Chapter 650: *What a perfect timing*

In any case, Sliman then thought, if one dies, the other would follow, so he might as well follow Lilith’s advice and focus on this Warrior Spirit, who was continuing to inflict wounds on him despite all the Divine energy he was now able to mobilize.

Most Gods used golden particles to fight, whereas those like Lilith, who had chosen a different path, now used black particles, which were much stronger than the golden ones.

But only those filled with hatred and those with corrupted souls, meaning that they enjoyed making others suffer, killing just for fun, or torturing their victims, could use these black particles.

When he met Lilith, he still didn’t know, after all these millennia, that black particles existed and that they were part of the Divine energy that he could use at will.

Lilith helped him master it, and since then, he could only see the black particles and not the golden ones anymore. But he didn’t regret his choice, as the black particles were far stronger than the golden ones.

Before using the black particles, he had been able to advance to God level 6 only by killing other Gods and stealing their powers.

But since he started using the black ones, he had advanced on his own to God level 8, and by using the special pills of concentrated Evil Divine Element that Lilith had created especially for Gods, he was able to temporarily access the powers of a God level 10/10.

But that was also why he knew that using such great powers had consequences, because as soon as he stopped swallowing these black pills, he knew he would be vulnerable for the next few days... Well, vulnerable only if other Gods came after him, which was impossible thanks to this shield.

Kevin was really trying hard to kill this asshole, but no matter how powerful his attacks were, they were useless against this Ancient God.

He still didn’t have enough power to be able to kill him at the moment, even while using his Stage 3, but his powers were strong enough to injure him, which was still better than nothing.

It meant that he wasn’t too far from Sliman’s powers and that with more training and soon his Priest powers, he could fight against opponents of God level 10/10 on par with them.

As Kevin couldn’t get rid of him, and since he only had 30 seconds before his Stage 3 deactivated on its own, he then teleported near the General Wizard, who was the only one left to kill, as Atlas, Solomon, Maya, and Peter had taken care of the others.

He blew up the energy reserve of this General Wizard with Willow’s sacred fire, and as Sliman was pushing back the attacks of his Chains of Restraint, he said hurriedly to the others, "Go back inside the cave; I’m going to use golden particles to get rid of all the summoned creatures at once."

Atlas then asked him, "And Axel, should we bring him inside too?"

Kevin shook his head and told them, "Axel won’t be affected by this attack; just go and stay under the protection of your force field and my Chains of Restraint..."

He then added, using a communication stone, "The reinforcements are coming, so don’t worry too much about us, and go to safety."

Atlas then hurried the others to leave, helping them by killing the summoned creatures they were fighting against.

As his Chains of Restraint were still battling this Ancient God, keeping him busy, he saw that he had only 10 seconds left before reverting to Stage 2. So he joined Axel, who was surrounded by Dead Knights and Dead Wizards.

Sometimes getting annoyed, Axel would send a wave of Divine energy to kill them all, but as they were not a threat to him, sometimes he let them bombard him with their attacks, which were completely useless against his shield made of golden particles.

Even though some of their attacks were made of black particles, they weren’t powerful enough, and that was why he was currently surrounded by summoned creatures.

Kevin killed them just as Axel used to deal with them, and then just before he returned to his Stage 2, he unleashed a storm of golden particles that annihilated all the summoned creatures that remained.

As soon as Kevin returned to his Stage 2, he swore, as his Chains of Restraint lost a part of their powers too.

Just as he was about to curse Elias for being late, a rainbow portal then appeared in front of them, just as Sliman was finally getting rid of his Chains of Restraint.

What a perfect timing, thought Kevin.

Elias came out of it first, and he was already in his Stage 2. Miguel was following right after him, and they both moved to stand between Sliman and Kevin and Axel.

After them came Mykael and Colin, who joined Kevin immediately, standing in front of Axel to protect him. Then Tarik, Lanis, Malo, and Glen positioned themselves behind Elias and Miguel to support them and wait for their orders. The portal closed just after them.

That was it; Elias couldn’t bring more men with them, as all his Warrior Spirits were already gone to other worlds to recruit allies or were taking care of the training of those who would join them for the final battle.

At first, he just wanted to go alone with Miguel, but Miguel told him that Mykael had the right to know that his sons were in danger. As Axel told them that Ulyss and Roman were coming, they decided to take Tarik and the others with them, as they were the ones who helped them manage the other training centers.

Caleb, Isaac, Iris, and Helena wanted to join them, but they couldn’t leave Kevin and Axel’s world without protection, as Lilith or Cassandra could decide to strike at any moment if they were not there to guard this world.
