Chapter 477: *Feeling a little worried...*
When the fight resumed, Kevin had already activated his Stage 2 and was ready to intervene at any moment. Mykael had created a force field around him to hide his power from this Alpha and his acolytes so that these bastards would not suspect anything and would reveal their true faces to everyone.
But Kevin was really feeling a little worried now; not about Axel’s fight or the fate of this world, because soon it would be purged of its traitors, but because of Lilith.
She had kept a low profile for so long that even Elias and Miguel didn’t know that the Knights of Darkness existed. If it was only her army that was in the world of the Titans, it was still a manageable situation for them.
But if she had taken over worlds ruled by Werewolves, and perhaps other species that operated with an established hierarchy like the Vampires, for example, after all, the Elite Warrior Vampire they had faced in their first purple dungeon had also used a black pill... then the threat she posed was not the same at all.
The threat that Diana posed would have been almost insignificant compared to her if, because of her ambition, she wasn’t creating specters that could destroy the cradle of magic and thus kill most of the lives in their universe.
Kevin then sighed helplessly, and Mykael suddenly asked him worriedly, "Did you see anything else?"
As Kevin shook his head slightly, he said to him, "No, it’s just that the sentence my master said came back to my mind... He said that our list of enemies keeps growing... and he wasn’t wrong."
It wasn’t the right time to tell him about the Vampires because the attack on Axel’s family’s pack was imminent, but he told him anyway, "Before we leave for the worlds ruled by the Werewolves, as we planned, I absolutely must talk to Elias and Miguel first."
Mykael nodded and said to him, "Okay, I will contact them as soon as we are done here."
Suddenly, the screams of the Werewolves next to the ones who had taken the black pills were heard, and Kevin immediately threw his Chains of Restraint against them.
Colin was in charge of the shield to protect Axel’s family pack, and he was assisting Kevin in neutralizing those Werewolves who had just swallowed a black pill.
Mykael was the one keeping an eye on Axel, not in case this Alpha represented a danger to him, but to intervene quickly if his emotions became too unstable and that the mysterious force that had used his golden tattoo tried to take over his body again.
But finally, everything went well. Thanks to the quick intervention of Kevin and Colin, no Werewolves were hurt, and all those who had taken a black pill were kept prisoner by the Chains of Restraint.
Axel had peace of mind knowing that Kevin, his father, and Colin were there to protect his family, so he didn’t give that Alpha a chance to hurt him again.
This bastard was a little too confident; he believed that his black particle shield would protect him from all weapons. But Axel had covered his legendary-grade sword with golden particles, and every time he struck him, the blade of his sword passed through this shield and burned his skin.
The golden particles penetrated his body little by little through the wounds inflicted by Axel’s legendary sword, and soon, this Alpha was no longer able to fight. He began to scream, scratching himself all over his body.
A few seconds passed with his screams of agony filling the arena; then his body caught fire, and he was quickly covered by golden flames that finished disintegrating him.
Axel’s grandfather, who was still the Supreme Alpha of this world, joined Axel the wolf in the arena and patted him on the shoulder before saying to him, "Well done, kid. I would have probably died if I had to face him, and our pack without the help of your husband and Colin would have suffered heavy losses."
Axel the wolf nodded, maintaining a serious expression as he asked him, "What are your plans for them, Grandpa?"
As he said this, he looked at the Werewolves that Kevin had neutralized with the Chains of Restraint, and his grandfather said without hesitation, "There is only one way to deal with traitors: I will kill them all."
Then he explained to him, "This pack will have 2 days to elect its new Alpha, and they will have to undergo strict controls. What happened today is very serious. Normally, because of the madness of this Alpha and his men, all their pack should have been completely wiped out. But since you managed to contain the threat and there were no deaths in our pack, I will be magnanimous and give them a chance to survive, but this new Alpha will owe our pack a blood debt, and he knows it."
Axel the wolf then said to him, "Fine, then Grandpa, let me take care of these traitors for you. After this show, the last Alpha I have left to face will forfeit, and you will finally be able to go home and rest. Don’t forget that the wound you just suffered was very serious."
Axel’s grandfather nodded and said to him before going back to the stands, "Okay, kid, I will let you handle this... It feels good to have the new generation around to take care of everything, and you are also right... I’m completely exhausted."
Axel the wolf smiled at him and immediately contacted Kevin to say, "My love, bring all these Werewolves into the arena. I’m going to take them all on at once using my final wolf form... and after that, we will be able to go back home."
Kevin smiled as he heard this; his show of power was about to begin, and so he ordered his Chains of Restraint to drop all of these Werewolves into the arena.
