Chapter 461: *I’m going to see her*
Back in the Shapeshifters’ village, Willow seemed to particularly enjoy the company of the dragons, and when Axel asked her directly, surprised that she showed such a strong preference for one animal over another, she explained that it was because of the fire particles that stayed permanently near them that she felt good with them.
Just before the banquet started, Mykael and Colin teleported next to them, and since it was not planned at all, Axel immediately asked them, sensing that his father was agitated, "Is something wrong?"
Mykael nodded and motioned for them to move away a bit from the rest of their group. Axel and Kevin then quickly introduced Mykael and Colin to the Shapeshifters who were with them and then excused themselves, telling them they would be right back.
After walking away for a bit, Mykael wrapped them all behind a force field and said right away, not beating around the bush, "Your grandfather just contacted me, and he warned me that the duels to keep his place as the Supreme Alpha in their world have begun."
When he saw Axel and Kevin frown, he explained to them, "The 9 Alphas of the other packs have all decided to fight him because, after all this time without a Supreme Alpha to maintain order in their world, they have not accepted that he takes his place again, so they all want to try to become the next Supreme Alpha."
Mykael continued to tell them, "If your grandfather were in excellent physical condition, it wouldn’t be a problem for him to subdue them all, but like Connor, he is not yet in his top physical and mental state. After only two fights, he has just warned me that his body, despite the treatment Miguel had provided him, would not last through the 7 fights he still has to win. He also told me that your mother’s husband is not powerful enough to become the next Supreme Alpha... So, Axel, your grandfather is worried about your family, and he would like you to come and help them."
Kevin then asked him while looking at where the Shapeshifters were, "When is the next fight?"
Mykael, who had obviously seen the banquet that seemed to have been made in honor of his sons, then said to them, "In the early afternoon, around 3 p.m.... We can stay here to eat with them and leave right after."
He then looked at Axel, who seemed to be petrified, and Kevin then said to him, "Warn Axel, our dear grandfather, that we will come to help him. Axel’s family will always be able to count on us, and if they want a new Supreme Alpha, we will give them one."
Axel then regained his senses when Kevin took his hand and immediately asked his father, "Are you sure they are not in danger at the moment?"
Colin then smiled at him and said, "Now that we’ve found your grandfather and mother, do you really think that Mykael would have left them unprotected? Don’t worry, they’re fine, and your father’s men are watching over them."
Axel breathed a sigh of relief and then turned to Kevin, tightening his fingers around his before telling him, his emotions threatening to overwhelm him, "I’m going to see my mother, Kev... I’m going to see her..."
Kevin then caressed his cheek and said to him, "Yes, you’re finally going to meet her, and you’re going to be able to show her that she doesn’t have to worry about anything anymore because her son is the master of all the Werewolves."
Axel then smiled at him and said, "You’re right; finally, we still have a few more asses to kick today."
Colin smiled as he heard them talking and asked them curiously, "So, boys, apparently things went better than expected with the Shapeshifters... Tell us about it!"
Axel then quickly told them what had happened, and in the end, Mykael removed his force field, and his sons introduced him to the Shapeshifters who would be joining their intensive training.
Then the banquet began, and Willow immediately joined Mykael to show him her affection, which made Axel and Kevin laugh a lot because Willow, of course, adored her grandpa, as Mykael spoiled her too much.
But he was not the only one to get her attention, as she also showed her affection to Colin, who had become her hunting partner, which made everyone smile.
The Shapeshifters, after seeing that their King, Axel, and the men who accompanied them behaved like anyone else and that they didn’t look down on them, all had a good time with them, and the last doubts that some of them still had were quickly swept away during this banquet.
Before leaving, Axel reminded Raven and the men who had been chosen to be ready at 8 a.m. tomorrow morning to start their training, and all of them nodded with a serious look on their faces.
Mykael then opened a transdimensional portal, and the five of them went through it.
Willow had fallen asleep in Mykael’s arms, and Mykael had asked his sons if he could keep her with him for a while before they took her back to their dimension, where she had made her cozy nest with her birth blanket and clothes that had the scent of her dads, and Kevin and Axel had of course agreed, not having the heart to say no to him anyway.
Once on the other side, they were immediately greeted by Axel’s grandfather and a whole group of people.
When Kevin saw Axel’s grandfather’s ashen face, he couldn’t help but frown, and he told him immediately, not caring about the other people who were behind him, "Grandpa, you should have told us right away; you really don’t look well."
Axel, who was observing the people behind his grandfather curiously, especially the woman and the girl who were there, then turned his attention back to his grandfather when he heard Kevin’s words.
