Chapter 568: *That was fast*
Miguel then called Jordan to remove the black particles that had touched two of the Warrior Spirits, and then he said with a loud voice, "Everyone, let’s see if your training was worth your efforts; let’s fight!"
.........
Lilith had been cautious while choosing the Demons and Legendary creatures who would participate in this fight.
This battle was first and foremost a way to test the strength of their enemies, but she was also aware that Elias, like herself, would not show all his cards.
She was still looking for a way to improve the power of Ulyss and Roman, her very first humans who had been able to become Knights of Darkness.
However, she felt that the lesson from the last time she had come to rescue her little princess hadn’t been sufficient for them.
They truly needed to experience a beating to comprehend the extent of their power deficiency if they wanted to stand a chance against someone like Elias or his husband.
As for the Demons that were in her personal dimension, they were all fighters or mages of great value to her, so she hesitated for a long time to send them into battle.
She finally agreed that the most experienced ones could go, with the condition that they had to teleport immediately to her personal dimension if they were in any danger.
Of course, this order was only valid for Ulyss, Roman, and her Demons; the Legendary creatures, even those who had become Knights of Darkness, did not have access to her personal dimension, and for them to be able to come back, they would have to have Ulyss or Roman open a transdimensional portal for them... Which, considering their personalities, would surely not happen.
Cassandra then told her, "They have already called in the first wave of Legendary creatures... That was fast."
Lilith then said to her, while kissing the base of her neck, "At least Ulyss and Roman will finally understand that if they want to deal with Elias and his Warrior Spirits, they have to be stronger than they are now."
Cassandra then leaned against Lilith and said to her, "Isn’t it a waste to sacrifice all those Legendary creatures? Aren’t you afraid you will regret it later?"
Lilith wrapped her arms around Cassandra’s slim waist and said, "All those Legendary creatures are just lab rats, and I have many more, so why worry about them? Our real army is in your parents’ world, so even if Elias and his men win this battle, they have no idea how many we will really be, and thanks to you and your mother’s powers of premonition, the Warrior Spirits won’t be able to find out until it is too late because they won’t be able to get their usual clear visions."
Cassandra then stroked her cheek, and Lilith, after looking at her for a long time, ended up kissing her.
Lately, Lilith did not seem to ever be satiated; the fire of passion that burned between them did not seem to want to extinguish anytime soon, and Cassandra was really pleased with this outcome.
Even though the past few days had been incredibly exhausting for her, as her body had undergone a thorough cleansing to eliminate all the Corium from her bloodstream.
But finally, she had fully awakened the Titans’ bloodline that had long remained dormant within her, which had dramatically amplified her power beyond anything she had experienced before.
And in addition to this powerful bloodline, Lilith had decided to share her own power with her, or at least a part of her powers, by using the same method the Drakonits used with their life partners.
So finally, even though this Warrior Spirit from whom she had stolen the soul had unmasked her and ruined all of her plans, she had still gotten what she wanted.
She had finally acquired the Titans bloodline that her father had unlocked for her, and she had gotten the woman she wanted more than anything.
Lilith, while waiting for her men to come back and report to her, decided to continue playing with her little princess to pass the time because, since Cassandra had awakened her Titans bloodline, she was much more energetic while having sex, and it had also become a real treat to sink her fangs into her throat.
......
Back in the neutral dimension, the battle was raging, and everyone was fighting like they did in the dungeons. Axel, Kevin, Alan, and Erik were fighting Knights of Darkness, and even though they hadn’t been able to loot many purple dungeons together recently—because Axel and Kevin had been busy cleansing the different worlds ruled by Werewolves of all the corrupted souls in them—they had no trouble coordinating their attacks.
Axel and Alan were so used to fighting together that they were in perfect symbiosis; both could guess what the other wanted to do even before he knew it himself, and as for Kevin and Erik, they had already proven in previous fights that their teamwork worked perfectly well.
To fight without too much risk against the Knights of Darkness, one had to be able to either use the Divine Evil element to avoid being consumed by the black particles or use the Divine Angelic element, which was the only one that could destroy the black particles.
And since Alan had an affinity with the Divine Angelic element now, Erik, even though he was neither a Mage nor a Divine creature, had a constant shield of golden particles around him that protected him from the black ones.
The Dual Cultivation bond they shared together was really very powerful, and the thin golden thread that bound them together had become thick, with a golden aura even forming around it.
They could now not only use a telepathic link to communicate with each other, but lately they had had to learn to control a new power because whenever one thought of the other, he found himself instantly teleported to him.
