Chapter 574: *Our old friends*
The rest of the Knights of Darkness were wiped out quickly after that, and Miguel even took the time to observe how Alan formed his spell so that he could reproduce it.
He may not have had Kevin’s system, but with the knowledge that the Cradle of Magic had given him, copying spells was a breeze.
The new spell Alan had just created rained down on the battlefield, and the first wave of Legendary creatures that had been giving them trouble was finally subdued with no casualties on their side.
Roman then used the telepathic link he shared with Ulyss and said to him, "What do we do? These fireballs containing golden particles seem too powerful to be countered by our men..."
Ulyss smirked then and said, "It’s time to bring in the last wave of creatures. Let’s see if these fireballs will continue to be effective against the Demons of Lilith’s personal guard, and let’s also invite some Drakonits. I’m sure they will be happy to take care of those traitors."
Roman then said, "Okay, let’s open the transdimensional portals. I will take care of forwarding your message while you deal with these two!"
Ulyss, who could use his final form at will, took two black pills, one after another, and all his Stats then increased by 10,000 points for the next 10 minutes.
He then raised his hand behind him, and dozens of transdimensional portals opened up. A true army then emerged from the black portals, and over 500 Legendary creatures joined the battlefield.
Lilith’s personal guards were mixed in with them, as well as the Drakonits who were not originally planned for this battle and could also teleport into Lilith’s personal dimension whenever they wished.
Elias didn’t expect to face so many creatures for the second wave, and especially not Lilith’s personal guards... It was very unexpected, but fortunately, he had kept 30 Warrior Spirits on standby in his Palace just in case.
So he too opened a golden portal that was enough to bring in the rest of his men, and Mykael also opened a portal bringing Lucas and the rest of his best men onto the battlefield.
In the end, they ended up being one against five, which Miguel and Elias thought was perfectly acceptable.
Elias then sent a private message to all the first Warrior Spirits, those who had fought alongside him in the war against the Gods, and he told them, "Guys, did you see who is hiding among those poor Legendary creatures... Our old friends... So, if you have scores to settle with them, now is the time!"
Caleb then felt a sharp look on his face, and when he finally met the gaze of the Demon who was staring at him, he smirked in spite of himself and said to Isaac, who was next to him, "Brother, you see that? It looks like that general is still mad at us after the defeat we gave him in your world."
Isaac then put his arm around his shoulders and said, "From here, I’d say it’s you he’s mad at; after all, you’re the one who beat him to the bone, not me!"
Kelan then asked him, "Who is this general?"
Caleb said to him, smiling at him, "That’s a long story, which I will tell you next time, and in the meantime, I would rather you stay with your brothers."
Caleb then explained to him, "There are opponents among those Legendary creatures that are Demons that we have already faced during the War against the Gods. Besides, I was pretty sure that I had killed that general... So, my dear husband, these Demons are way too strong for you, and I don’t want to risk you getting hurt, so please..."
Kelan nodded and said, cutting him off, "Don’t worry, I get it. I will let you sort it out between Warrior Spirits then."
Just as Kelan was leaving to join his brothers, Caleb stopped him and pulled him back into his embrace to share with him a passionate kiss.
Caleb then said after that, "Don’t worry, I will keep an eye on you, my dear husband."
As Kelan left, Jordan, who had stayed next to Isaac, then asked him, "Do you want me to leave you to fight with your friends and join another group too?"
Isaac then said with a smile, "No, stay with us, my love. We may need you to protect us against the black particles, and Kelan, unlike you, still lacks a bit of power to be able to face them. After all, until recently, Kelan was just a simple fighter, and even though he is endowed with an uncommon intelligence, even for a Warrior Spirit, his Stats, even since his marriage to Caleb, are still too low against this kind of opponent."
Caleb was well aware of this, and that was why he had sent Kelan away, but he said to Jordan, "You can stay with us, Jordan. As Isaac said, your powers will surely be of great help to us."
Jordan nodded, happy to be able to stay to fight alongside them, and as for Kelan, he joined his two brothers, who were in the front line with his now stepfather and Kevin, Axel, and the others.
When Axel saw him coming, he asked him with a frown, "Does Caleb intend to fight those powerful Demons?"
Kelan just nodded and told them, "He was too worried about me; that’s why he sent me with you guys."
Axel then told him, "Then he sent you to the wrong side of the battle because these powerful Drakonits want to kill Phil and Blaise so badly that they gave me goosebumps."
Kelan then looked at them, and indeed they all looked very serious, so he said while finally smiling, "Good then, I will be able to pass my nerves onto someone."
Alan and Nolan then looked at their big brother, and they could only pity those who would fight against Kelan when he was in this kind of mood.
