Chapter 646: *Our King didn’t let us without protection*

Atlas then told them, to make them understand the danger of this kind of attack, "I’m not just talking about a few kilometers here; we have to find a solution to stop these laser beams from crashing here, or it will be a real tragedy."

Axel then had a genius idea, and Kevin immediately spoke up, because he had been able to follow Axel’s thoughts thanks to their link, "It might work, and this Ancient God won’t dare to launch such an attack again after this."

Atlas and Solomon wanted to ask them what they had in mind, but suddenly two things happened extremely quickly. The first was the appearance of two other golden portals just to the left and right of where the two laser beams had collided, and at practically the same time, Axel and Kevin’s golden laser beam veered slightly to the right, causing the black laser beam to veer to the left, and both laser beams entered the golden portals.

Sliman immediately ordered his General Wizard to stop his attack just as Axel and Kevin had just done, and as he was about to do it again, this time using even more power, he widened his eyes as he just felt where their laser beams had been sent.

When he looked in the direction of where the impenetrable barrier was and saw the light of an explosion, he paled and disappeared immediately, leaving the General Wizard and the Elite Warrior Wizards to deal with them.

Solomon then asked them, curious about Sliman’s reaction, "Where did you send these two laser beams?"

Kevin smirked and told them, "Right at their impenetrable barrier! It’s located in a completely deserted area, so neither the evil beings nor the humans of this world will have to suffer the consequences of this attack... Well done, my dear husband; that was an excellent idea."

Atlas then asked them, as he stayed focused on their opponents, "Has the impenetrable barrier been broken?"

Axel shook his head and said, "Unfortunately, these barriers are very powerful, and only a few weapons can break them. My father’s sword is one of them, and it’s only because it was created by the Creator himself that it possesses this kind of power."

Kevin then told them, "Miguel and Elias can also destroy them by combining their powers, but for example, Miguel alone can simply open a breach temporarily to let us through."

Solomon nodded, and he then asked them, "I guess that this Ancient God has finally understood that Axel had been following him and that we already know what they are doing here, right?"

But then Axel told them, smiling, "This God isn’t too stupid, like Kev said, but he is arrogant like most of the Ancient Gods, and even if he can admit, because he doesn’t have another choice, that I have been following him until the impenetrable barrier, for him it’s totally impossible that I have been able to enter through it and leave without him noticing me... His thoughts right now are a total mess, and so it is very easy for me to read them."

Axel then told them, "As the impenetrable barrier is fine, he is coming back..."

They suddenly turned all their heads as Lena, Maya, and Peter, who was carrying Sora on his back, were joining them, and Lena then said to them, "Sorry, but the walls and ground were shaking so hard that your golden chains had to protect us from the rocks that were falling on us. So we chose to come here with you since the center of the cave was too unstable for us to stay there."

Atlas then immediately asked her, worried, "Are you hurt?"

But Lena shook her head, and she showed him the golden chains that were glowing on her wrist. "I’m fine; as I said, our King didn’t leave us without protection... Can we help you?"

Peter then gently placed Sora on the ground, and Maya used the nature she was connected with to make a comfortable bed for her to rest.

Then they joined them, and Peter patted Solomon’s shoulder before telling him, "Do not worry; she is perfectly fine. She will wake up once she has rested enough."

Maya then added, "It is a miracle that she was able to launch such an attack when she is not used to using nature, but the consequences could have been terrible if Lena and Willow weren’t there to treat her in time..."

Solomon then told them, "It is not a miracle, and Sora often uses this kind of attack when we are looting dungeons... So rest assured, Sora is strong enough to use nature to fight; it is just that yesterday morning we already fought a huge battle, and after that, she continued to use her powers to heal the wounds and help others."

Peter then said to his wife, "See? I told you that our daughter could use nature as well as the Black Elves... She is just exhausted."

Maya then widened her eyes and screamed, "Be careful!"

But Axel and Kevin had felt it too, and just before Sliman’s sword collided with their force field, Axel teleported outside and blocked this blow with his own divine sword.

Kevin then summoned dead Wizards and dead Knights outside the force field too, as Axel was fighting Sliman in the air to avoid destroying the mountain where Kevin and the others were.

Kevin then thought that it was time to see if his dead Wizards could draw energy directly from the other elements he could use.

He summoned only 8 of them and asked each to use a different element to form their energy balls. Kevin was thrilled when he saw that 7 out of the 8 elements he mastered could be used by his dead Wizards. Only the Angelic Divine Element couldn’t be used by them apparently, and so two of his dead Wizards created an energy ball from the Darkness Element.
