Chapter 559: *A family matter*

Dilan had never felt so powerful before, and he could really control those black arrows.

But it was a good thing he wasn’t there to gather resources or make money because as soon as the black arrows came in contact with one of these creatures, it would disintegrate completely, and then the black particles would disappear, probably returning to the Divine energy.

Like any weapon impregnated with an element, the number of black particles inside the blade was sufficient for them to reproduce themselves, and that was why Phil had told him that he didn’t have to worry and that he could use these black particles as much as he wanted, while reminding him to be careful because they were extremely dangerous.

Dilan really enjoyed this new dungeon, especially this new weapon, and Phil, who had seen the difference in power that Dilan was able to harness thanks to his weapon, also let him face more creatures.

After the dungeon boss was killed, Dilan refused the magic bag that Phil was handing him when Phil told him that it was his share of the loot.

Dilan then said to him, "Honestly, Phil, I don’t need it. I already have more money than I need, but on the other hand, if you agree, I’ll keep your sword, and I’m sure it’s still worth much more than all the corpses of the creatures we collected tonight, right?"

Phil didn’t insist because it didn’t matter to him anyway; all that mattered was how many levels Dilan had been able to gain that night, and he was very pleased with the result.

As he had expected, being able to loot purple dungeons just the two of them was a real boon, as the number of experience points they could earn was considerable.

So Phil put the magic bag away, and held out his hand to Dilan to help him up, saying, "I have already told you, of course, you can keep this sword. As for its value, I have no idea about it. These two swords are weapons I won in a tournament when I was still in the world of Titans."

Dilan got up with Phil’s help, but he immediately staggered, and Phil had to hold him so he wouldn’t fall to the ground. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮

Phil swore and immediately carried him in his strong arms before spreading his Drakonit wings while saying, "It’s time to go home. The healing potions of legendary grade can’t do anything for mental fatigue, and using the black particles of that sword must have worn you out. But don’t worry, after a night’s sleep, you should be fine."

Dilan, who felt like his head was going to explode, let go and leaned against Phil’s chest without saying anything, and Phil then got them out of that dungeon at high speed thanks to his Drakonit wings. Once outside, he immediately opened a teleportation portal and took Dilan home.

When they arrived, Kelan and Caleb were in the living room playing chess, and Kelan immediately turned pale when he saw the state his father was in.

He immediately stood up, and before he could say anything, Dilan raised his hand, still with his eyes closed and his head resting on Phil’s chest, who had returned to his human form, and said, recognizing Kelan’s energy, "Son, I’m fine. I just need Ashton’s remedy against mental fatigue."

Kelan gritted his teeth and glared at Phil before saying, "Okay, wait for me here. I will be right back!"

Kelan instantly disappeared using the prison dimension to teleport to the room in the royal palace where Nolan and Ashton now lived, and probably sensing his presence, his younger brother immediately opened the door. Kelan immediately said to him, "I need Ashton’s remedy... It’s for Dad..."

Nolan frowned, but he conjured up several remedies at once in his hand before asking, "What happened? How is Daddy?"

Kelan took the remedies and said before disappearing, "I don’t know, but he was with Phil... Again... Damn, it’s a shame that I’m not powerful enough to beat him up. How could he let our father end up like that!"

Nolan, who didn’t have time to stop Kelan before he disappeared, quickly went back inside his room and went to shake Ashton, who was still meditating.

When Ashton opened his eyes, surprised to be interrupted, Nolan told him right away, "Sorry, my little rabbit, but I have to go to the manor; it’s a family matter. I’ll be back soon so you can keep meditating."

Ashton nodded and asked him, "Don’t you need me?"

Nolan shook his head and said while stroking his cheek, "I just wanted to warn you in case you came out of your meditation and didn’t find me in our room... I’ll be right back, right my love?"

Ashton then grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him toward him to kiss him before saying, "I’m almost done, so don’t hang around too long!" A smile appeared on Nolan’s face, and after kissing him back, he said, "Don’t worry, the next time you open your eyes, I’ll be right here waiting for you..."

Then, Nolan also used the prison dimension to teleport himself directly to their family’s manor, hoping that in the meantime, Kelan had not tried to do anything stupid to Phil.

Fortunately, Caleb had talked to Phil in the meantime, and when Kelan returned, he explained to him what had happened.

Kelan didn’t know until now that Phil had this kind of feelings for his father, but after what Caleb had told him, it was suddenly obvious to him.

And as his father seemed to enjoy hanging out with him, he sighed before telling Phil, after his father drank the remedy, "Don’t worry too much. Ashton’s remedy is really very effective; Dad will feel better soon."

Phil, who could already see colors returning to Dilan’s face, was reassured, and so he said to them, "Since you are already here, I will let you take care of him for me. I don’t want to disturb your family reunion."
