel, not really sure of where they were right now, "Is it a dimension?"
Axel nodded and opened his senses to the maximum of their capacity before telling them, "We are still in this world, but this nature’s energy seems to have created a space especially for the Black Elves here. There are a few portals that can lead us into the forest, and we aren’t restricted. Willow will be able to train here, and we can also use our personal dimension or the prison dimension, so everyone is safe."
They were at the edge of a huge cliff, and they could see the kingdom of the Black Elves with a bird’s-eye view from where they were... and it was magnificent.
There was only one city, but it was huge, and it was surrounded by mountains, lakes, and a beautiful forest where the trees seemed very old, and the nature’s energy here was even denser than in the forest they just left.
The healer then formed a circle with his vines in front of them, and suddenly a vortex appeared. Kevin exclaimed when he understood what had happened, "A teleportation portal... But I thought that you couldn’t use spiritual energy?"
The healer then said, smiling at him, "I didn’t use it; I used the nature’s energy to open this teleportation portal. It will be quicker this way to reach the city."
The healer then motioned for the other Black Elves to use it first, and then Peter led the way. The city of the Black Elves wasn’t made of wood; this city was built using the rock of the mountains, so all the houses and the five towers that surrounded a kind of palace were all of the same color.
They were all a white marble color, and only the five towers, which were built like a spear pointing to the sky, were a little bit different, and they were shining as if they were made of silver.
Once in the city, they were immediately led to the palace since that was where Maya and Peter lived when they weren’t fighting.
When they passed by one of the huge towers, Kevin asked them, "What do you use these towers for?"
The strong spiritual energy that he felt when passing by surprised him, and that was why he had asked this question... Obviously, these towers were not just there for design purposes.
The healer then told them, "These five towers can not only defend us if we are attacked, but we can all train here. As you can see, the first levels are quite large, and every Black Elve who wants to train and meditate can use these levels."
He added, "Then, starting from the fourth floor, only those who wish to become stronger can use it, and you have to meet certain requirements to be able to advance in the tower’s floors. There are ten floors in each tower, and they are all similar; even Maya has never reached the tenth floor."
He then said, when he saw that they were all looking at the tower with bright eyes, "Of course, this training is not specific to the Black Elves. If you want to try out the towers, you will just have to register first. The instructors will then give all of you a pass that will indicate the requirements you have to meet in order to be able to advance to the next floor. Your performance will also be registered, and if you perform well, you might appear on our honor board that shows everyone the 100 best results."
Willow then clapped her hands and said excitedly, "Daddies, let’s try it! It seems very fun."
The healer was about to protest, as Willow only looked like a 5-year-old girl right now. She had made her wings disappear after fighting the Skeletons and hadn’t used her aura to threaten the evil beings since she was already in Kevin’s arms.
So Axel told him, to reassure him, "Do not worry about our daughter; we will look after her. Even though she is still very young, Willow is the first Divine Phoenix, so trust me, she is qualified to train in your towers."
The healer repeated, not believing his ears, "A Divine Phoenix... Is that true?"
Kevin then told Willow, "Sweetie, show him your wings and your Sacred Fire energy; it will be enough to reassure him and get a pass to train in these towers..."
Kevin then added, looking at the tower that was shining as if millions of diamonds were imbued in it, "If even Maya couldn’t reach the 10th level, I’m really curious about what kind of training we will undergo."
Willow then smiled at the healer and made her wings appear, where her golden runic symbols were. As they started glowing, she conjured up a small quantity of her Sacred Fire energy, and as the healer felt the powerful energy coming from Willow’s aura and from her Sacred Fire energy, he bowed his head and said, "I’m sorry; I was just worried as the training in these towers is very tough, but of course, you can all go and train inside them..."
Suddenly, they all looked in the same direction and saw a silver vortex appear, and a Black Elf was thrown by it towards the ground and was unconscious.
Vines suddenly protected him before he hit the ground, and the silver vortex had already vanished. Kevin had never felt something like that before, and the healer then showed them the guards around the tower and told them, "They are called the watchers, and it is one of them that has used the vines to catch him."
