Chapter 515: *I’ve already tried all my tricks on Elias*
Miguel nodded and then explained to Kevin and Atlas, "With Atlas, we will be focused on their bodies and more precisely on their Soul Force reserves to be able to act fast if any problem occurs."
Miguel then looked at Kevin and told him, "So, I need you to keep me posted when they are about to reach the 10,000 particles because creating an affinity with a Divine element is never something easy. Their bodies will inevitably undergo a change, and it will probably be a crucial moment for Ian and Jordan, so we need to be prepared."
Kevin nodded; he finally understood why Miguel needed him, and so he looked at Ian and Jordan before telling them, "We all have your back, so stay focused and do your best."
Ian and Jordan didn’t delay anymore; they were scared that Miguel would change his mind. So Ian activated his two bloodlines and transformed into a Divine Drakonit, while Jordan just pushed all his powers to the maximum.
Then, they both sat down cross-legged on the floor and started to focus on the crystals that were in front of them. As Ian and Jordan were both Divine creatures, they could both see the golden particles inside the crystals.
The only difference between them was that Ian also had a Divine creature as a husband, and so it was much easier for him to absorb the golden particles.
The fact that he had sunk his fangs so many times into Liam’s neck and shoulders had not only changed Liam’s metabolism, making him stronger than any other wolf, except for Axel, of course, who was on a completely different level... He too had gained a lot by doing this, especially in the control of the Divine energy. So it was really a piece of cake for him to absorb those golden particles.
Kevin opened his eyes wide when he saw the speed at which Ian was absorbing the golden particles, and he told Miguel right away, "Jordan just started to absorb them, but Ian has already absorbed 500 of them, and his speed keeps increasing."
Miguel nodded and told him, "They are both Divine creatures now, so they have access to the Divine energy. That’s why, when there is a concentration of these particles, they can see them and absorb them. However, they are not Gods, so they shouldn’t be able to create an affinity with these two Divine elements. It’s like they are forcibly creating this affinity, and that’s why it’s dangerous for them."
Kevin then asked him, "Is it because Liam and Ian are life partners that it seems easier for him?"
Miguel nodded and smiled before telling him, "You’re right; even though Liam is not a mage, being a Divine creature allows him to use the Divine energy to fight. He will never be able to create an affinity with this element, but like Axel, he can concentrate it and use it as a laser beam. And as Ian has marked Liam like the Drakonits mark their loved ones, he kind of got the same advantages as you thanks to Axel marking your neck. That’s why it’s easier for him to absorb the golden particles."
Kevin just nodded, and he asked Miguel, "If we see that there is no risk having both the Div..."
But Miguel cut him off right away and told him, "Don’t ever think of creating an affinity with the Evil Divine element, ever Kev. Is that understood?"
But Kevin, who didn’t like to give up so easily, asked him again, "Why not?"
Miguel then chuckled and told him, "For the same reason why Elias forbade me to try it... You will become a Priest soon, and you are also the only other Stage 3 Warrior Spirit apart from him. If you lose control, and all your powers get exacerbated, how are we supposed to stop you? You don’t want to put your husband’s life in danger, right?"
Kevin sighed helplessly; he could understand it now, and he told Miguel, as he could see that he too was disappointed, "That’s not fun..."
Miguel smiled at him and said, "Believe me, I’ve already tried all my tricks on Elias for him to let me try, but for once he was completely adamant. Sorry, son, and you’re right, it’s not fun at all..."
After an hour, Kevin was still watching their progress, and Ian had already absorbed more than 8,000 particles. As for Jordan, he had only reached 3,000 particles, so Kevin then told Miguel, "At this speed, Jordan will need 2 hours and a half to get his affinity with the Angelic Divine element, but it will be such a waste to stop his training before he gets it."
Atlas then said, speaking for the first time since they had started absorbing the golden particles, "It’s okay; we can still afford to lose a morning of training. If both of them can really learn to master both the Divine elements, I’m even willing to lose a full day of training."
Miguel then said to them, "You’re both right, so we will wait until they are both done, but... My men will really kill me if I miss their training in the Red dungeon, so I hope everything will be done by then."
Atlas chuckled and asked him, "Are the Red dungeons so fun to loot?"
Miguel smile widened and he told him, "Well, you will see for yourself this afternoon. You will go with Elias and protect our men from the Evil Divine element, and don’t worry; Elias is fair with everyone; he will let you have some fun too."
Atlas couldn’t wait to see that; he had already seen how powerful the Warrior Spirits under Elias and Miguel’s command were. So the fact that they were all looking forward to looting these Red dungeons meant that the creatures inside them must be really very powerful.
Suddenly, Miguel swore, and he disappeared right away without saying anything. Then, Kevin and Atlas finally felt it... An explosion of power was coming from where Alan was.
