Chapter 575: *Summoned creatures*
After a short break, the battle resumed, forcing Mykael and Colin to give up their positions and Miguel and Elias replaced them due to the increase in Ulyss’ Stats and those of Roman, who had also consumed two black pills. The power of their black flames had become increasingly difficult to counter for Mykael and Colin.
Fortunately, Axel had assisted Mykael in strengthening his body against the black particles, and Mykael had also leveled up to a level 9/10 God.
Without this enhancement, things could have gone poorly for both him and Colin immediately after Ulyss took those black pills.
Elias gave them the rest of the battle to deal with, and with Miguel, they started to fight against Ulyss and Roman.
Elias wanted to finish them off quickly because without their leaders, these poor Legendary creatures wouldn’t be organized and the victory would undoubtedly be theirs.
With Miguel, whether they managed to kill Ulyss and Roman or just made them run away didn’t really matter, because once they were gone, Elias could then join Isaac, Caleb, Iris, Tarik, and Helena, who were the first Warrior Spirits to appear, and try to get rid of as many Demons of Lilith’s personal guard as possible.
Mykael, who had to organize the rest of the battlefield, ordered Lucas to lead their men to fight against the Legendary creatures with the Shapeshifters and the Demons of Axel and Kevin’s world, and thirty Warrior Spirits had also joined them to limit the casualties on their side.
The first Warrior Spirits were already fighting against the most powerful Demons, and they didn’t need reinforcements for now.
As for the Knights of Darkness, they were mixed with the Drakonits and the rest of the Warrior Spirits, as well as Axel, Kevin, Alan, Erik, Nolan, Liam, Ian, and the rest of them, were the ones fighting against them.
Mykael then sent Colin to assist Lucas, and he went to join his sons to help them deal with their fierce opponents.
Kevin and Alan tried again to send the special fireballs, but these Knights of Darkness and Drakonits were stronger than the previous batch, and so even though they could still injure them, it wasn’t as effective as before.
Kevin then contacted Elias and Miguel through their communication stones and asked them, "Should I use summoned creatures to deal with them? There are more numerous than expected, and even if we can win this battle, it won’t be without paying a huge price this time... What do you say?"
Elias wanted to wait until the battle against the Titans to use this trick, but Kevin was right; even if their victory was inevitable, not everyone would come out alive from this battle, and they couldn’t afford to lose too many of their men now.
Elias then looked at Miguel, who slightly nodded, and so he told Kevin, "Use only your Dead Knights and Dead Wizards. Keep your stronger spells for the upcoming battle. It should be enough to use them to protect our men; we just need more manpower anyway."
Kevin answered him right away, "Then let’s do that. You can rest assured that I will do my best to protect them."
Elias then told him, "Take Axel and Mykael with you to protect you while you are summoning your creatures."
Kevin reassured him, and then he cut off their communication. Axel joined him at once and said, "Let’s go over there; it will be easier for us to protect you. I have already warned my father; he will follow us as soon as he has dealt with his opponents."
Kevin then left with Axel to another corner of the battlefield where the fights were less intense, and then he started right away to summon creatures.
[Darkness element spell level 3: Summoning Dead Knights, Soul force required to activate: 1,000 points]
You can choose 3 options:
- 1 Dead Knight level 150, Yes / No
- 3 Dead Knights level 75, Yes / No
- 10 Dead Knights level 50, Yes / No
Kevin could only choose option 1, as the rest of his Dead Knights would be too weak to face their current opponents.
So, after drinking 3 legendary-grade healing potions to regenerate his Soul force points, he summoned a hundred level 150 Dead Knights.
Then, with the help of Axel and Mykael, they chose how to distribute them on the battlefield, and then he started with his second batch of summoned creatures.
[Darkness element spell level 4: Summoning Dead Wizards, Soul force required to activate: 2,000 points]
You can choose 3 options:
- 1 Dead Wizard level 175, Yes / No
- 3 Dead Wizards level 100, Yes / No
- 10 Dead Wizards level 70, Yes / No
Kevin again chose option 1, and this time he summoned only 50 Dead Wizards. He still had to drink 3 more legendary-grade healing potions to be able to summon them, but it was worth it. Even though these Dead Wizards could only send normal fireballs, they were powerful enough to injure the Legendary creatures, which would relieve some of the weight for the ones who were fighting against them.
After they were done partitioning them on the battlefield and after having killed the Knights of Darkness and some Drakonits that had tried to stop them from summoning more creatures, they joined the others again, who felt less pressure now that they had gained some more manpower.
And as Kevin could still summon more creatures at any time, they didn’t feel any guilt about using the Dead Knights as shields against the black particles.
Elias and Miguel didn’t regret having to use Kevin’s summoned creatures as they would undoubtedly save a lot of lives, and so they could now really focus on getting rid of these bastards, as they didn’t have to worry for their men anymore.
Apparently, Ulyss and Roman couldn’t take more than 2 black pills at a time because they had to wait for their powers to wear off before they could take more black pills.
