Chapter 476: *It is a fight to the death !*
He continued to laugh with his demented laugh, and suddenly he stopped and said with a face full of hatred, "I must admit that you surprised me. I didn’t think a Werewolf could become a divine creature, but it doesn’t really matter. I will kill you, and I will also kill your beloved grandfather. I will become the Supreme Alpha of this world, and all these Werewolves will finally be forced to obey me. It is not you who will be able to stop me."
He then made appear a long and wide sword with an entirely black blade, and he said before rushing at him, "I change the rules of this fight. I will take the power by force; it is no longer a friendly duel to measure our strength; it is a fight to the death!"
Axel then conjured up a sword of legendary grade that his father had given him, and he began to parry his blows, being careful not to be hit by his sword. It was not the first time he had seen this kind of sword, and he knew that they were very dangerous. This Corium could block his energy reserve, and there was a strong chance that this blade was soaked in Hydra venom.
At the same time that he was fighting this Alpha, he saw the vision that Kevin was having.
About twenty Werewolves from the same pack as this Alpha, seeing him in trouble, decided to swallow black pills, and they attacked directly the members of his family’s pack who were the closest to them in the stands.
They were all equipped with these deadly weapons, and before Kevin, his father, and Colin could react, they had time to kill many of the Werewolves of his family’s pack.
The vision stopped, and Axel the wolf let out a grunt of pain as the blade of this Alpha’s sword, because of the vision he had just seen with Kevin, managed to slash his arm.
But he didn’t stop fighting, and when he found an opening, he punched him in the face, which made him back up a few steps. That was enough for him to take the venom remedy they always had in their inventory with Kevin in case of emergency.
Kevin, of course, didn’t need it, but he wasn’t immune to this venom, so Kevin always kept some in their inventory.
Colin then told him, as soon as he saw him take the remedy, "Axel, use your highly developed senses to track the Corium that entered your body and eliminate it with the golden particles. I’m sure you can do it. Just focus on your fight and don’t worry; Kevin just warned us about his vision, so we’ll take care of the rest. We won’t let any member of your family’s pack get hurt."
Axel thanked him at once, and Kevin said to him right after, through their link, "My beloved wolf, don’t you dare use the power of your tattoos. With the Chains of Restraint, I can protect them all, so stay focused on your fight and kill him quickly. Let us take care of the rest."
Axel smiled then and told him, as he applied Colin’s advice and destroyed the Corium that had entered his body, "Don’t worry, my mate; I’ve already promised you that I won’t use the power of these tattoos... I’ll come and help you as soon as I can. Thankfully, we have your visions to warn us of the danger; they are really a great help."
During all this time, Axel had not taken his eyes off of this Alpha, who had just stabilized and was looking at him with eyes filled with fear.
He smirked when he saw this and told him, "Black particles are ineffective against me." He had just finished removing the Corium from his body, and so he showed him his fist, which had just been burned slightly by the black particles and which healed in a few seconds.
He then explained to him, "Corium can be eliminated by golden particles, and we already know the antidote for the Hydra venom, which makes your weapon completely harmless to me."
Axel after looking at him with disdain asked him, "So now tell me, are you still so sure you can kill me easily?"
The Alpha of the North Mountains could not believe what he had just seen; so this was the power of a divine Werewolf. Even the black particles had only been able to burn him slightly, and he had managed to neutralize the effects of the Corium so quickly that indeed his weapon seemed completely useless against him.
However, the Corium had been effective. He had seen it with his own eyes. He had to finish eliminating the Corium in his body with those golden particles he had mentioned in order to heal.
So if he managed to inflict another wound with his sword, his regeneration capacity would be blocked momentarily, and that’s when he would have to strike to deliver a fatal blow.
But to be sure to succeed, he needed him to be distracted, and so he contacted his men and warned them to be ready to intervene as they had planned in advance.
He was the only Werewolf whom Lilith had helped to advance, and as a valuable investment for her, he represented her ambition to one day control an entire world of Werewolves. To this end, she had equipped him with a variety of lethal weapons, including his formidable sword, as well as black pills designed to enhance the power of the warriors he would select.
He had already planned to attack the Supreme Alpha’s pack to ensure that he would win this fight, so whether he was fighting him or his grandson did not change his plan. But there was something that this Alpha had not taken into account at all in his plan, and that was the men who had accompanied the grandson of the Supreme Alpha.
